From the time you choose a home until the time you move in Lennar is best in the business. The things after closing need a little help - like things that were pointed out during the walkthrough but missed in the repair - hard to get someone to care.

To many issues is 60 days and less than stellar appliances! Leaking roofs tripping electrical issues (thank you Marie for helping with that)and I will never own any Fridgedare appliance ever again! Gas range that is questionably safe every time I lean over to put food in the microwave the gas knobs on the stove turn on and I won’t be doing much broiling that’s for sure! The dryer has no light inside and no windows just a solid door! Although the refrigerator is now working fine it took 3 of them before I could say that! Thank you Michal for helping with that!

The buying process was very quick and smooth. The quality of materials and workmanship can be better. Nail marks are already beginning to pop through the sheet rock and the home is only 2 months old. The walls seem paper thin. It’s been difficult getting in touch with anyone from Lennar.

We were impressed with Lennar homes from the get-go. They were one of the first developments we looked at with our realtor. We looked all over Statesville and could not find a better deal on any new homes. We’re very happy with our decision and hope that we have a Long enjoyable life in our new home.

The quality is not the best. Poor finishing touches. Not being able to add add on's is ridiculous. It makes us hire after the fact which is more expensive. Cabinets are cheap and small. Very disappointed.

I wouldn’t trust Lennar to build a tiny home for a dog. Let alone another home for me. The saleswoman lied and was terrible, the construction team lied and made excuses for everything, the craftsmanship of this entire home is complete trash. We requested our earnest back when the backyard fell in and were told no- when you all to date have done nothing to fix it. The soil is so terrible back there the trees behind the home can’t even withstand a normal rainy day.

I can Compare 2 builders within 3 years

We worked with another builder back in 2021. Worksites were messy along with sloppy workmanship. Floors on one level were so bad that it took 8 months for them to replace. Pipes backed up due to building material in them. Front door had to be repainted 4 times; we finally had a professional do. No quality control. Lennar was a breath of fresh air with organization, quality control, detailed spelled out warranty service and excellent walkthrough after completion then before closing. Nice house...but

Was happy to move in until we needed heating. We had no heat. It took 3 repairman to figure out the problems. 1. Heating was set up for heat pump and we should have been set up for gas. 2. Had a shut off valve that kept overheating. 3. The reason the valve was overheating because the blower for the exhaust was blowing into the condensation drain. Causing a loud noise in the laundry room and not venting the gases away. This makes me believe other problems will arise due to lack of follow through by quality ensurance.

Good Home / Bad Mortgage Experience

We felt very rushed through the entire experience, Lennar mortgage dropped the ball on numerous occasions and left us wondering if the transaction was going to close. We were rushed through the final walk through process and was forced to accept the home as it was, and were left with numerous issues with damaged appliances, damaged cabinets, incomplete and poor drywall and paint finishes. All of which had to be remedied after closing via a warranty claim. There are still numerous items that have yet to be resolved, almost two months later. Our recent purchase of a home from Lennar, unfortunately, was far from smooth experience. While the house itself is okay, though we had to point a few things to repair in 2 external inspections and 2 walks we did before closing; the whole process of buying was frustrating. Lennar offered no flexibility on anything — from minor adjustments to deadlines, there was little room for negotiation or understanding. Was impressed with the overall process from contract signing to loan closing, the timing was exceptional. My loan officer was extremely cordial and worked the processes throughout smoothly and kept me informed. The concierge service doesn't seem to be any benefit to customers or the company, at least to me personally. No follow up and untimely responses unfortunately. Responsiveness to issues does not apply to sales or lending otherwise it would be a 5 star.

My husband and I moved from Suffolk County, New York and are extremely happy in our new home and neighborhood. The house is beautiful, there is so much natural light that you can’t help but smile. Lennar home quality and my experience

The finish work on Lennar homes is sloppy and the materials used are cheap. I have had to replace 4 lights in the 4 weeks I have lived in the brand new home because the lights are of poor quality. The front door is already coming apart and the dishwasher has a work order in to be repaired. The upstairs floors pop when walking across them. The materials used in Lennar homes are inexpensive and will not last the life of the home. I will have to spend my own money to replace all of the recessed lights because they are bad quality. These are things that should not be breaking in a brand new home.
