I have only been here for 6 weeks and the problems I found have been fix except for appliances, backyard rubble the builders are letting fly into my yard. So I think ill let you know more in 6 months.

I am very unhappy with my buying experience with Lennar. The mortgage team had trouble compiling documents, requested the same documents multiple times, had to close twice as they provided incorrect forms, etc.

The home buying experience was the best I have had. This is my third home and I can say that it was the best out of the three. They have an orientation for the home where they explain how to take care of your home and applicances. New homes come with a few issues here and there and they have been more than willing to help in a timely manner.

Within a week my house has nail pop, cracks in the walls and don’t get me on the easy to stain flat paint they use. You fall in love with the model they show you and then they decide to tweek little things like 4 led lights in the dining room instead of the one so I can put a chandelier like I thought I could. I thought I was getting a decent size laundry room and the darn room can barely fit my washer and dryer. Not mulch for decor, just cheep pine needles. The house probably costs a little over 100,000 to build and we paid 445,000 for it. Worse thing is, is that they make is so after 30 ...

We love our new home. We love the floorplan and the covered deck. The construction supervisor was extremely knowledgeable and made sure the issues found by our home inspector were taken care of before closing. After the closing we found a crack in the tub surround and they promptly had it repaired by a very experienced vendor. The one negative - they should paint the baseboards with semi-gloss instead of flat paint.

Lennar lending was the worst experience I’ve ever had to deal with. Took 5 days past first closing date to actually close. Kept coming up excuses to why they could not get paperwork done. Suggestion to company make one contact point throughtout the whole process to many hands involved with the process definitely Lennar inner communication was none.

Sales team are pathetic

Sales team are pathetic and from our perspective and the experience we went through they seem to be racist and biased. First we confirmed a home with specific direction for a price, but next day it was allocated for another person saying the other buyer paid them high price. They did not give a chance for us to bid and see the result. Again we had to wait for another home but with a compromise of direction and location as we wanted a home in the community due to friends.

Lennar Windhaven Tegacay - Not a good experience

Houses are built of poor quality and lot of cosmetic issues. Honestly this is my first time home purchase and I went with lennar since it's a good brand but very disappointed for the price that I paid. Lennar's mantra is 'Everything is Included' but they did not offer me a single extra thing I have asked for. Considering the price I paid this house is not worth it

i had issues with lennar mortgage... but once lennars real estate agent found out he immediatly started the process to fix the wrongs.. David was extroridnarly effective an helpfull. from that point on i would give Lennar 10 stars if i could.. once the closeing finished we were completly overwhelmed with the quality, professionalism, and compasion Lennar showed l.. i would recommend them 100%.. The lennar mortgage company well i had issues with them, maybe you wont so you can try then them make your opinion...

The initial buying process went well. However, after I signed the purchase contract, I had to follow-up after no responses regarding the inspection. I definitely did not feel I received the red carpet treatment as expected after making such a big investment. Lennar short cuts at every opportunity…no mirror in the powder room, no light fixtures throughout home, including over the mirrors in each of the bathrooms (except undesirable one in dining room). Review of items prior to closing was combative and rushed. I was appalled that Lennar did not offer a printed copy of the warranty manual.

The overall buying process was truly terrible. The sales representative didn’t seem confident in our ability to get approved. We spoke with 2 different loan officers who provided us with different information. When we ran into miscommunication issues about our initial approval, our sales representative was ready to cancel our contact as if she didn’t want to deal with us. We had to escalate our issues to management for issues with sales team and loan team. We were asked to provide additional funds for closing which was told hours before. Before closing house was not deeply cleaned. Issues with land scaping. Rain water damaged the backyard two times. Not sure about the future. They did not give any sample of colors.

From beginning to end our home buying experience with lennar was disappointing. When we bought the property in November we were told an August finish date and everything was delayed till December the following year. During the time from putting our initial deposit and signing the contract to breaking ground there was no form of communication from anyone representing lennar. I was told I had to rewrite this because my first review was too strong. Our home buying experience was less than satisfying. Our salesperson, once the papers were signed, disappeared. Many emails and text messages were ignored. Not very comforting. We even recommended that a friend buy in the neighborhood. They did. Do you think it may have been nice if our salesperson reached out to us and said thank you for the referral. Of course not. We will move again for sure. But if this salesperson has anything to do with our next development, we will move on.

Communication from the mortgage branch was spotty, didn't know I was approved for a loan until just a few days before closing, after more than five months of back and forth. Pleased with the home itself other than the landscaping, sod was put down in a haphazard manner, large gaps still prevalent, a rough ride for any type of mower--very disappointing

I’m impressed overall with the quality of building and don’t see a lot of shortcuts or compromises. I was pleasantly surprised for example to see a hybrid heat pump with a gas heat, a comprehensive insect control system installed during the construction process, a whole basement dehumidifier with automatic pump and the like. I was a bit disappointed that red clay was tracked all over the basement during construction and is nearly impossible to remove with muriatic acid followed by recommended floor cleaner.
