What you see (model home) is not what you get. Have a professional home inspector look into the quality of home before you sign closing docs and get issues resolved.

Home purchase was straightforward but issues occurred which required multiple follow-ups. A solid house however design features were not changeable to customize house to buyer. Amenities were not shown to buyer but alluded to in literature and lacking in important areas such as beach access for community on the lake.

The sales staff made the process seamless and the warranty staff handled issues quickly and completely.

Check every detail before accepting the house. Everything is NOT included. Many problems with the subcontractors' quality and workmanship. Lawns are especially rough.

THE HOUSE WAS GREAT THE YARD WAS TERRIBLE. ADDRESSED THE ISSUE AT CLOSING AND NOTHING IS BEING DONE ABOUT IT!

The customer representative have been good. But there still opportunities where it could be imp like keeping marketing documents up to date so that customers know what will they be getting post closing.

I got no help with the sales office. Even though the house had just begun, I was not allowed to make any selections at all.

Very average home buying experience.

Trades need to do better a better job, too many things done poorly. Issues with windows, siding, stove, dishwasher, shower head, deck, painting, flooring, gutters, concrete, masonry, landscaping, sod placement, grading of soil, etc. etc. Sad most things should have been caught and fixed well before we closed. Many things I will end up doing/fixing myself.

Lennar is not good at communicating. There was no contact that wasn’t initiated by me, even when there are problems with the build or closing. And even when I did hear from them, they frequently didn’t provide all the information needed/required. I am happy with the house but feel like many of my grey hairs can be tied directly to trying to get Lennar to tell me what was going on with the house.

Please make sure you check everything!

Bare minimum upgrades in spec homes Phase one of the neighborhood has better upgrades/options.....their motto is Its all included And that was not the case- there were no window treatments, refrigerator or washer and dryer included.

I purchased a new construction D. R. Horton property in June 2018. I decided to upgrade to a larger home and purchased a Lennar home in November 2019. The longer I live in the Lennar home I realized D. R. Horton is a better quality builder. The Lennar quality is just not there. The drywall is so thin you can't hang a lightweight picture without reinforcement. The wood flooring has several chips in places my family and I could not have damaged it. For example behind the toilet in the half bath. The ceiling still shows major flaws, corners of walls, not really corners have curves. The lawn is ridiculously rocky and literally have trash under the glass. I believe the yard should have at least been clean before laying sod. The agent was amazing and she worked out a fantastic price. Worked with us on our time table to sell old house and was just an overall great person. The neighborhood is top notch and is the primary reason to move here. However!! The workmanship on the model home shows they rushed it and cut many corners. Flooring is uneven, ceiling dry walking was poorly done, Ethernet runs are bad, rokus access points are pointless, base boards already coming off and random holes where dry wall should meet in tiny corners. We knew what we were getting and accepted it. They just should have never built it this rushed. I would have Lennar build next time. ... More

Take time to slow the process down and inspect your home properly.....

Nice brand new home but you'll notice quickly that the materials used are not high quality!

Whoever put up the drywall on our home is terrible. Pop up nails everywhere. We can see the repairs on the ceiling. Bad cover up job.

I am experiencing some poor craftsmanship on the house. Some of the items that were completed for the punch list were done poorly. After the side walk was removed the yard was not graded very well and had several leaks in the irrigation system. I am having difficulties with the HVAC cooling the house properly. I have hundreds of small flies that get in at night and they cannot seem to know where they are coming in. The person that came in with the window and door company was worthless. All of the door locks have issues constantly. Yu have to slam the door to get one to work and then try to get the other one to latch after that. It's a constant irritation! If things need to be level, this will drive you crazy. There are multiple areas that just aren't level, the bathroom countertop slants down and if you put anything down that has a chance to roll, it will roll off. Clearly the trim paint used in the model is MUCH different than what you get. The master bathroom fan constantly sounds like you have dripping water coming down. They have been good about responding to issues, but I wasn't pleased that I immediately had to open service requests within 5 minutes of getting the keys. The Quality of House is great, but when it is thrown together in minimal time it loses it's Luster. We're continuously finding major/minor defects. Crooked walls, creaking floors that seem as if not completely nailed down, sink stopper that won't stay connected... In the yard multiply holes and ridges from unsuitable rolling of the grass, regularly finding pieces of metal and rocks under the non growing grass. Responsiveness to issues maybe prompt, but a better or additional title would be "Accomplishment of Issues in a Timely Manner". The spokesperson is always available, but as the middle voice has no authority to getting anything done. Just an opportunity to separate, pause and create an allusion of things could possibly being accomplished. Love the House and Area, but Sadden & Disappointed in the Lack of Attention to Detail & Quality, over a focus of Quantity in the Quickest of time. ... More
