My countertops were ruined in between the final walkthrough and my move in date. The cleaning crew was horrible and left streaks from a dirty rag on my white countertop. This left brown streak on my counter that after multiple cleaning attempts from Lennar can still be seen at the right angles. There’s was and still is paint all over everything from the paint “touch ups”. There is still tape from the yellow tape walkthrough on my walls. My floor is starting to gap between the planks.

This was the single most stressful situation of my life with next to no help from the builder/lender/title company (Lennar in all instances). My husband does not do email or anything electronically, so I had to do it in both our names. We decided the day before Thanksgiving that we wanted to buy the house. They called me and told me the initial loan application must be submitted before midnight in order for them to honor our agreed purchase price. I spent hours online trying to do that. I even received help from the Lennar Representative on property. She stayed on the phone with me until after midnight. Again, this is the night before Thanksgiving when we both should have been cooking. That was only the beginning. I was inundated with electronic paperwork coming to both me and my husband until we closed on 12/23. So for a month I did this. The biggest frustration probably was tge Docusign paperwork, which might normally be a good way to handle online paperwork, but in my case doing it for both of us it created much confusion and frustration. Each Docusign would come in each name and each one would have an access code. It was all coming to my android email that received email for both of us, so I could not tell which access code was for which document or which code was for my document or his. Several times they requested documents that were difficult to access or wouldn't download and no screenshot or picture was acceptable. Several times I went to the Lennar sales office and the nice lady there helped me. It also took her quite some time to complete the tasks and not without difficulties. At least once or twice she herself had to call the loan officer for assistance because it was so difficult. Each time, near the end of the process the loan officer would tell me if I didn't get it in by a certain time we would not close on the day we were scheduled to close. Each time I stopped whatever else I was doing to complete the documents he needed. I missed Dr. appointments, pulmonary therapy, and Holiday events with my grandchildren.When we finally thought they had everything they needed.and we were scheduled to close on 12/19, they wanted more. I was told if it wasn't submitted by 3:30 p.m we would not be able to close the next day. I hot it in before 3:30. Then I heard nothing from anyone about where are when to go for closing. No one would answer the phone after hours of course, The next morning I called the local rep from the sales office and she didn't know anything. I called the Loan officer and he wasn't available at first, then he didn't know when we would close. I called the cobtact at the Title company and she didn't know. They said maybe Tuesday, maybe Wednesday, on Christmas Eve! I told tgem wecwere not closing on Christmas Eve, we had family plans. This is Friday before Christmas on the next Thursday. We were planning to drive from Central Texas to Central Oklahoma to spend Christmas with our daughter's family and our grandson who was 1½ and we only had seen him twice. Lennar told me if we delayed the closing we would have to pay a 2%(I believe) fee for late closing. We canceled our travel plans and waited to hear when we were supposed to close. Again, no word by the end of day on Friday the 19th. Monday morning the 22nd I woke up and started calling people. Again no one knew when we would close. We were supposed to have traveled over the weekend and we still weren't sure when we would. Finally, before the end of the day someone called to tell us to come the next day, 12/23. We scheduled a time to be there and they called the next day and told us a different time. I told them we were on our way and should arrive by our appointment time and they said it was OK, we could come whenever, they had availability anytime. When we got there we were taken to a room just us and a few minutes later a Notary arrives. No one else! Not one person from Lennar showed up at our closing! The very first paper she gave us, I had questions, and the Notary said she couldn't answer any questions so I called the loan officer. I thought he might be in the same building because all of their offices were there. He informed me he works from home, (I knew that from the child and pet noises always in the background) and could not come. We were pushed and pressured to meet deadlines in order to close on the 19th, then it was delayed until 2 days before Christmas with threats of a penalty if we didnt close on that day, and not one person from Lennar could be bothered to show up. It was supposed to be a really exciting and happy day, but it was very disappointing and anticlimactic. Then the earnest money we were supposed to get back required electronic documents as well. I had the original contract to purchase 205 Donnington Dr Hutto TX 78634 for $324,700. There was some issue identified, during the process of purchase.. I was stuck on multiple issues on post inspection.. were worried to move forward. The builder without acceptance of refund or acceptance in signature. Cancelled the contract. Later one week esclated and reengaged in contract for same home with $15,000 penalty higher in price, its sold to me at $339,750. Now this situation is escaltaed to local attorney, I am in process of court action and serve notice to Lennar in middle of Feb26.

From the start, the builder was great to our requests. But I don’t know why there is a concierge! She did nothing really to help. The salesperson was okay and a little helpful. Some of the items we were promised did not happen as far as getting the home ready just prior to closing. Everything pretty much is online; not very personal. Like I said, the best person was the contractor in charge.

They installed a leaking dishwasher TWICE. The repair person they sent out no called/ no showed THRICE!

I have lived in this community since November and, while it is a pleasant neighborhood, it is still in the early phases of development with ongoing construction and new residents moving in. I chose a Lennar home because it was the most financially practical option; however, I am disappointed with the overall quality and craftsmanship. I previously purchased a Lennar home in Houston in 2019 with comparable square footage and bedrooms, and the difference in build quality is noticeable. Despite higher home prices in this market, the current home feels extremely standardized, with minimal design variation and limited functionality. The stand-up shower is very small, and there is a lack of storage throughout the home, including no linen closet. Given the purchase price, I expected a higher level of craftsmanship and thoughtful design. Compared to prior Lennar builds, buyers are now required to make significant upgrades post-purchase to improve livability and resale value. I am sharing this feedback for consideration in future builds, as I believe there is an opportunity to better align quality and design with buyer expectations. ... More

It was a great experience during the process, the house was delivered 15 days later than the plan time but besides of that everything was great, please always be aware of price reductions because sometimes when you buy the house the price can be up or down and lennar helped us to reduce it despite the price was higher, the house has not luxury materials but we are so happy living here, I will definitely recommend lennar to all my friends.

this experience has been seamless and exciting. Lennar helped me through every step of the way and allowed me to be a first time homebuyer.

Its cheap quality no power outlet for kitchen iland no lock for bed rooms and master bath room no internet outlet , you need to make a hole to any wall to get internet connection no response from lennar support team except virtual visit which cannot resolve anything worst finishing on front porch and back patio no blinds for back patio door no water softener loop no gutters

Stan and NaShae were wonderful and extremely helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. This is my first home purchase, they led the way. After move in, Sean and the construction team are kind and just as responsive. They are helpful with any warranty requests and even general questions. The team at Cottonbrook has made this process far less stressful and very pleasant.

we’ve been in our home for a little over a month and so far we’ve been well pleased. It is a simple tract home but we’ve done several adds to make it our own. It would have been nice if there was a loop on the water line to make the installation of a water softener more convenient. The buying process was simple and straightforward al the way through the closing. I’ve reached out to Lennar on a couple of occasions about some small issues and they were very responsive.

This is my seventh house I bought and it was the worst experience in everything from home selection, loan process, delays in moving into the home, discovering poor workmanship and a losing battle with fire ants.
