Could’ve done better with home materials

The builder could’ve done better with materials used to build the homes. Lennar at Woodcreek has slabs on the back of their homes but the Chamberlin community across the bridge does not even though the prices of the home were exactly the same. Lennar, build the street like $200k homes instead of $330k homes. If you look at other builders in the community, they’ve put in effort in providing the best stones and bricks. Lennar doesn’t care as long as they get their money. I’m disgusted and will be selling soon. Won’t be dealing with Lennar again. Unless they fix their mistake . 1 star ...

The house was flooded while under construction, seemingly due to lack of oversight that would have caught it before the damage was so extensive. We fear that we have mold that will affect us later. Delays in completion cost us a lot of money, part of which ($1,000) Chad with Lennar said we would be compensated for, this never happened.

Lennar made it really easy and communication was good. I went thru Lennar for the mortgage as well and the whole process was seamless. Closing was a breeze. I am so happy in my new home!

Terrible buying experience. Poor building quality

Company agent was not responsive and not helpful at all, Sometimes he was rude. Home came in poor quality material, Ac was not working in some homes, they did not refuse to fix it but they did not send someone so far. Some items were missing , we request it , they took 3 weeks to deliver it. Giving you excuse when you call them. They overpriced their by 6k in order to sell it, which is not legal. but they still charge it otherwise you can refuse to get it.

I had a horrible experience with Lennar. The communication was horrible. I received "update" emails for the building process but, it was not correct. The building process was about 2 weeks behind from what the emails were saying was done/ to be done that week. During the scheduled "closing" week, I received communication from the Lennar team threatening to cancel the contract because I was not using their Lender. THE HOUSE WAS NOT CLOSE TO FINISH at the time of. They expected us to do a walk-through of an unfinished house that did not even have power or water running. They even forgot to ...

Decent price for the location, very good price for size of house and lot given the current house situation. Materials used is a joke; from the pre-installed kitchen appliances (the stove vent doesn't even vent anywhere HAHA!), to the paint, the floor to the roof. It is all of the least expensive material. I can appreciate cutting costs for the homeowner however to what end? The homeowner will more than likely have to replace most of the cheap material very soon anyway. Honestly don’t know where to begin.. quick answer is that Lennar fits the exact definition of Quantity over quality. Don’t have the effort to repeat myself again on all the issues. Not to say there was not positive experiences during the process, however the negative over shadowed it. The most frustrating part is they were issues that could have been very easily corrected.

Never met my sales guy. Wasted money on a flight after getting direction from the sales guy. The loan office gave poor customer service. I understand they are under pressure for year end closing but... not acceptable. Quality of the home build is below standards. Based on my overall experience I will never purchase Lennar

The materials are very nice but some of them are not of good quality. There was a lot of essential info missing from the orientation. For example, they never told us about the filter, how it needs to be replaced, How to operate the thermostats. etc.....

No issues with the house. Other then maybe quality of appliances but every single person involved in trying to sell us this house was just a disaster. Not with the headaches

As a first time home buyer, I had read a few concerning issues other buyers had with the different builders (nothing on Lennar). I was assured by Lennar they do not work like the other builders that have been associated with those horror stories. I can say Lennar was transparent and upfront the whole way. I'm definitely happy with choice of going with Lennar and do not have any buyers remorse.

As first time home-buyers, my husband and I were understandably nervous and at times a bit overbearing throughout the build and buying process. Every employee from the sales office to the loan officers to the closing crew were very friendly and patient in answering every one of our questions. I felt comfortable as the process went on and appreciated how personable every one was. Highly recommend Lennar!

I totally get we are I n a pandemic and things happen however. I believe the home I live in was built cheap and rushed. I was told the carpet was back order then all of sudden I have brown carpet with gray floors. Like seriously, everything else has a color match yet brown carpet is thrown in the mix. There were things incomplete during final walk thru and if I did not look as hard a lot of things would have went undone.
