star-rating The house we purchased is a next gen house. But with the floor plan which includes a mother in law suite for apartment. The plan should have made accommodations made for elder pesons such as walk in showers available and handrails if needed. Not flexible.

Warranty repairs can be very slow in responding.

Walk through is rushed and it's obvious no one from Lennar walks the home before closing. Was told floors would be cleaned but 3 months later I'm still unable to get white paint off the floor. No help for that or significant cracking in door frames and baseboards because that apparently is cosmetic. If I could do it all over again I would insist on a 2nd walk through and be more diligent to ensure issues were fixed before closing. ... More

We asked for a previously offered counter top, Granite, in our master bath. You would have thought we requested the holy grail. they acted like they "might" be able to do it during the 9 months build time but ultimately didn't get it done. New is not always better. I have purchased several homes in my life time being prior military. This last purchased property is questionable.

For a first time buyer I was so excited on buying my first house and spend time with family and friends. But now that the time passes by I get to notice a lot of stuff that isn’t right and that the contractors and builders let it slide under the rug so they could sell, sell and sell ,not focusing on quality and safety of the people that it’s planning to stay in the new house for the rest of their lives. Per example crooked wall in the kitchen and door of living room swings by itself because of that. Roof trusses, 2x4’s cheap and a lot of pieces look like a dog chewed on them and they installed them like that anyway.(Are they supposed to be 2x6’s anyway ?!) I just really hope that my house is going to last and not a regular wind or something simple is going to take the roof down and crush us ..! After 3 attempts of telling Robert, about my back yard and my neighbor telling to him about water holding between our houses, no one hasn’t come by and see or say anything about putting dirt or a French drain . Which that what we need instead of a eye balled trench. Well I hope someone read this and reply or get back with me with a solution at least with my water issue . Thank you ... More

I chose a house that was already built. They never did anything I asked on the final walk. After I moved in, I had a lot of issues. They had to replace the vinyl flooring in the house. That was a nightmare experience. I fence is falling apart after only 5 months. I have to have the structure evaluated for a possible foundation issue. I wish they would just take the house back. ...
