Poor quality materials and construction

poor quality things instal in the house. like bathroom, and no basic feature in house like towel hanger, bathrrom glass door and many more.never recommend to anyone to buy from lennar

Home buying experience was nice

The start of our home buying process began smoothly, with a virtual tour and quickly finding a floor plan that was available and fit our timeline. Everything after that went downhill. We had some trouble communicating the specifics of our loan information with our MLO, primarily the fact we wanted the house in both our names, and some other key details around the cash to close which were not addressed until the last week before the holidays. Our sales rep, Lee, was hard to get a response out of for a while until our closing. We closed the day that the snow storm hit McKinney and no one was there to turn our water on, or help in any way outside of handing me my keys. Lee even had the gall to ask us how we figured out to do this ourselves and if we would be willing to help another homebuyer also left out to dry because of the weather. Tip: if no one is coming in to work; let your buyers know so they can adjust their plans and not put them or anyone else in danger. Or don’t shut off the water the day before someone moves in. It was also never communicated until days prior that our closing would be all virtual. That would have been VERY nice to know ahead of time as we were located in two different states until the day prior. ... More

My experience from start to end was worst. Lost of lying from different Lennar Reps in terms of what they are telling verbally and cheating with signed doc. Hiding lot of details from customer up front. I made sure to convey my experience with my community who are heavy in investment in real estate to beware from scamming Lennar with all proofs I had. It was easy and fast to get my house and the price is affordable.

My home buying process was a roller coaster, to say the least. It started with a classic bait-and-switch tactic regarding the deal, followed by misleading information about loan qualifications. To get me interested, I was told that I qualified for a USDA loan based on my circumstances. However, after I submitted my earnest money—which is supposed to be refundable—I was suddenly informed that I didn’t meet the qualifications after all. This was particularly frustrating because my agreement to move forward was contingent on using that specific loan. Despite that, they refused to refund my earnest money. To make matters worse, the loan officer was incredibly unprofessional. He changed the financing type without informing me—on three separate occasions—and continued to send Docusign documents without explanation. When I asked for clarity and requested to be notified before documents were sent, I was brushed off. Needless to say, if I ever had to work with Trent or Chaz again to purchase a Lennar property, I would absolutely take my business elsewhere. ... More

The first day didn't go too bad. Met with someone in the sales office. All he did was spend 5 min telling me which houses I could look at and gave me a map. I went and found them on my own. I assumed all the features on the website were accurate and since nobody had spent any time with me I didn't know any different. I asked questions but it turns out much of what was advertised for the neighborhood was just flat out incorrect. No gas utilities, no granite, no tile in the bathrooms or laundry rooms. Later I asked when I was getting my smart lock, smart thermostat, and smart doorbell installed. These were all advertised to be included on the app under my account. It's part of the "Everything's Included" marketing. Turns out I didn't get any of that either. Closing was an issue and I had to do it twice. I've had countless issues with the house itself in the month since I've lived here. Everything from plugs not working, garage doors getting stuck. Back door has a large gap in the bottom, stuff was left under the carpet that you can feel when you walk barefoot, etc. I've lost power several times including once for 12 hours. There's supposed to be a free backup battery for issues like that but it wasn't installed until later. Nobody mentioned that a pool was going to be built 2 houses down until a future neighbor told me about it. Most of the default builder grade things I've already had to replace because they're so cheap. Unfortunately I'm only giving a snapshot and a full conversation of my experience will probably take 2 hours. And continue having issues with the people who are supposed to help with the warranty issues and worst of all I'm pretty sure nobody cares. ... More

I was not told the truth about a lot of things. The quality of the builders was not good. Once I moved in, someone left the floors so dirty full of mud and dust. They also decided to take a #2 in the owners suite. Lennar is so tacky and disgusting. After settling in the home you actually notice how bad the chaulking is, missing screws, drywall repair, horrible sod installation and garge door opener wires everywhere. Not to mention the warranty guy takes a long time to fix warranty request and keeps scratching the cheap floor lenar provided for this home. Very Disappointed

I didn’t use Lennar’s lenders. I closed with my own. The customer service has been great and everyone I’ve worked with. However, what I don’t appreciate is them allowing investors to come in and make the neighborhood I bought in mostly renters. I chose the neighborhood and area because I wanted a nice place to raise my family but now there will be a revolving door or renters.

Everything was great with our on site representatives. Got some great deals but the entire underwriting and closing process was a nightmare. The communication was absolutely awful.

It was a decent process, everyone act with ethics and professionalism!

For the payments they were very agile through the lennar platform and after the payments the leftover funds are returned immediately

The quality of some finishing materials inside the house and equipment could be better.

My experiences were horrible when it came to get items that were falling apart repaired. It has been an inconvenience with the scheduling to get things fixed. Not available on the weekends and in order to get things repaired you must take a half of day off losing income for the issues that came with a new build

Was so surprised how seamless the process was from searching to finding the right lender. A new build just outside the city in a quiet area that starting to be developed. Excited to host in my new space and see what comes of the surrounding areas.

Good team of people but worst quality of fence they have installed In backyard

I had a great experience with the purchase of this home.

My overall experience has been great. There have been. Some flooring issues however Lennar has been very quick to respond. I contemplated a 4 star on the workmanship for that reason. I understand having to use different contractors to keep the wheels turning on putting up these homes quickly and I applaud Lennar for the value of the home, the timely responses, and the overall willingness to seek customer satisfaction. I've told several people I know about Lennar that are also looking to get still a great home without spending $500,000. Yes the home is settling in and things start to seem out of whack but I was extremely satisfied with how fast Kyndall is to respond to us and get someone out quickly to fix any and all issues. I love the home, love the value, and the affordability it gave for me to make a 2 plan of homeowship happen in 1. No more apartment living for us lol. Thanks team for the hard work and I promise to try and send people. Thank you also Jennifer on the Sales side for working with my crazy self and my Realtor to help get a dream done all before the holidays. I’ve owned several homes and understand the process of buying and selling real estate. From the sales process to final close, it was bumpy and riddled with issues primarily around communication and a lack of clarity in details. Additional issues surfaced in general knowledge related to titling the home as I wanted. The initial response brushed it off then later was casted as a “I’ve never seen it done like that in 20 years” approach. I finally got it resolved as I initially wanted by pushing the issue further. The mortgage process was poor and lacked understanding and direction. The process attempted to mechanize something that ignored nuances of individual circumstances. Build quality of the home is ok. Although the details matter such as paint quality (chips real easy when doing a basic wipe down), picture windows in common spaces, inconvenient placement of light switches, and sloppy caulking and paint in various spots. Also, nearly all the door knobs came loose. Minor things to fix but Lennar is strict about their warranty and not doing work that will jeopardize that set up. I’m satisfied and neutral on the quality. But ask me in a year after I’ve had time to live in the home. Our family will stay in the home and make it our own. But I will never buy a Lennar new build again after my experience. ... More
