After moving in(Rise at Legacy hills,Celina), I quickly noticed several issues caused by poor-quality materials and workmanship. Lennar even planted a dead plant, which they refused to cover under warranty. I reported it within a week, but they still placed the responsibility on me as the homeowner. In the bathroom, the caulking was not done properly, leading to water leakage from the faucet within the first week, yet they insisted this was a homeowner maintenance issue. The blinds that were offered as an incentive turned out to be extremely cheap and do not function properly. The lock has broken multiple times, and although they repaired it, the chrome finish continues to peel off. The landscaping was also poorly done, resulting in water clogging on the right side of the house. Their explanation was that the issue is caused by my neighbor overwatering, which I find unreasonable. Lennar builds a good house, worth the money, and is easy to work with.

From the sales office team to the mortgage and loan team, was a great experience. Helped me every step of the way. The completed house was great, I did not find one item at the walk through. I wish I could buy 10 more homes from Lennar.

Have everything ready- the approval process was not easy. I had to submit the same document multiple times for no appear reason.

Great job start to finish!

Loan application and processing was very smooth and easy.

We loved the home and we consider ourselves pretty easy customers but working with Bryan the sales consultant was terrible, we were never able to get a hold of him after he got out earnest money. We liked the construction process not the people running it that is just trying to build homes and don’t care about the details

I paid 250k for a 1600 sq ft 4 bedroom house with the tiniest backyard I've ever seen. I'm a first time home buyer and after the first 2 months here I can now confidentially list numerous things that were done shoddily. 1. EVERY door frame in the house is just the tiniest but bigger than it should be. I've needed to put door strike plate expanders on every door that I actually want to keep closed since they left about 1 millimeter of contact between the latch bolt and the strike plate. Shaking the door aggressively could open it up without even turning the handles. 2. The back door is literally cut crooked. The spine of the door is attached to a literal crooked doorframe that stick out more on the middle than the top of bottom and since day 1, the back door doesn't close or open right and takes a bunch of force to do either. 3. Moulding caulk across the entire house was done shoddily. Now I see why I had all those pest control people literally harassing me the first month. It's because they know that the moulding isn't actually sealed and just has holes and missed spots for insects to literally enter the house. Your carpeted bedroom. The back door, the kids room, the kitchen, it's everywhere. 4. They never sealed the bottom of the cabinets. Within one week I had an animals get stuck in the crawlspace they left uncovered in the cabinets. They literally just left it unfinished and little animals can crawl in there.... And there is no way to force them out without breaking about the entire cabinet system. 5. NONE of the cabinets or drawers in this house has handles on them. None..... I didn't realize it during the rush to buy, that they wouldn't be installing even basic things like that. I bought a house that already has issues that need to be fixed and the inspector didn't notice ANY of this. That's not to mean the inspector didn't also have things that needed to be worked on, but those were almost inconsequential superficial things that almost seemed to exist to distract me. I've also needed to buy an additional AC unit for the master bedroom, because even with a new house and new unit, the master bedroom, the one that's the main bedroom in the house, is ten degrees warmer than the rest of the house at all times. ... Overall quality of the home is acceptable. However, the landscaping crew did absolutely nothing to grade the yard evenly before laying grass. Yard is filled with dips, ditches and high spots or concrete chunks. Multiple ankle and knee twists/sprains have already occurred in 3 weeks. Lennar partnered with an HoA that partnered with and internet provider that forces the Internet provider upon the entire 4000 home subdivision. Sales person was good. Mortgage representative was fantastic. Warranty review specialist was fine. Construction manager was good.

Norman was my salesperson. He reached out to me, keeping his promise to call me when it was time for me to make an offer.At the point of signing, I suddenly developed cold feet. However, he encouraged me to proceed. Today, I am very happy in my beautiful brand new Lennar home. Thank uou Norman.

The home buying process was some what easy. But the home was poorly put together. The caulking throughout the home was poorly done. The weather stripping around the doors is spotty. I've had problems with the breaker box, dishwasher, and outlets, and no utility closet. Jusr 3 bedrooms, 2 barhs. I have no doorbell, no shower door, and no towel bars. The worst part is that my neighborhood is accepting Section 8. Which is something I heard that Lennar approves of. The different entities of lennar do not know their roles and do not talk to each other resulting in painful experience

Great community and great buying experience

Initiated purchase online. Sales rep never made effort to meet with us as buyers. Was very hands off and never around when we were available and responses were delayed. Agent had to press for assistance. We liked the style of house and area so we moved forward with the purchase despite his absence in the process. Was not told we would have two HOA's. While the total HOA cost was disclosed, abiding by two associations is not ideal especially as they are seperate assessments. LENNAR, we were told, is the only builder with this as they build off the main site. Wasn't told this. Couldn't get correct information on incentives, similar houses were being discounted after our purchase, other features offerred in other premium LENNAR properties were missing. Lennar is good there were a few things I was promised that didn’t happen which is frustrating

Whole home buying experience was not good still waiting on supervisor to call me back.

Our new home experience has not been overwhelming. Average quality of construction, no attention to details, contractors don’t care about your experience. Building around us is messy, dirty, and they make no honest attempt to change and clean up. Amenities are started, but almost no push to complete. Days go by with no real manpower to make progress.HOA does not respond or return phone calls.

Generally everything went well before we moved in. Well, there were issues along the way, but Lennar responded appropriately to them. Lennar told us the internet will be available by Fision provider the day of closing. We were happy about that. We thought if Fision does not work for us, we can change it to At&t right? No, WRONG. Now we have problem with Fision. Called HOA office. HOA office told us we can change it but still we have to pay for Fision too because Lennar has contract with them. What? That is the biggest betray from Lennar. How they can do this to people. This is America. America is America because consumers have options. Now we don't. (I do not know the term of the contract yet. But here I am asking Lennar do not do that again.) ... More

Had a problem with AC unit and the reaction time was not quick. Lived here for a few months always finding issues. You make a ticket to get it fixed and they only fix it if your home. So that means you have to take off work. So I been fixing it myself.

The online buying experience was super smooth, and I would prefer this process over in-person manual overhead.

I can go on and on about the Great experience i had ( even during the frustrating moments) with the Lennar Staff during my New build Home process. But, Ahmed, Shetalia, and Brookx stayed right with me until the end. They were consistent, accurate and genuinely concerned to be sure i was satisfied. In the end because of their persistent to provide Quality customer service I am very Blessed and Happy with my New Build home!! Thanks Lennar!!
