Lennar - Building manager, onsite sales rep and local resources all went

Building manager, onsite sales rep and local resources all went above and beyond. Lennar mortgage, they all sucked. Zero communication, always last minute needs, constantly asking for more information, for example they ran out credit via a hard pull three times in five months, and then asked us to explain why our credit was pulled, by them... Then when we rated them poorly the area manager or whomever called and tried to have us change the rating and twist the words so they looked like the good guys.

When you’re spending this much money on a brand new home, you don’t expect to have to do 2-3 months of repairs right when you move in, but that’s what had happened with us, even though we have been discussing these issues, and bringing up issues as the house was being built. Not only was our home delayed and not done correctly, the craftsmanship was HORRIBLE, and no one showed up to our closing. Lennar did not follow their own schedule that they sent us for closing, did not communicate when they didn’t show up for their own set appointments, warranty never spoke to us, even after rescheduling ...

Would not buy from Lennar again

The house is very nice and overall has good craftsmanship, that said, I think it is over priced. The buying process was very painful and the sales staff disappear as soon as you are under contract. Good luck getting any issues addressed after closing.

Friendly sales and design team along with a building manager who keeps you updated through out. Communication on any issues were immediate and resolved when promised.

Has been almost two months and I still have issues not fixed with little communication. Finishing touches around the house were terrible. House was not cleaned prior to closing. Overall nightmare trying to actually make this house a home.

Sales guy wasn’t truthful. Townhome was not move-in ready. Follow up getting things fixed has been painful. President of Coastal Carolina was non-responsive. On-site builder Scott is truly a nice guy trying his hardest.

Avoid Lennar. The house is still a construction zone 5 months after closing and follow up has been terrible. I will never buy another Lennar home.

The steps leading up to closing were great. The staff was engaged and responsive. Since closing, I have had several quality control issues with the home that have not been fixed despite being raised to Lennar for resolution. I think there is a clear gap in how they deliver continuous support after closing and it leaves a bad mark on the experience. The subcontractor interaction does not feel properly managed by lennar and becomes an almost home owner responsibility to manage the subcontractors. There has been high turnover in our after closing lennar support staff that may play a part but ...

The sales agent Kim was awesome, along with Andrew the builder and Michelle with follow up items post build. Great experience all around, and I am happy with the smart home features that were included in the build.

Rusty has been great he has gone above and beyond to try to get issues fixed. But the rest of the people that work for Lennar are just there for a check.

Our home is beautiful and I'm grateful to be here. Having said that, there is some inflexibility with the company in general. Despite an 11-month timeframe between contract signing and closing, we weren't allowed to add a bathtub when we asked just a few weeks after signing. We had a leak due to anchors for closet shelves being screwed into the stack (drain line from upstairs) that required floor and sheetrock removal. HVAC wasn't quite right and has required a few visits. Tile is in place, but the grout is weird and nothing is exactly level. I suspect our other issues are common with ...

I would never use the Lennar mortgage company again! Everything else, quality of the build, employees, supervisors, construction workers, missy and Jenny in the showroom office ALL of them have been 5 star all the way!

Andrew and his team did a great job with construction of our home. He was responsive to issues found, and had the quality of the home and happiness of the customer in mind at all times. Debbie and the sales team were great in helping us through the design process as well. Very good experience all around.
