Best decision we ever made!! At tentative customer service, best service over all

My experience is not the best overall. I will say the our salesman and our closer / finance gentleman were extremely attentive and went 100% out of their way. They were the ONLY reason I didn't walk away and stayed with the homebuilder. I have owned a Lennar home before and my previous husband actually was a construction manager for them so I know the product very well. I have also owned a DR Horton, Antares and a Highland. Lennar is by far has the spottiest workmanship, esp. now, not like before. I don't want to hear nor care about the pandemic, that does not mean that the workmanship and the materials should be crappy. I could see it taking longer but it shouldn't be subpar. My house was the dumpster of the block while being built so all contractors threw the trashy materials in our yard and broke a lot of brick. then my driveway is literally melting away, the top layer spalling away and they dont want to repair it. my roof leaked in the bathroom and the AC repairman just left and also he gets alot of repairs from them and that our roof and attic has issues, you can literally stand in the attic and see daylight and see the workman truck. he started laughing when we asked is that normal and should we see that he NO not at all. they left me no brick, they should always leave a stack of at least 12 bricks. the ones they had to replace before we closed DO NOT even match. big eye sore. My sprinklers are still not working properly in the front yard. all this and I have not even made my first payment yet. I 100% regret buying this home. I just wanted a home that I come home to and be proud to come home to and call home and be my safe haven from everything we are having to go through with my grandson. ... More

This builder builds nice structured homes with a really beautiful design, Very comfortable and cozy.

From sales to closing to customers care service after closing, all the people that work here has great customer service. They are personable, attentive and responsive. First of all, I do appreciate that the house came with extra perks that I didn’t expect or known not to be included if you would be buying a custom home, like blinds and tech package is awesome. The different packages and layout is very thoughtful. I can’t wait for the community to be fully finish with amenities. It may be my particular home and I don’t know about the other homes, I expected the physical manifestations of the home to be just as great as I got from the other services. All are builders grade, which I understand the affordability, but the finishes are very cheap. I have had to make numerous call with fixes and it keep growing as I continue to live in the house and find more things. There’s no perfect house but I didn’t expect to have to report some basic fixes on brand new house. Overall, this is a great starter home, great alternative to fighting the cash offer bidding wars. ... More

Customer service on the builder side was seriously lacking. I expected it to take longer than estimated to build, but the roadmap was unclear and timeline changed so many times and took twice as long as the original estimate for close. My issue was really with how unclear the process was in terms of next steps and the timeline of what was needed from me. For a company that has all of the parts of the process able to be managed by Lennar businesses I had hoped they’re communication between building and lending for example would have been better. Overall, would I do it again? Maybe but not in this market- not even because of price or delayed closing but because of service along the way. ... More

It’s not been a good experience. No one responds to work orders.

We had a very good buying experience - was straight forward and easy

Craftsmanship is awesome. But, the make ready team is horrible. I've had to go back over a lot of missed items reported on walk through and still have some areas that were not touched.

During my homebuying process I was stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas and was unable to view the property that I intended to close on. So, imagine my surprise when I show up to my recently purchased home (purchased 1/24/22 and arrived 2/25/22) and saw I was missing these essential daily items. I paid 241,000 for a home and it didn't come with a garage door opener or a doorbell. It also didn't come with a refrigerator, and where I come from in Texas that's standard. I'm extremely dissatisfied with Lennar communities, and the quality of the home I received but I guess this is how Soldiers get treated by Lennar Communities when they're not present during building and closing procedures. I will not be recommending or purchasing any Lennar properties in the future. ... More

It's been nearly impossible to find an affordable home. I was relieved to find a new home in a new community. The house is designed well. With that said, the community has been largely built in the absence of an adequate infrastructure. Power goes out regularly. The community ammeneties are still not complete. Contractors are leaving footprints in the concrete and there seems to be no oversight into quality control in a number of areas. Construction sites are littered with bottles and cans and storm sewers are filled with garbage in construction areas. With that said, it is easy to report issues and Lennar sends people out to correct problems in a timely manner. ... More

My experience with lennar is good

Lennar is a shady company that builds cheap houses and doesn't stand behind it's work. I have had so many issues with this home. Which have still not all been addressed. Lennar Lending is a joke and almost caused me to be homeless after they were going against Home Lending laws. Horrible experience. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

It was a very smooth and pleasant experience. Everyone involved from Builder to Lennar Mortgage and title was awesome and made this whole process effortless.

The floor plans are amazing. The space inside the home is incredible. I love it.

Due to demand, there are only spec houses available which does limit the individual's choice of the model they want and the lot they want.

Overall the buying experience wasn't as bad. My issues started with the home inspection after the build and then after I was told that all repairs had been taken care off which was not the case once I had closed. Make sure you are detailed on the home inspections, some of the materials used, specially for all the cabinetry are what I consider very low quality. From talking to my neighbors, it appears that the builder had many homes with the same issues within the neighborhood which shows either a lack of quality control and/or using sub par contractors. I understand that the pandemic has caused all sorts of issues within supply chain, however for the priced paid for the home I expected better quality materials. It appears the builder is pumping houses out rapidly because of the demand and not paying attention to the quality of the homes being built. Also there is a delay in resolving issues related to contractor work so be prepared for delays once you move in and need issues resolved in a timely matter. ... More

This experience buying our first home was totally awesome. Sales team and financing team was so awesome and made the whole process simple and easy. We will recommend lennar to everyone we know buying a home

Currently pre-construction items were not successfully updated and no one has gotten back to. Kitchen cabinet doors falling apart with only one month of use. Not happy with the amount of time they take in order to get back to you when issues are reported. On the other hand my sales person was amazing and always responsive. The mortgage and closing was a smooth transaction even when I had so many questions. They will always get back to me on a timely fashion even if it was after hours.

The builder communicated well throughout the entire process and addressed most of our concerns on final walk through before closing.
