Poor quality home and non responsive to issues

Before we moved in it was very attentive to my needs, which should have been done before I had to pick them out. Not little scratches on walls but Sprinkler lines broke and spraying water in the air, doors jammed shut and was hard to open. Air handler doors off... No lights in a closet. As of 2 months later still nothing is fixed. I had to have a sprinkler guy come stop the water being wasted running down the street. Im pretty sure I will not be buying another Lennar home .

So there’s a reason all the inspectors have a running joke about Lennar homes- because the blue tape walkthroughs are a joke. An entire cabinet in my kitchen is currently cracked completely in half. They installed it that way! The paint on my walls chips off if a fly lands on it. The workers are loud, messy, and lazy. There’s no standards on who they will hire as long as they do it fast, Lennar doesn’t care. My lawn is full of sunflowers from workers spitting seeds everywhere and construction trash is constantly in my yard. The “landscaping” is awful- the 3 bushes they planted are completely ...

The floor plan is beautiful but the workmanship is lacking. It is like Lennar dropped every door before putting them in and they rushed on touch ups, using the wrong paint in many cases. They lack attention to detail. They also outsource their work and there doesn’t seem to be much oversight or quality control.

Once the contract to purchase was signed it was all downhill from there. My contact onsite never kept the commitments he made to reach out. He and the loan rep at Lennar Mortgage didn't communicate with each other. The loan rep never reached out unless I pestered him. The time and location for the doc signing was arbitrarily set and had to be rearranged at the last minute. Home quality is in par but the overall process was just a nightmare. There is a lack of coordination between departments and as a seller i had to constantly follow up on the process. Mortgage was also a pain to deal with. Every person needed hand holding to get me to close. It maybe because we were one of the first few movers in the community but i hope they fix the process.

I regret buying this home. Every single day, I regret it. There are so many hidden poor craftsman issues that I find. From ceiling light covers randomly falling, to ethernet ports being installed the wrong way, to THE worst floors I have ever had the displeasure of having. We moved into our new Lennar home about a month ago. For the price we paid, I would expect the quality of the home build to be great but I have been sorely mistaken. The paint job is terrible. Some base boards were primed but not painted. It seems like there was only one coat of paint applied to the whole house and actually needs to have 2. There were scratches on faucets and cabinets. The homebuying experience was poor. Sales staff were dodgy about answering questions and not very transparent about the homebuying process. It was a sellers market and this was an apportunity for builders to show what kind of seller they were going to be and they showed it. Maddie did not communicate throughout the home buying experience. I am an out of state buyer and having somebody in that position was critical to the success of my buying and closing. I requested multiple times to notify me when the sod would be installed, she didn't, and then Lennar would not honor the warranty. I will be posting truthfully negative public comments. Lennar will have one more opportunity to reimburse me for the sod or I will post the comments and then take them to small claims. I will win.

Do not purchase a Lennar. The loan/underwriting process was very intense. Also, make sure you know what you are NOT getting before you move into your home. They focus on what it includes, but don't tell you what you are not getting. For example: Refrigerator, back door blinds, bathroom shower racks, shower curtain rods, DOOR BELL, washer and dryer (may sure to check the connections) guest bedroom closet lights. I wouldn't do this again.....
