Moved in with a cracked countertop. Was told it was getting fixed and it never happened. Going on two months with nothing.

I hired my own inspector prior to buying my home and they found a leak in the evaporator coil in the HVAC. The air coming from the vents was 67 degrees - cool, but not what it should be. Our AC never caught up in the summer and regardless of setpoint, never dropped below 76 inside. I notifed Lennar and they sent some contractor at 5pm who refused to look inside the unit in the attic. I had to hire MY own HVAC company to get a 2nd opinion. Low Nd behold, a massive leak in the evaporator coil. They never fixed it! When I spoke to our account rep, Jessica, she was very unempathtic and kept telling me it's hot outside. That's customer service? Really poor. Chris, her supervisor, also argued with me that it was hot outside but did agree to send the contractor above who proved to be useless. Long story short, and several weeks of arguing with Lennar, I had to show them the videos and report from the company I hired for them to realize I was telling the truth. Lennar does not want to help you. They leave you a phone number under your kitchen sink, and when you call it, they tell you to call your customer care rep. I asked the women on the phone the purpose of this number if she was just going to tell me to call someone else. After our evaporator coil was replaced in the HVAC, the temperature coming from the vents is 56 degrees. You should not be arguing with your home buyers on a new build and force them to PAY someone else for a second opinion. Really disappointed in the service I've received and concered if I have future issues. I have even recommend a friend, Jade, on the same street to buy here. I will no longer be refering anyone else. Also, I have been sent a docusign weeks ago with no explanation as to what it is or why my signature is needed. They just send you documents and expect you to sign. After sale Cx service is great and team is helpful however home is poorly built. There is no quality assurance audit before closing it seems. Too many issues- gaps in roof siding, cooktop don’t work, doors don’t seal, window frame broken, secondary water heater unit doesn’t work, sprinkler system has leaky water hose, walls are not straight, no electric outlets in laundry room for iron or vacuum cleaner. Seems like someone walked on Insulation in attic- compressed. Also, we had a water leak from furnace drip pan before we moved in- water puddle on attic floor. 10 inch Metal rod is sticking out in lawn and much more. Home closing was delayed by several months. Overall bad buying experience, poor customer service skills by construction manager. Good part- Terri from after sale warranty team is helping and has great CX service skills. Thank you Terri! ... Three words. L. O. L.

I have been in my home almost 12 weeks and I’m still waiting on some things to be finished. I do understand that supply and labor shortages may have impacted it but it’s been a long wait and I’m ready for my home to be completed. Other homes under construction have been getting supplies so why has it taken so long to get mine? Overall I’m happy with my home but that has been frustrating.

Overall not happy with the quality of the work.

Construction supervisor was impertinent and rude; workers without necessary skills were pulled from other crews to complete work - which was then poorly done. Replacements/substitutions made due to supply chain issues were NOT even close to "equal to or better than the model", as promised.

So many things don’t work or break so quickly. I’ve been waiting forever to get my front door fixed because I can’t unlock it so I can’t even open my front door. It’s ridiculous.

Reasonable, but expect delays in the response time on warranty repairs

I feel like the builders rushed through the process and no one actually walked thru the home to verify the work was done properly. I had so many problems with this home after moving into it . Things are finally in an ok place , but now there is already cosmetic issues on the exterior. It’s only been 3 months since I moved in and repair needs to be done to that

Please do your do due diligence to make sure grading is up to par still having issues

Initiated purchase online. Sales rep never made effort to meet with us as buyers. Was very hands off and never around when we were available and responses were delayed. Agent had to press for assistance. We liked the style of house and area so we moved forward with the purchase despite his absence in the process. Was not told we would have two HOA's. While the total HOA cost was disclosed, abiding by two associations is not ideal especially as they are seperate assessments. LENNAR, we were told, is the only builder with this as they build off the main site. Wasn't told this. Couldn't get correct information on incentives, similar houses were being discounted after our purchase, other features offerred in other premium LENNAR properties were missing. Lennar builders don’t tell you the entire truth regarding warranty and how nothing falls under the warranty. Smoke screen of things you will receive half of the extra amenities pool etc aren’t even built because they’re so busy constantly building houses!

Extra switch should be added in the rooms for fans. Double ended switch should be added in the foyer. All bathroooms have no napkins no holder amd towel holder and unutiltized space next to master bedroom sink which could turn into closet. Master bathroom does not have a lock, a tub and a window. No fans and no switches extra provided in the house. Internet point should be in all the rooms but there is only 3. There is no handles in the kitchen cabinets. There is no light in the driveway. Fence material is cheap not good quality.

Home buying experience is okay as the homes are more like inventory homes and no options to choose but not satisfied with quality of workmanship and how the issues are handled. Already seeing multiple cracks across the house near the wall joints.

Given what we know now and experience during the home buying process, we wish we had gone another direction. The workmanship leaves a lot to be desired. And the use of cheap materials in the house construction and finishing is very poor_ eg cheap paint which easily stains and peels off when wiped with a wet cloth. Nice walk-in shower cubicle but no shower doors. Door paint chips and dirt on inside walls not repaired as promised after final inspection.

Most customers who buy new homes already sign up for the homes even before it is built. So it is possible to customize some of the features that the customers ask for. An example for this is the choice of appliances. However, Lennar does not provide this option. They only build houses with their rigid plans.

I am a first time homebuyer and would have liked more support from Lennar through the process. There were a few websites for different things and not much guidance as to where we needed to go for each thing. It was just search Lennar and figure it out. I would assume a lot of their customers are first time home buyers too so they should cater to their audience more. The house itself is definitely thrown together with no care from the workers side if anything was neat, level, etc. I have been able to upgrade things after moving in to make it more livable.

The sales agent, the young one was rude and didn’t care at all to explain or show the homes since “the homes are selling themselves “. I walked through a home and was told the home would look exactly like it. Lennar changed out products to cheaper items with no update to the buyer and said oh well deal with or we will let you out your contract. My appliances were not in my home for the walkthrough liked I was informed. Afterwards there were several items pointed out to be repaired/fix during the initial walk through. Those items were not fixed and I was pressured to close without them being fixed. Closing was a nightmare. I was given an appointment time, and that came and went. Closing took over 4 hours. I would not recommend currently or in the future. I will be buying another home and if I see Lennar I will run not walk away quickly. ... More

I bought inventory home from hills of crown ridge, until sales and contract signing I have no issues, but walkthrough and finishing the issues reported will not be honored and builder just say he fixed everything.. due to the market craziness we have to accept everything, even after closing if any issues are reported they will not fix them, customer service is so pathetic

My appliances are cheap, there is no outside vent for the microwave, No garage opener, I have to lift the door myself. No patio of any kind. calking and pain could have been a little better, a tthe end, I just couldn't split hairs anymore. Just not what I expected for a brand new home,
