Average builder but cost effective

I like the quick response to any issues with the house. The repairmen were very courteous and professional.

Overall the experience was great. I got all the details and information needed regarding the home, community, design options, what's included and other details. When it came to selecting the actual home that I wanted to purchase, I was told it was available and then I was told it was not. Looks like the sales team were not very coordinated in terms of home being available in the market vs who was working on it. This is very necessary when a client is being told the home is still in the market.

The quality of the home, in my opinion was done in a hurry, therefore using cheaper materials to build the house faster and hoping the new homebuyer will not pat attention to details. The appliances that come with the house are inexpensive and of poor quality. The floors are not properly glued, the carpets are not installed correctly causing you to step on nails. No door bell chime installed, garage not painted, no linen closet, or towel racks. Landscaping half done, meaning some grass is green and other is brown. I feel too many houses are built at once and in a hurry to sell therefore using cheaper materials which in the long run I believe will cause major issues for new homeowners. ... More

My experience with most of their employees was 5 stars. Helpful and attentive with a "call, if you have any questions."

I purchased two properties. First one had a massive hvac leak causing ceiling damage within 30 days of purchase. Second one, wren we moved the cooking range to clean, we found the area behind that was not caulked or treated properly. Both cases, we had to submit warranties claim,. First one was fixed quickly. Waiting for response on second one since claim was recently submitted

The experience was fast and great. Did have some issues with the consultant at the start of picking our new house. It worked out for the best. When choosing our house the advisor rep that showed us told us everything included but towards the end she did not add it to the addendum as promise. I spoke to the concierge and other reps and they got it resolved and got me what was originally promised. I’m loving the new house.

For us all the process was very smooth.

As a 1st time homebuyer we were so intimidated to purchase a home. Had we known how easy the journey was, and how great our agents and Lenders were going to be that work for Lennar, we would had started this journey a long time ago! I highly recommend anyone looking to purchase your 1st time home or even if it’s not your 1st home, to buy from Lennar. The Warranty process gives our family such a peace of mind that we can live comfortably in our home.

As with any home purchase their were hiccups however the Lennar team got us through them with great service

Home buying went good but after one week in new home we had a plumbing backup. Found out it was due to a test ball left in the line from builders. Took a month to get repairs done. My advice to builders is to make sure you are using your check list.

My home is beautiful. Minor issues but they have come right out after a virtual visit. The process for me went very fast, I would have like input & requested on carpet in the bedrooms.

I had a great experience buying our first home from Lennar. Lennar Sales and builders did a phenomenal job and were very professional all along. However, I had a bad experience with Lennar Mortgage who were pretty unprofessional.

Lennar homes are good quality for the price. However the lack of ability to customize or address problems with a floor plan or design is frustrating. When we found issues with the construction or finishings, Lennar did address them which we appreciated. We are happy with our home and glad Lennar is a builder that makes the American Dream possible but it won’t be a perfect process.

Size and spaciousness are unrivaled. Quality of everything in the home is the cheapest it can possibly be. Buyer beware, there is NO STORAGE built into the home beyond bedroom closets and an average size coat closet. There is not one linen closet anywhere in the home. So, there is nowhere to put extra towels, bedding, etc. Home is not data ready. Homes are not wired correctly for data and using substandard data cable, nor are the cables to a centralized location in the home.

Hardware in use were good quality, however the contractors Lennar used need more training w/o any doubt

Cindy from the sales team was amazing! Troy was wonderful in assisting us with resolving credit issues. The quality of the workmanship was subpar and the fact that I had medicine cabinets linen closets, and ample storage space in my 2 bedroom apartment and not in a $300,000 home makes the value for the price paid less than great!

Overall the home buying process was fairly straight forward, however when I finally closed and moved into the house, the home was unfinished, there were chunks missing and scratched in my cabinets which should have been fixed when they were first installed since they were that obviously damaged, my attic access was the wrong size and was makeshift put together, the workers left a huge mess in my back yard and front yard of trash, pipe endcuts, and also the A/C wasn’t even hooked up so for the first week there was no A/C or heat. I would’ve been ok waiting and extra couple weeks to move in to have these issues fixed, but they said the home was finished and move one ready. ... More

Overall, a good experience working with Lennar.

I am grateful that everything is clean and brand new, however, the quality and craftsmanship is lacking. The large kitchen sink has the wrong faucet for that sink size, something like rinsing, the sink out is impossible, and it will have to be replaced. The bathroom faucet leaks under the sink when you splash water washing your face. Over 50% of the installed lights do not work properly. It’s so dim, it’s difficult to see for example cooking in the kitchen or putting on make up in your master bathroom. The backyard is not level. There’s so many large hole like ditches, I have rolled my ankle a few times, I was dismissed & told “it will level out” ? Lennar warranty company has been attentive to most of my request, but I’m told some of it is just them cutting corners and using the cheapest products there’s a garage door with no opener, in addition, there is no handle on the outside of the garage door to open it from the outside. These are just a few of the items that I’ve run across, However, I have not had any issues with the heating and air conditioning, hot water, sewer, etc. So that’s a very big positive. The neighborhood is nice and I look forward to having a clubhouse and pool eventually. I’ve not had an inspection by a private company yet so we’ll see what they say about the “bones” of the house.
