Overall, it has been a disappointing experience working with Lennar. We brought up multiple concerns during the construction process that were not addressed in a timely basis. As a result, closing was pushed back because they couldn’t get a CO issued. They fired their superintendent and we a new the week before the closing. To date, (almost two months post close) there are still a number of unaddressed issues on their “promise to fix” list.

Great house, below average attention to detail

Great house and the team seem committed to achieve the final items on the exception list. Good surprise offered by the smart home package. However, the finishes are not great, not in line with the value of the house... the customer journey is somewhat engineered, but not well delivered by the different parties. 45 days after the move, the exception list is still open.

We love the home and neighborhood. It is perfect for us. Very few, and minor issues for the most part. The home does have a full warrantee but getting help with any issues you may have is sketchy. If you have an issue you submit a job ticket. You will be connected with a "virtual" customer care assessment... but nothing can be repaired "virtually" so that is a waste of time. In the end you will be bounced to someone that represents your neighborhood in person. Whether or not action is taken on your request is in that person's hands. We purchased a home in the village with a closing date of sept 15. Ashley was our sales person and was absolutely wonderful! The house had many issue on closing date that was supposed to be repaired before closing. We did a walk through the day of closing, with an extensive list.....2 weeks later nothing repaired, scheduled or communicated. I sent another email requesting communication. My husband and I recently brought a home in Lindera Preserve and had a great experience. Everyone from sales (Alvin), construction (Chip) and even during the underwriting (Rob) was very knowledgeable and helpful. We originally were going to go with a different lender but Lennar Mortgage was able to save us thousands in monthly payments and closing costs!!!! We have been in our home for a month with no major issues and we couldn’t be happier. There are a lot a bad review about Lennar in other states but we honestly didn’t have ANY ISSUES from contract to closing. This is not our forever home ...

LiZ was good. Timely and professional. Ben was our builder and i had to manage the project at end to get water meter hooked up and finally het is to closing. Delays at end cost us 1.25% higher interest rate which will wind up costing us thousands of dollars. Could give me answers about water hookup delays, so i had to go to water dept and get things moving

Average experience. Closed on a new construction home almost 2 months ago. Sales office wasn’t particularly great at communicating, nor was the loan officer and processor team. Lennar is building at a furious rate and likely running their staff into burnout but I am not a first time home buyer and felt better attended to in previous experiences, none with Lennar. I don’t have any glowing praise to offer. The 1 year warranty inspection will tell the true story of the build quality, which in Lindera does not have a stellar reputation thus far. Horrific! Nothing about Lennar says professionalism. Poor craftsmanship and poor customer service. Our new home has more issues than a fifty year old home. We basically had to do our CM’s job because he didn’t. Even the closing was a joke! What should have been a happy day was a cluster mess our house was filthy when we closed and we had over a 100 punch list items and not minor issues. Purchasing a new home from Lennar was a very easy experience. My new home is beautiful. Once I moved into my new house, I found so many problems. I have had light fixtures falling out on the ceiling, the paint on the doors coming off, a cabinet door falling off, and many other problems. I do have to give Lennar credit for addressing these problems. If you have a problem, you report it to Lennar through a website. It is like filling out a ticket for your problem. Shoddy Workmanship--Hurry Up and Get Out Mind Set--No Pride

Globs of cement all over garage floor. Globs o f cement between garage floor and beginning of driveway and a 2 inch height difference between garage floor and driveway leading to myself and guests tripping (very dangerous). Hardware missing on door lock to back porch. Masterbath shower drain corroded with tile red and white plaster :(totally unsightly). Cement splattered all over trim of outside garage door and all along front of garage where floor meets driveway, etc. One thumbs up nice quality kitchen appliances.

Bad bad bad. Issues with cement and grading of property. I can’t even walk between my house and neighbors. I lost a sneaker in the mud and lawn mower gets stuck. This was brought up at the last walkthrough and said it would be addressed. Never was and now it might cost me thousands to make right. I have 8 kids that are all adults and home buying. I have told them all to look elsewhere

This is my second Lennar home and this experience is nothing like my first experience. There was and has been poor communication between us and Lennar for the entire process. This includes warranty people and construction managers. I have been living in my house for over a month and the landscape is still not completed. My experience with Lennar has been quick and smooth. We closed pretty quick and everything still didn’t feel rushed at all. Once I moved in the minor issues we did have our home Customer care rep always helped out and reached out quickly as possible. Overall experience has been good.

The end result is a beautiful home! My two issues: the sales agent, Julia was very arrogant and condescending! This is the 6th house I’ve purchased and not new at this! She demanded I select a lot that I didn’t want as “there are 10 other people waiting to purchase each model!” Also, when a model depicts an open bannister railing, I shouldn’t view my finished house and be told that there is a wall instead and that this was an option but you can’t have ANY options!! Our construction manager, Eric, was the best! He was always available to answer questions. He was very professional and on point with his work. He always handled everything with a smile and his tone never changed for the worse. He is an excellent CM and because of him, I would buy a Lennar home again! He delivers what he promises and on time! He even went the extra mile on closing and after closing to ensure we were set with our purchase. Hire Eric again for your next project!!!
