Lennar is more interested in quantity not quality. To many repairs had to be done after final walk thru. Other repairs having to take place after moving in.

After the deposit was given, There were no changes/addition's allowed to the house.

This was our second purchase of a home with Lennar. This go round I was a little more disappointed than the first time to be honest. The builder the home was very smooth until drywall started going up. Several issues that were pointed out with drywall and paint whenever fixed. The major issues with our hot water stack was resolved which I’m very thankful for it.

It’s nice company and good price

For the most part good. However, the floor has some anomalies. Not even in all locations and caulking in bathroom is cracking. Finally, no instructions on operation of dishwasher. The dishwasher had no warranty information and appears to have been installed incorrectly. When dishwasher door is closed it is not straight. The whole thing with the dishwasher seems to be a lack of detail.

Experience of buying new home is Good

Make sure all issues are closed before closing. Expect to spend 10% (paint, kitchen pantry wire mesh, doors) more on fixing poor quality related work. Extremely pleased with the layout of the house including linen closet space. Excellent warranty service provided by Kelly, superfast and responsive.

We like the house models in Lennar and they use to response very quickly. We are enjoying the new home , please provide better quality

We really enjoyed working with Joe. He was the real face of Lennar for us. Always took the time to explain things and respond to calls and texts in a reasonable amount of time. I would work with Joe again and refer him to friends and family who are looking for a home!

Unable to reach anyone in construction on a Saturday despite the fact that our house under construction was flooding from a broken pipe.

Only issue is the abysmal site prep and landscaping on our lot. We have a pronounced drop off/slope in our backyard. We were advised that some basic ground covering could be expected come spring. Unfortunately all that appeared was clover and an assortment of weeds and nuisance grasses. Two trees were planted which didn’t didn’t survive to spring. Please be aware that Lennar does NOT provide any warranty on grass, plants, or trees after closing. If you have any concerns about greenery be sure to address those before you close.

We moved in winter 2021- our grass is terrible and Lennar does not warranty the lawn. My dishwasher didn't work. I have already had service on my dishwasher and stove and have only been in the house 3 months. They put cheap light fixtures in. We have replaced all the fixtures in the house (or should I say the boob lights). You can see sheet rock lines on the ceilings. The back siding was not finished - but Lennar did come back out to fix. I personally don't think I would by a lennar home in the future.

The home buying and building process was easy and pretty smooth overall. Lennar was pretty good about keeping me updated, addressing any questions I had, and addressing any issues that came up during the process. Have minor issues with dings and imperfections with paint/trim/molding finishes. A few minor issues popped up after closing and they were pretty responsive and quick to fixing those issues. One major pain point I am having issues with is in regards to landscaping, I have several dead patches throughout my lawn. Whoever Lennar used for landscaping laid down sod directly top of construction debris which prevents grass from properly rooting, I don't have to dig more than an inch on several dead spots to find fist-sized rocks or large chunks of cement directly underneath the sod. I wish they would've done their due diligence in properly laying down sod or at least rectify the issues after the fact. I think the process was great despite the delays, but that was to be expected mid pandemic. The quality of workmanship is very poor though. As we live here longer we see clear errors of workmanship whether it be low quality materials, lack of care, or inexperience by the workers. There are scuffs on trim painted over, bulges in Sheetrock, we have tons of nail pops (that we were told are not covered under warranty), caulking is splitting in multiple places (again, not covered under warranty). Other than these noticeable cosmetic mistakes and issues (that won’t be fixed because it’s not “covered”) the process was nice, the managers have been very nice as well. ... More

We love the house but not used to doing all paperwork on the computer

Lennar still builds the best home for the money in Waxhaw NC, but they need to get their act together on quality of work and ease of working with customers. My main suggestion is always pay the extra $500 to your personal home inspector for a complete report even though its a brand new house.

Building process went great with my builder, Clayton. After closing follow up has been difficult. Current construction in the neighborhood has trench my yard over and over, blocked my driveway on multiple occasions and I have had two flat tires driving through the neighborhood. My advice is to not buy when the neighborhood is still in process. The builder does not respect the already losed homeowners.

We love the community we’re in. Overall, the home is solid, but quality of some materials could be improved. Dry wall and trim work need more attention to detail. The one area of disappointment for us was flooring options. Only three choices to choose from and one of those was carpet (no way). Lennar offers what they offer and anything you want to add or make changes to is on you with after market costs.

Lennar responds quickly to any issues, however their resolution process is poor. These are not high quality homes, however they are priced appropriately for the product quality.

The home is above average in construction but there are a number of things that need to be fixed. The construction appears to have been rushed and a number of items still need to be done even though it has been a few months since closing. Trees that were promised to be replaced by the agent haven't been replaced. We were told it was too hot to replace them this past summer, but no effort has been made to replace them since summer. Always get things in writing, even though I didn't do thst.
