Extremely poor experience with Lennar

This is probably the last home I will purchase with Lennar. The entire experience was extremely frustrating, once the initial agreement was done with Lennar, I had a terrible time getting any response from the sales team or the finance team. They had six to seven weeks to close the loan that was done through Lennar finance, however I got CD an hour before the actual closing was scheduled. No response to any question whatsoever, they just refused to answer emails and phone calls. My agent and I escalated as well, the management is also just about as irresponsible and irresponsible. Danny was great!! He always returned my calls and listened well to my concerns. He was very helpful in connecting me to the mortgage process. My main concern with my Lennar experience was the delay of my closing. I did not have any items to correct after my orientation. Construction would not move the closing up and said they needed more time !!!!! My daughter came half way around the world to help me move. I believed the letters that Lennar sent saying that Lennar never misses a closing. Nothing made sense other than no one wanted in construction wanted to bend.

Cheap material used for homes read the contract if they run out of materials they use what ever they have and for the concrete make sure your drive way looks good cuz they are chipped.

The Lennar home is a very nice home. Materials are nice quality (countertops, doors, flooring, etc.) are very good. The Lennar Team is very good. Sales were straight forward, support from Lennar Mortgage and Title were truly excellent. They are very organized with after sales support through the Lennar Portal.

Not committed what they say in the phone and on the paper two completely different. Also didn’t disclose everything before doing initial contract sign and make customers hold by saying no refund of contract money.

There is much to say about the home buyer process that I have learned and thanks to Lennar, that was possible, but not in the way you may think. Firstly, Lennar prices and financing sell their houses, not their warranty, not the customer services, not their knowledge, nor the company itself really. Since Lennar Mortgage, Builders, and Title are all "separate" companies, this allows them to give you the run around and waste time on inquiries and questions you may have. Or if something is wrong in a document, they will say its the other company when truly it's one company masquerading as 3 ...

I viewed and closed on my home in less than a month! Lennar made it seamless and easy, from the application to the virtual closing. The whole team was extremely helpful! Not only did they ensure I understood the process, but they explained everything step by step. They entertained my questions and reassured me when we hit a couple of snags along the way. I've had to call a repair person out 3x. Where both toilets were not tightened. The dryer wasn't connected. Still haven't filled in the holes in the cement for the driveway.

Fast process of buying, adjusting of price and accessibility was very convenient. Till now, no mayor issues with the house quality/material used to build. Only thing I will highly suggest or highlight is for Lennar to keep an eye on the labor quality. It’s was obvious to see that the work/building crew did some mediocre job. Some electric wires were crossed and wrong installed. Fence was not completely closed in, shower drainage cover was glued to the floor instead screwed.

Buying a home is one of the largest purchase an average person makes in their lives. Unfortunatley for me, my experience with the sales agent I was assigned was not positive. I found the sales agent misleading at times, very pushy. Home buyers concierge's primary job is to communicate, update the customer, which she hardly did. had a hard time getting a response from her. My first contact with Lennar was not good. I was supposed to meet a representative at a model house, I arrived ands she was not there. I tried to contact her and she said she was sending someone to meet me. I left since she was deceptive about the whole thing. If it were not for the Real Estate agent I used, I would not have bought a house from them. Their customer service is worse than the DMV. IF you email a question, they do not respond.
