Everything started off great then as it got closer to our home being finish built. No one communicated issues to us and little things that needed to be done were never finished. Got a lot of fast talk but no completion.

At our pre closing walk thru, we met with the construction manager and listed a number of things that needed attention. On the day of closing, we were told our construction manger had quit and a new man was on the job. There was a pile of debris still in the driveway and the yard was full of trash. The punch list hadn't been completed or addressed properly. By the time we arrived with the movers, the debris in the driveway was gone but the yard was still a mess. Numerous things in the house have yet to be completed. Based on this experience with Lennar, I wouldn't recommend this builder to anyone looking for a house to buy. ... More

We have had issues. Our foundation has sink spots so they are having to pull up our floor and pour concrete. Drywall work is also done poorly. I haven’t been too happy with how poorly some of the work was done. We had our own inspection done and are still waiting on some of the items to be fixed. We closed late Feb.

LENNAR is very responsive during whole process

They should get on the level of Dragas.

We have asked multiple times for help fixing our yard and have been ignored constantly. When we closed on our home we were told that if our yard needed to be re-sodded then they would take care of it since it was January when they laid it initially. Since then, we have asked for help and have not heard from anyone. They told my husband that the task was “too labor intensive” for them to do, so my husband ripped out the old sod himself to help speed up the process. When he did this he found concrete, drywall, metal stakes and so much more underneath our sod preventing it from growing that was carelessly left by the builders. Now we are asking for new sod to be laid and can’t seem to get help from anyone. ... More

I’ve been in my home three months now and I am identifying many craftsmanship issues. The homes are produced quickly so quality is lacking.

unfortunately not all the holes needed to hang the hurricane shutters were not drilled. wirering for "smart house" didn't match what AT&T require wirering for microwave oven was not connected concrete mix used in garage and front porch crumbles easily

Purchased our brand new Lennar home 2 months ago. Our new home is beautiful & exactly what we were hoping for until….. After being in the home for a week we noticed the A/C was having issues keeping The house cool. After several warranty calls/visits the issue is still not resolved. Hoping we will come to some kind of resolution soon.

We love our home, but Lennar could improve on resolving issues in a timely manner.

My lamps shake and rumble loudly when my wife walks in the master bedroom horrible built no firewall in the floors to keep noise quiet

Don’t get me wrong I love my community, and waverly home. The problems are the garage door is not sealed on one side, and the cement outside the garage door is uneven and slanted towards the garage so when it rains the water pools inside the garage. The curbing inside the garage is incomplete on one side. Curbing for 3 feet on one side then crumbles off. The tile outside the master shower door as well slants towards the shower, so when you take a shower the water pools outside the shower door. Outside the hose spigot housing gaps open at the top. While I like my home, there are several things that would make me not do it again. The inflexibility of when walk-throughs were scheduled was awful. No respect for the fact people work and are out of state. The house generally a nice house but the carpet used is cheap. I have terrible visible seems in every room. The bathroom vanity’s have no storage whatsoever. I would think with a house at this price point you it would be better, especially in the master. The area we have to get our mail is awful. Due to it being near so much construction, you can not go during the day or early evening. You must go after 7:30-8 so it isn’t blocked my construction folks. There is no light. It is very scary. For awhile I had to climb over the plastic barriers that were up. I find it unacceptable that I can not get to mail during the day or whenever I choose. Andy, our sales person, was great. We felt at ease with him during this purchase. We were disappointed when he was moved to another neighborhood because we felt we'd be out of sight and out of mind when it came to questions during the build. Andy still communicated with us regularly and advocated for us , even remotely. Unfortunately the person responsible for our build wasn't as good. He answered our requests and questions with answers he was unable or unauthorized to do. If we asked "can you do this...?" in our house, he'd say yes, then it wouldn't happen. When we continued to ask for updates he stopped answering texts, emails and phone calls. We learned later that he could not deliver on those promises. He's evidently no longer with Lennar. There are some significant quality of worksmanship issues. Drywall is nowhere near smooth, screws were showing in drywall (not "pops" - screwheads were visible), paint was not good enough- it looked like the paint was watered down in some places where the drywall was still visible. It was mostly just the trim and finish that should have been much better. All of the functions work fine. No electrical, plumbing, or structural issues. ... More

Our project manager was great to work with and very helpful since we were moving in from out of state. The warranty team has been a challenge to work with. They are very dissmissive and will not answer your questions directly.

Builder in a hurry to get property closed but no rush to fix issues with home.

Not a fan of materials used in any part of the home. The paint/ and workmanship was awful.

This is the 3rd New home I’ve purchased in the past 20 years. As a Military Veteran this was by far the worst attention to detail home I have owned. Wall outlets not all equal, carpets were dirty and full of saw dust. Professional cleaning not done. Walls have curves, windows not equal widths, air vents not in an enclosed bathroom, no air vent at the top of stairs where there’s a window. Pretty much these construction managers are slapping these homes together and not ensuring every detail is correct. For a $500K home, I expected better. Definitely not my forever home. The sales process was good. The inspection, home preparedness, and construction issues, I would give an F.

Good price. Good features. Good floor plans. Poor warranty service after move in. Still have a window that won’t lock after 4 months along with other issues. Poor workmanship.

The first home we were purchasing there was a mistake on the paperwork and they wouldn’t do anything about it. So we lost the house and they were nice enough to transfer our money to the new home but they failed to tell us that the property was not level and only that it was a little larger and that they would not do anything about it. Then when we had the first walk through we told them about some items and they told us they would have them fixed by the time the final inspection was complete but they lied about it and told us they had them fixed and or replaced but they lied to us again. Know that we are in the house and we have some issues they said they would fix them and they made an appointment but no one showed up and they were checking on them. ... More

Trim, paint and other final details of the “completed” home showed almost zero quality control. Oversprayed paint, poor paint coverage, dented, dinged and warped door jambs and trim.

We still have issues that have yet to be fixed since before we moved in. Getting ahold of anyone is impossible it’s like the got our money and we no longer matter

Don't believe everything that is told to you when buying a house.

Globs of cement all over garage floor. Globs o f cement between garage floor and beginning of driveway and a 2 inch height difference between garage floor and driveway leading to myself and guests tripping (very dangerous). Hardware missing on door lock to back porch. Masterbath shower drain corroded with tile red and white plaster :(totally unsightly). Cement splattered all over trim of outside garage door and all along front of garage where floor meets driveway, etc. One thumbs up nice quality kitchen appliances.
