I had the worst time buying my 1st home. where I knew it would be stressful but not so horrible.. I lost sleep and many of tears was shed throughout the whole process. My loan part, my loan officer wouldn’t keep me updated on anything that was going on I would email every few days to find out what was going on. If I needed to do anything. Keep in mind this is my 1st home so I have no clue what to expect or what to do. I sent an email asking if my loan got approved or what so I would know what to do next. And the response I got back was…. It was just a holiday so we are just getting back in ...

Had the worst experience ever with the sales agent. Left multiple messages with several different offices to have a manager call me no one ever called me back. I would not recommend Lennar homes to anyone. I have never given any builder or any business a bad review this is the first time.

The appliances had issues and it took a few weeks to get sorted out, twice the contractor was a no show no call, I had to live out of a cooler for 2 week because the refrigerator didn't work, the workmanship was very poor, just to name a few items the kitchen wall socket is slanted , tile in several rooms have bad cuts , corners could've been measured better for a cleaner look

Communication was a big problem with lenders Lennar could have given more basic upgrades in the home like garage door opener, ceiling fans, coat closet, towel bars in bathrooms, back patio and over hang on back door. These are basic upgrades for any home. Now I'm having to purchase these items myself at an extra cost.

I understand the homes are built assembly style, but appears to be get it done in most expedient fashion possible. Trim which be somewhat pliable has paint on it, so not pliable. Replacing thermostat, would expect a small hole for wiring. Hole was big enough a plate had to be used around old thermostat. New thermostat in place can still see hole. In slight wind can hear the exhaust vents open and close. Over all house it is ok for the price

The bottom line is that if other buyers had been offering homes similar to the Next-Gen model that Lennar was constructing, I would have easily chosen a competitor. My experience with loan officer Jodie was disappointing; she lacked a customer-friendly approach and often communicated with an unhelpful attitude. As a first-time homebuyer, I needed guidance, but she failed to take the time to explain the necessary documents. Had a number of issues involving keys. Found out after over two weeks they had given me the wrong mailbox key and my back door key didn’t work. Also had a footprint in the concrete right in front of the front door. Though these issues eventually got fixed, I would’ve thought these would definitely have been done before before the walk-through.

I was impressed with the fast and organized home-buying experience Lennar has developed. I have purchased many homes in my lifetime and this was different. Mostly good, but at times a little impersonal. The purchase, walk through, and closing went quickly. Patrick was a delight to work with and really went out of his way to help me with getting a mortgage suitable to our needs. Victoria was very responsive. I was impressed with how quickly a small problem was resolved on move in day. My son and his wife occupy this home and they are extremely happy.
