No kind of spare materials left. Shoddy work with damaged stuff with multiple holes put in kitchen cupboards and on raising it as issue, was justified saying this is all fine and put in model house

Bigoted contractor with subpar craftsmanship

The GC (T) was very responsive in all emails UNTIL we met in person and, in our opinion, saw the buyers were a same sex married couple. From that point on he wouldn’t even talk to my husband and I when we had issues. He would only talk past us to the other Lennar associates. He would not even make eye contact and would walk 10ft ahead of us while TRYING to discuss issues. A total of 3 separate offensive interactions. I voiced my issues to the Lennar staff and my realtor about wanting to be done and pull out. Then magically T was artificially friendly and personable. I’m glad I did a 3rd party ...

The microwave was not installed for our inspector to check it. They installed it last minute and left 2 screws out and unaligned. They didn’t let us blue tape the house and A LOT of the issues we asked to be fixed just weren’t. The construction manager worked by himself to fix those and we had to come back the same day to approve it. Overall, the quality of the home is not good. The construction manager is extremely passive aggressive. During the choosing the exterior colors, the sales representative said the white siding was not available anymore and we had to go with the lien color. ...

It was a nice experience The Angie sold us the home was exceptional and the project manager was good. You'll find little things thats wrong but nothing major so far and overall I'm happy with my purchase the neighborhood is nice.

The entire experience went so smooth. Everyone from Lennar were great to work with. Lennar took care of everything very quickly and responded quickly to any issues after closing, like door lock adjustment or missing a rod for our blinds. We only had minor issues. I would highly recommend a Lennar home!

Terrible warranty service

I love our new home but when it comes to Lennar taking care of simple issues that were clearly caused by them don’t expect much after closing. McKenna who is the Lennar employee responsible for processing the warranty repair’s is rude and unprofessional. For example she disagreed with an issue stating that it’s cosmetic and after speaking to her on the phone she AGREED TO COME OUT AND LOOK AT IT IN PERSON BUT STATED SHE WAS STILL GOING TO DENY IT even before seeing it in person. Since I don’t have an any good words about the loan officer(s) that were assigned to me. I will say the managers and underwriting team ans well ans the crew who did walk the through and inspection ,especially the onsite rep who was phenomenal. They made this experience so much better than after the shamockery with loan officers and this played a part in the score and success of a close.

Overall, our experience with Lennar was subpar. The number of issues found during our inspection was alarming, but the worst part was the pushback from Lennar when it came to fixing or addressing these issues. I had to create a punch list and consistently follow up with the construction manager to ensure things were getting done. During the final walkthrough, numerous issues were discovered, yet I was assured that Lennar’s QA process would leave the house practically turn-key. Unfortunately, this was far from the truth. Very unprofessional and inexperienced construction managers with zero value addition or supervision. Subcontractors are all free to do or not to do what they want or not want.

Everything has been Great except for the grass.

There is one issue i am still waiting for the superintendent Daniel to resolve. That is the dead grass, at the orientation we asked about the dead grass and he informed us the grass was installed when it was cold then it turned hot so the grass was not doing good and then said they were going to fertilize and airate it. the following week when we closed the grass still looked dead so we asked him about it and he said he would continue watering it and would send an email (never got ) regarding the grass. My experience was ok. My home is wonderful. Even though it was delayed by water issues. My biggest complaint about my home buying experience is my lawn is horrible. The lawn was put in with no water and now it’s dead. By the time I’m finished getting it right I will have spent a ton of money for something that should have been done correctly to start by Lennar. An absolute travesty.

We are beyond disappointed after spending half a million dollars on a home where the walls aren’t square, nail pops all over the house, the pendant lights are not center over the bar, and we have nothing but dead grass outside. Awful experience. Wouldn’t do it again, and I wish we backed out of the deal.
