Beautiful dream home but be careful

Our home is our dream home. It was almost too good to be true. We haven’t had any issues with the workmanship of the house. However. Closing was extremely stressful. From our paperwork being incorrect to extremely big difference of our down payment. Like 5k difference. Make sure you are checking each line item to make sure they are in the right spots. We had a few line items on the builders side which ended up screwing us over in the end.

Would like to start with the good, Dylan, Kimberly, and Tina made the home buying process easy. Jason who oversaw the construction of the home was great as well and made sure we got our keys on the date we were promised. Now once construction is done Lennar doesnt seem as responsive. I have had concrete pieces sitting in my yard killing the grass for over a week from street repairs. I was told by Lennar it is the cities responsibility whom I called and they said they have done final inspection so they aren't responsible. So no one seems to want to clean up the mess a Lennar contractor made? ...

Moving from out of state, we looked at Lennar homes., while visiting family in South Carolina. We went back home to Florida and received a call about a great deal. Our mistake was we didn’t realize going from one development to another also meant lower quality construction, amenities and finishes. The salesman stated the home price dropped, but to make up for it Lennar gave us unfinished garage, no garage door opener, and lower grade materials then what they had in the other areas and was shown on the app they asked us to download. Various items on the app were incorrect and not available ...

There was no hardware in any of the bathrooms. I had to go out and purchase and then install toilet paper holder, towel rack, etc. such a pain. I feel you cut wherever you could. Make it feels cheap

I feel that you took the cheap way out when you could. For example no hardware in any of the bathrooms. I had to purchase and install towel bars, toilet paper holder etc. cheapens the whole experience

Yard issues, roof drainage issues onto walkway

The yard overall is below average, numerous dead grass spots, grading on three sides is very uneven with depressions unusually deep and makes it hard to walk on due to how uneven it is, have seen the other Lennar neighborhood in Loris I was considering and was impressed with the yards there so was expecting same. The walkway from front door to driveway is not usable during heavy rain as tge roof water explodes off the roof in a few areas and douses the walkway. The interior is fine so far and the hvac, plumbing and electrical has all been good so far, the overall product for the cost ...

Scott made our home buying experience wonderful. He is professional, patient, and knowledgeable of all the homes and all of the areas in Myrtle Beach. He listened to all our concerns in what we were looking for and took us on tours of several communities. He understood that we had to sell our house in order to buy a house with Lennar. He walked us through the whole process and was very patient and encouraging when we had a hiccup with our seller. We are so happy that we met Scott.

Overall disappointed with this purchase, starting with the closing day. Documentation was not available until the afternoon prior to closing and it showed a charge for taxes not due. Amount due at closing was not as agreed. The paint in the whole townhome is basic, low quality, whole townhome needs to be repainted. Garage is very small, you either park your car or place the trash can in it. Bathroom cabinets have no drawers. There were no finishing items in bathrooms, like toilette paper holder or towel holders. The AC unit outside if very loud and noisy and it is placed next to main bedroom ...

Fist i would like to say i love my home and are very happy here. But the start of the buying was a bit rough. I understood i had the house with the first guy then another guy got involved and stopped everything which caused a problem with my cash transfer then ended up with a different girl finished the sale. But all ended well (did cost me a couple of thousand with a-bb and flight)

We home searched several used homes in the area, but just couldn’t find the right home that didn’t need a lot of updates. Then our realtor took us to Brunswick Plantation. We worked with Ethan who showed us the model home then to the available homes of our interest to purchase. Ethan was great calling/ texting and answering all of our questions. He was friendly, readily available, knowledgeable about the homes and it was a NO pressure sales experience. Poorly built homes

The homes in our development are pure junk. The developer used the cheapest materials possible everywhere. Many neighbors already had issues with pipes, smoke detectors, heater, roofs, cracked foundations etc. I just found out we have a heat pump instead of a gas heater. We have paint spots everywhere. Our floor has a piece home out in the 2nd day. They incorrectly marked our property lines by more than 3 feet along the entire back and didn’t put grass there. Our front property marker is actually under the sidewalk.

My husband and I traveled South in Oct. 2025 to look at new home developments here in Conway.. We fell in love with the area, and with Kingston Oaks..We are semi retired, and we wanted a home with low maintenance, and with a nice open floor plan.. Our sales agent Scott was great to work with and he accommodated us with all of our needs. We love our home and look forward to spending time here with friends and family.
