We are very happy with our last home purchase. Our salesperson Karl, our Customer Service rep Isaiah who is absolutely the best and Missy our home construction contact were very communicative, attentive and resolved problems. The quality of the home is ok, homes sat for a while awaiting inspection due to the heavy building in the area. It's a stick home and you have very little or no options, you get what you get that is on that plot. Great open design and very accomodating for 55 over. They have a tremendous amount of activities and clubs and can't wait for the amenity center to be built. In today's environment the homes are priced competitively and they give you a nice product but we have had better experiences with building up north. while i love our new home, i do see some quality issues that seemed to have been missed. we will address at our 1yr walk through. however it would feel better had the majority of these been addressed prior to move in. as of now nothing too major, but attention to detail says a lot about ones craft, and they seem to have been lacking in some aspects. more so cosmetic, the "smart home" set up has been difficult, and why not install all of the ring functions they leave you with?? like i said small things that can be fixed, just not something you want to deal with after an EXPENSIVE purchase and moving in etc ... Excellent buying experience with Lennar and the closing agency.

Lennar was up front about everything and staff was friendly as well as helpful. Made our buying experience easy.

We loved Ashley (the Lennar rep who sold us our home), but their customer service department is not very responsive. We had several things that were not completed or in bad shape upon moving in and we still have not had those things repaired. We have been in our home since February of this year.

Overall experience was great. Had issues with quality of materials and of work from builders. A few issues we pointed out final walk through didnt get fixed & after closing half finished an issue we had.

We purchased a home in the village with a closing date of sept 15. Ashley was our sales person and was absolutely wonderful! The house had many issue on closing date that was supposed to be repaired before closing. We did a walk through the day of closing, with an extensive list.....2 weeks later nothing repaired, scheduled or communicated. I sent another email requesting communication. The warranty team followed up. Ken, Isaiah, and Hillary came by for another list. FINALLY, we have forward traction! I am hopeful things will be completed, moral of the story.........construction team is horrible, warranty team is awesome! ... More

The finish work in my home is horrible. Poor workmanship in regards to the wood trim and doors. Lack of time taken to measure properly. Lights hung with no apparent designated location. I have a wall that is 2 inches out of plumb from top to bottom. The interior paint job is the worst I've ever seen, all around.

The quality of the homes here are poor at best. Materials used are basic trac home quality. The tradesman have little to no skill set, and the superintendents are lacking people skills as well as professional development.

The process was easy and straightforward. The home was delivered in good shape and as promised. We wish there were drawers in the bathrooms but understand the cost saving of them not being there. I disliked the lack of communication between signing the contract and closing. The lender at Lennar Mortgage was very difficult to get in touch with but kind when we did speak with him. Overall it has been a good experience.

This was my first home buying experience and it was awesome! Everyone was very patient with me, informative and responded quickly. Chip, in my book was the most amazing! He went above and beyond on many occasions to make sure I was good and happy. He made me feel very valued by choosing lennar.

We had a great experience with our building manager, Mike! No major issues, but a couple of minor ones that we will wait to have fixed as more inconviences than issues.

The home buying process is not for the faint at heart but the Lennar team from sales to the lender were very helpful.

The home buying experience was satisfying

I bough without a realtor, and just me and the sales office. Karl was immensely helpful in his knowledge, responsiveness and chasing down answers for me. I used a private inspector who as you would expect found things during construction, and they were addressed promptly with personal high-touch interaction with Matthew and JD, my construction managers. Now, this was not my first rodeo, but even if it were, these folks did a very nice job.

Finance process was very frustrating

I'm sure others have covered all the typical pros & cons of the home itself. The one area I find highly frustrating is moving into a new home and it backs to a future phase that has been postponed. That land which many new homeowners view everyday since it's right in their back yard has piles of trash and debris 2 stories or higher. It also has mountains of dirt at least 3 stories high. There's more but I'll digress. My understanding is that it will be a year or more before anything is done with this mess. Lennar needs to address this in Horizon's at Summers Corner even if it's just removing the trash & huge steel containers and then leveling out the dirt. Anything would be an improvement to make this eyesore less painful to us new homeowners. ... More

Working with Lennar overall was positive. However, you have to understand what you are getting which is a quality spec home at a good price. You get what you get. They mass produce houses and you will have the occasional issue. Also certain things may or may not be included.

We love the floor plan. Was disappointed in 2 x 4 vs 2 x 6 studs. The build should have more insulation included. No major issues at this 3 months in. Closing was seamless. We hope to live here for many years.

I read a lot of reviews online about the horrors some people experienced with Lennar so I was a little concerned when purchasing my home in Carnes Crossroads in SC as they were the only builder. The whole mortgage process was very smooth and easy and we were informed and communicated with often. The build was also completed to our satisfaction with few items needing attention which were resolved quickly. Overall it was a good experience.

Overall we were happy with Lennar's homebuild and process. Our pre-drywall inspection according to our 3rd party was "well above average" - meaning it was done fairly well and only maintained a few critical issues. Getting these resolved required some follow-up but our construction managers were communicative and helpful to get the job done. Slight delays outside of Lennar's control caused rushing toward the end but no key items remained unresolved by closing. Again, I would recommend walking the site and staying on top of every step of the build. Some finishes could be nicer for the cost, specifically the builder-grade closet racks, mirrors, and cheap paint/unfinished garage. Would also love to see Lennar include more things in new-build purchases like towel racks/toilet paper holders; really simple and functional things are not included. ... More

There were delays in finishing the home, tied to the local government and permits being issued. What was troubling was that Lennar communicated a time frame that was not reliable. What was originally a late September closing turned out to be a late November. My recommendation to Lennar is to provide a time range for closing/completion, not a tentative date.

Great price on a quality home..Lennar mortgage caused some anxiety along with closing surprises and a little heavy handed on the closing..Lennar real estate agents were not very helpful..The house is built with quality materials.. overall I am satisfied

Workmanship on the home is marginal. I keep saying "is it cost/time effective to do it correct the first time?" that to keep coming back to repair the issue. Also, we've had experiences with warranty matters when we've been told the trade is scheduled to come out, they don't show or communicate.

in general, house is ok. service is ok. but just ok. Lennar can do it even better to become great. but you cannot expect that. because of Lennar build massive houses at the same time and want control cost as much as they can according to Lennar. the warranty team is good. always have quick response. most warranty issue are very minor things which they can avoid before house close if they want, you have to escalate and prove it according to the process steps over and over again which make you feel a little bit annoyed.
