Great to work with. It was a manageable experience

My family and I are very satisfied with the look and feel of the house. There's only a couple of things I wish were bigger or included such as a bathtub connected to the shower in the master bathroom. Also the garage should've been bigger since it's a two car garage. I still have two remaining issues that I need to report (1) driveway has a crack on the concrete that was there when I moved in (2) one of the sinks in the master bedroom has a hairline fracture in the sink.

Trades need to do better a better job, too many things done poorly. Issues with windows, siding, stove, dishwasher, shower head, deck, painting, flooring, gutters, concrete, masonry, landscaping, sod placement, grading of soil, etc. etc. Sad most things should have been caught and fixed well before we closed. Many things I will end up doing/fixing myself.

Everyone I was in contact with couldn’t have be more thorough, kind, patient and efficient.

I like the house. It's nice

While they offer options some builders don’t Lennar didn’t offer some options that we had preferred ie gas hot water heater, electrical floor outlets in the family room, lighting in second bathroom shower, ceiling fans and pendant lights over counter.

It's good place to staying

I had a great experience with the lennar builder.

Make sure your yard is level and the sod is weed free before you close. The landscaping company (sub-contractor) did a terrible job, knows it, and doesn't care about fixing it.

Fully explained the process and kept us updated on progress. Completed on time.

The home buying process with Lennar was excellent. They stayed on schedule during the Covid as best they could.

I found Lennar to be a fair and trustworthy builder. Solid workmanship and a good value. All of the people I dealt with were knowledgeable and seemed to genuinely cate about the product and about me as a customer. I would buy from them again.

contractors doing the work were terrible. way too many things needed to be fixed after closing

My sales rep and general contractor were great to work with.

We would’ve liked more upgrade options (e.g. windows in garage door, an ext. doorway to garage, a light over kitchen sink, higher quality kitchen cabinets and drawers, base cabinets with drawers vs. doors, electrical outlets in floor, exterior stonework on front of house, double hung vs. single hung windows).

Seeing other family and friends build houses right now, it's crazy to see them charged for things that were included in our home. It was an easy experience and would look to use them again if we decided to build in the future.

Make sure you get a great inspection and let them fix all the issues before closing

Lennar is not good at communicating. There was no contact that wasn’t initiated by me, even when there are problems with the build or closing. And even when I did hear from them, they frequently didn’t provide all the information needed/required. I am happy with the house but feel like many of my grey hairs can be tied directly to trying to get Lennar to tell me what was going on with the house.

The new warranty system sucks

Trust is an expensive item that Lennar can't afford. Lennar Doesn't care about buyers, they only care for their balance sheet. 1. I bought the house thinking there is a free tennis court in the community, they advertised it on the website. But to my dismay, it was a pickleball court. When I reached out to the builder they removed the ad but told me that I should have inspected the community to verify what's included and what's not. 2. Each and every staff begged for giving a good review as they told their bonus depends on that I obliged that will couple of good reviews. 3. Even after multiple requests during the walkthrough the house wasn;t clean. I found close of 100 nails in the house/garage but still I gave them good reviews. 4. For 2400 residents they have one small pool & gym. which they advertise like its big thing. Why don't you let the buyers know that the gym is going to be used by 12 communities? In general, Lennar is a pricey and greedy builder, they are not trustworthy. I wouldn't recommend this to any of my friends.
