Ask a lot of questions before signing a contract.

very nice community but the nearest school for my kids to attend is over 30 mins away and estimated bus drive is 1.5 hours. If we needed to pick up or drop off our kids it would consume over 2 hours a day spent driving. If you have kids that need to attend school do not move here. also the infrastructure has not been addressed. One builder is dropping 700 homes and the roads are single lane each way. This area is going to be a mess for several years until the growth catches up to the homes being built.

Overall, very satisfied. My only complaint would be the interior painting, specifically the trim. Workmanship is not what I would expect based on the cost of our home.

If you weren’t rushing to hit a close date to keep the transaction in the fiscal calendar I feel we would have moved into a more ready home and avoided the issues we face

Lots of issues with drywall and paint.

Houses are being put up really quickly and the attention to detail is suffering because of it. We are still waiting for repair of the landscaping that was damaged by contractors driving on our lawn, poor drainage at the end of the street which causes flooding and mud building up where adults and kids have fallen. Too many transitions within the warranty department and no notice of who the contact person is. Wood is chipped throughout the house, poor paint/caulking jobs, doors misaligned, residue from stickers left on the showers and tubs which are difficult to remove and uneven floor boards put down upstairs with the poor quality carpet just laying on top. Everyone at Lennar was a pleasure to work with. I was not shy about what I wanted addressed and they addressed it all. Our home closed on time and each person from Sales to Construction was excellent to work with.

Our experience with Lennar financial staff was absolutely great, thank you for making things so smoothly, The building team was great as well thank you for everything and all the work. We love our new home..

Irresponsible project manager and low quality of workmanship. My worst experience ever from buying a new home in years.

The home was well done and in the time originally specified. The home buying consultant went above and beyond in every way. Can't say enough good things about her. Construction manager was very responsive to a couple of issues we noticed on closing day. Coming to SC from Ca. we were delighted with the home and it's price. Overall we are pleased with the home.

We were given the opportunity to "punchlist" the home and many of the items were either unaddressed or the tape marks remained after we moved in. The craftsmanship was really poor, as well as the quality of materials. The project superintendent talked down to all of us on the buyer side, including arguing over a clear code violation until it had to be escalated above his head. It was very clear that the priority was speed to market and margin over any sort of pride in their work or customer satisfaction.

My experience with Lennar professional people. Was the highlight of my moving in. Two weeks before I moved in my home. I had a walking through with the contractor David. He explained to me all the in and out of my home. From the inside to the outside. While walking through my home he had pointed out such things like the electric and water and what to notice about my home. If anything went wrong who to call. I had another walk through on the day before closing. I was introduced with another David this David gave me point on how to take care of my floors and where the emergency number if I ever needed help when the light went out or something going on with my gas range and tips on how to properly take care of my floors. Giving me tips on what to use and what not to use in order to get a better wearing out of them. He also pointed out name and numbers to call and where there numbers were location in my home if I ever needed them. They had made my day and move successfully. Building manager, onsite sales rep and local resources all went above and beyond. Lennar mortgage, they all sucked. Zero communication, always last minute needs, constantly asking for more information, for example they ran out credit via a hard pull three times in five months, and then asked us to explain why our credit was pulled, by them... Then when we rated them poorly the area manager or whomever called and tried to have us change the rating and twist the words so they looked like the good guys.

Gina, Alison and Ed were amazing to work with and truly made this experience seemless.

Contractor was always available to answer questions. The building process was explained thoroughly.

When you’re spending this much money on a brand new home, you don’t expect to have to do 2-3 months of repairs right when you move in, but that’s what had happened with us, even though we have been discussing these issues, and bringing up issues as the house was being built. Not only was our home delayed and not done correctly, the craftsmanship was HORRIBLE, and no one showed up to our closing. Lennar did not follow their own schedule that they sent us for closing, did not communicate when they didn’t show up for their own set appointments, warranty never spoke to us, even after rescheduling twice. When we brought up issues after having our lawyer finally complete the move, they pushed us off to warranty, who had been ripping our brand new home apart, trying to fix the garbage work that’s been done through the home. They seem totally overwhelmed with the amount of work that it is taking just to bring the home up to Lennar standards, and don’t have warranty crews that have the know how to fix these issues. Some of the things we have had to fix are cracked tub, massive bubbles in the wall-ceiling joints, 6 screws sticking out of the carpet (that sliced my daughters foot wide open), the carpet has been ripped up and never reattached or replaced, the front door had a huge gap underneath it, they have redone the master toilet room 3 times because the framing was so bad and was also missing a window (!!), the kitchen faucet was not ever attached correctly so it spins around, attic access in the attic never had a cover, bathroom plumbing not to code and leaked, bathroom vanity was completely smashed in the back near the plumbing (they didn’t cut out a hole they just took a hammer and smashed a hole so that the incorrect plumbing could come through), concrete is stained in weird crazy patterns on every piece (porch, sidewalks, driveway, back patio), and believe it or not the list goes on and on with the horrible sheetrock job, all of the ceiling joints ripple throughout the house, the nail pops, the handrails had to be replaced because they were digging into the walls and not flush, every outlet was so loose and crooked that you couldn’t plug things in, doorknobs were loose and several doors wouldn’t even latch because they were hung incorrectly. It has truly been a disaster moving in to a house with such horrible craftsmanship. Our contractor didn’t know what he was doing, when we would try to discuss anything with him he would just say what he thought we wanted to hear, and then do nothing. I feel that warranty has done their best to try to rectify the situation, she has been working hard and really is the ONLY person that I feel has had our backs. Everyone else seems to act like we the homeowners are causing them stress and headache, but it is not us the homeowners that built this mess. The house is very nice and overall has good craftsmanship, that said, I think it is over priced. The buying process was very painful and the sales staff disappear as soon as you are under contract. Good luck getting any issues addressed after closing.

Friendly sales and design team along with a building manager who keeps you updated through out. Communication on any issues were immediate and resolved when promised.

We had a great experience. I wish there were more design choices to personalize our home better from the start. But we love our house!

Has been almost two months and I still have issues not fixed with little communication. Finishing touches around the house were terrible. House was not cleaned prior to closing. Overall nightmare trying to actually make this house a home.

Sales guy wasn’t truthful. Townhome was not move-in ready. Follow up getting things fixed has been painful. President of Coastal Carolina was non-responsive. On-site builder Scott is truly a nice guy trying his hardest.

Lennar does a good job with its homes from start to finish- including financing.

Was throughly happy with the entire process. Like all builds there were bumps and bruises but at the end of the day we were very happy with our home!

Do not expect quality when you buy from Lennar.
