My experience is not the best overall. I will say the our salesman and our closer / finance gentleman were extremely attentive and went 100% out of their way. They were the ONLY reason I didn't walk away and stayed with the homebuilder. I have owned a Lennar home before and my previous husband actually was a construction manager for them so I know the product very well. I have also owned a DR Horton, Antares and a Highland. Lennar is by far has the spottiest workmanship, esp. now, not like before. I don't want to hear nor care about the pandemic, that does not mean that the workmanship ...

From sales to closing to customers care service after closing, all the people that work here has great customer service. They are personable, attentive and responsive. First of all, I do appreciate that the house came with extra perks that I didn’t expect or known not to be included if you would be buying a custom home, like blinds and tech package is awesome. Customer service on the builder side was seriously lacking. I expected it to take longer than estimated to build, but the roadmap was unclear and timeline changed so many times and took twice as long as the original estimate for close. My issue was really with how unclear the process was in terms of next steps and the timeline of what was needed from me. For a company that has all of the parts of the process able to be managed by Lennar businesses I had hoped they’re communication between building and lending for example would have been better. During my homebuying process I was stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas and was unable to view the property that I intended to close on. So, imagine my surprise when I show up to my recently purchased home (purchased 1/24/22 and arrived 2/25/22) and saw I was missing these essential daily items. I paid 241,000 for a home and it didn't come with a garage door opener or a doorbell. It also didn't come with a refrigerator, and where I come from in Texas that's standard. It's been nearly impossible to find an affordable home. I was relieved to find a new home in a new community. The house is designed well. With that said, the community has been largely built in the absence of an adequate infrastructure. Power goes out regularly. The community ammeneties are still not complete. Contractors are leaving footprints in the concrete and there seems to be no oversight into quality control in a number of areas. Lennar is a shady company that builds cheap houses and doesn't stand behind it's work. I have had so many issues with this home. Which have still not all been addressed. Lennar Lending is a joke and almost caused me to be homeless after they were going against Home Lending laws. Horrible experience. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Overall the buying experience wasn't as bad. My issues started with the home inspection after the build and then after I was told that all repairs had been taken care off which was not the case once I had closed. Make sure you are detailed on the home inspections, some of the materials used, specially for all the cabinetry are what I consider very low quality. From talking to my neighbors, it appears that the builder had many homes with the same issues within the neighborhood which shows either a lack of quality control and/or using sub par contractors. Currently pre-construction items were not successfully updated and no one has gotten back to. Kitchen cabinet doors falling apart with only one month of use. Not happy with the amount of time they take in order to get back to you when issues are reported. On the other hand my sales person was amazing and always responsive. The mortgage and closing was a smooth transaction even when I had so many questions. They will always get back to me on a timely fashion even if it was after hours.
