I would never refer a friend to Lennar...NEVER..or a realtor...the only good experience I had was the walkthrough with Octavio the warranty guy he was amazing and made me feel so much better

Worst home buying experience

Do not go with Lennar, if possible; that includes the Mortgage and builder. This was the worst home buying experience I could imagine. If you do, please have your own THOROUGH inspection for the home BEFORE you approach closing. We've been in our home for 4 months and have had repairs running for 2.5 of those months. We just discovered a leak from the outside water bib that has our bedroom carpet and outside bricks wet. Also, we received a call at 6:30PM the day before we closed that our closing cost was increasing, after the banks were closed. Our closing time was in the morning BEFORE banks ...

Work crews are/were unprofessional and poorly managed.

Construction supervisor was impertinent and rude; workers without necessary skills were pulled from other crews to complete work - which was then poorly done. Replacements/substitutions made due to supply chain issues were NOT even close to "equal to or better than the model", as promised.

My salesperson Carson was above and beyond helpful and patient. He made me feel as if he truly cared and did everything he could to keep me informed and guided me wisely. My loan officer Justin was exceptional as well.

Lennar - The entire build process was a mess because the communication

The entire build process was a mess because the communication between the sales member and he construction manager was awful. The sales member had no interest in assisting us through out the process once we signed the contract. We are still finding several construction issues and fear there could be some major problems we are unaware of. Do not recommend Lennar to anyone.

Walk thru was fast and not complete. Many exceptions to close. I was given the wrong key when I closed. People were working on my home after I CLOSED without permission from me. My garage just got fixed 3 plus months later. The light switch to my laundry room is behind the door. With all that being said, I know nothing is perfect. I recommend a very thorough walk thru.

Your refusal to stop calling me about using your mortgage company.

I spoke to 4 different people letting them know each time that Id rather pay more money than use the Lennar mortgage company. Terrible sales ethics on your part. This one terrible part of the experience is what ruined it for us. Don’t email/call me about this. I’m tired of talking to your people.

Not the most pleasant homebuying experience since this was my first home. Lennar needs to strongly improve their customer service, hire quality contractors to repair the home correctly the first time, and become more transparent with the homeowner about buying a house through Lennar.

I will never recommend Lennar to anyone until my issues are resolved. I was rushed to closing with many things to still be resolved and many more that I have found afterwards. No response or fixing on most work orders. I’ve decided to now take legal action.

Chad was helpful answered all of our questions. Helped In our decision making . Made us feel at home . Kyle was there helping and getting the job done . On the day of the move in again it seemed like he was close by to answer any questions that we had. Thank you Chad and Kyle . Thanks for the second gate to help access the backyard without wearing the grass down between my air conditioner and the neighbor's unit. The only thing I'm still miffed about is that you're not going to replace the dead tree that had no chance of surviving when planted. It started 90% dead and is now 100% dead.

I was pleased with the professionalism of the salesman Jack and the help I got on setting up my sprinkler to save money on my water bill. The closing went as smooth as possible even though the wrong locks were on the door and I couldn’t get in. Thank God I didn’t have my movers with me at that time but Lennar eventually reimbursed me (2 months later) for the payment to the locksmith. Even though we’re still in the building phase, the neighborhood is quiet.

I will never buy another lennar home and will make sure anyone I know or see looking into lennar hear how terrible this company is from the lies I’ve been told to how terrible the house was put together the builders drink on the job the loan officers don’t know what half of the stuff they send you is the person I did my final walk through with lied to me saying everything that needed repairing would be finished b4 I moved and wasn’t and he didn’t even submit requests for the repairs the home consultant I worked with was terrible didn’t give me any info at all and refused to submit a request ...

Builder was okay to work with. Lack of organization when it came to my closing date due to not having my CO which caused closing to be moved several times. Because I signed a materials shortage addendum some of the materials did not seem to be of equal value as to what was in the model. Mostly pertaining to the showers in the home. Also did not like my new home orientation advisor who was at my walk throughs. He was rude and argumentative throughout the whole process. I’ve had nothing but issues since before I moved in 4 months ago. I had a claim for my roof before I even moved in. There was paint on all my floors that they never cleaned until a month ago which was an exception to closing. I have mold in my kitchen that they keep saying is not mold. You wipe it down, it keeps coming back but there is water behind the cabinet where the mold is and they have to replace the cabinet because the back of it has buckled because of water damage because the pipe on the roof was crooked. My house is not like the model home and I have cheap boards up in my shower ...

Overall a pretty good experience. The home price feels fair for todays market. I have spotted some minor construction issues, but they have always been quick on warranty repairs. Overall construction seems solid. The process of buying the home was easier than I expected from the stories I have always heard about buying a home.

They are building so far that you will have a lot of little things wrong. The builders will fix whatever was not done correctly. That is great. Overall nice community and homes for the price.
