So many things don’t work or break so quickly. I’ve been waiting forever to get my front door fixed because I can’t unlock it so I can’t even open my front door. It’s ridiculous.

I would like to see better quality materials used. Better workmanship. It didn’t seem like there was construction supervision.

I was originally told my closing would be June 8th when I put a contract on the house. Almost every other week my closing kept being put out. There would actually be weeks gone buy that no construction work was done on my house. I finally closed on July 23rd. This was an extreme inconvenience because I had sold my house and had to stay in a motel. I have numerous text messages in my phone to verify the above information. Also the landscaping is terrible. I pointed it out to the Lennar agent and at walk through. I did a work order on it and was told that landscaping is no covered. You ...

Compared to the stories we have heard from people dealing with other builders in town, we don't have much to complain about. However, you can see where they used subpar materials and cut corners to meet deadlines.

Make certain everything is done right before you sign off with the quality assurance person. Once you sign that and then you close, you have warranty to deal with. Warranty has been horrible to deal with. They can only complete one item at a time. I wish my Home buying experience would have been better.

Our closing was delayed 3 months. Fair, I understand building materials and labor have dried up. The day after we move in, our master bathroom’s toilet flooded due to contractors having put waste in the plumbing. The flooding ruined our entire first floor and a lot of personal property. It took 4 emails and 2 voicemails before we finally got in contact with the customer care manager and got the issue resolved On top of all of that, even after our final walk through, there were paint stains all over the floor, nicks in the walls, drawers that don’t stay closed, garage door didn’t work, mud ...

Overall a very good experience. Our one critique would be that there seems to be a lot shuffling around. We would turn in paperwork or information to one person and then another person from a different section would ask for the same thing. A lot of duplicate steps in the whole process. It would feel more comforting if we had one person handling our case from start to finish. A few times we were worried it wouldn’t happen because all the different people involved didn’t seem to have our information and we would miss our closing deadline.

They do not communicate with the buyer. Don't return calls. Very difficult to work with. I actually never talked to the builder.

We like our home. However, the customer service experience is not great and horribly inconsistent. We would never recommend using Lennar Mortgage, terrible experience. I don’t think we would ever purchase a Lennar home again.
