Lennar Homes at Aliana is over priced and interest rate isn't as competitive and anticipated.

Material selections limited to colors. Nice being able to move in with everything included like blinds and refrigerator plus set up as a smart home. Quality is better than the other builders in our development.

Wish they wouldn’t take so long fixing things, so i won’t be a bother

We love the smart home and connectivity, and for the most part the materials used to build and finished the home. The kitchen appliance package should be of better quality, we had issues with the stove and dishwasher and had to fight with the manufacturer for service. Also, some of the trim work was not clean and sharp with globs of paint and unfinished spots, not clean and sharp as I was expecting Lennar to finish homes, also, we still have issues with water puddles in different areas, even though it has been repaired twice already. Is as if the person that should have checked the house prior to the final walk-through had not done their job properly. ... More

Rob, Brenda, & Robin....have ALL been excellent in helping throughout the purchase & transitioning into my new LENNAR home. They’ve always been very professional & courteous with me & my requests. For the most part, Rob has been very expedient in handling fixes as well. I have been truly grateful - for the way he stepped up in one specific instance with my yard when I 1st moved in. I have a few issues I’m currntly trying to be patient on getting corrected - but I have full confidence that - those too, will be handled with the same professionalism. They did make the home buying process very easy. It seems as if they push and push to get you approved, then drag their feet. Other than that, overall experience was not bad.

So the walls feel like primer not paint. The kitchen and bathroom drawer slides are not centered.Not the craftsmanship that we expected in a new home. Overall, just a lack of craftsmanship.

I paid a good price for this home but I see many of the materials us3d to construct my home are poor or low quality that will not last more than 4 to 5 years like the exterior siding made out of compressed wood not cement hardy bia4ds. I also see loopholes to avoid some warranty repairs like trees that died 2 weeks after purchase date etc. Overall, good price but I will not buy a lennar home again. Thank you for the survey

The quality of these homes are horrendous considering how much they cost. The materials used are horribly cheap and the finish carpentry is ugly. The attention to detail is nonexistent.

Lennar has a solid but average process and quality. I have purchased a few homes in the last few years and they don't do anything to set themselves apart and have some questionable procedures that really need to be updated.

the floors in this home are so hard that have been in excruciating pain since moving in and I consider this house unlivable! if I could trade it in I would it. I cannot recommend anyone buy a home from lennar if this is the type of flooring that will be in your home. the pain I am in out weighs any good. I will say that responsiveness has been quick but no avail. The overall home buying experience besides a few delays was pretty good the salesperson James was very helpful and patient, and I felt Diana who did the walk through was trustworthy, but again, the flooring is so awful I would have to give it a zero on quality of workmanship and materials is substandard and I would see inhumane and criminal. I do not think the value is worth what I paid and after 8 months of looking for a home and moving over 1,000 and all of the obstacles I faced to get here, I am looking to get out in less than one month of moving in ... Sloppy work during final walk through. Missed a lot that we flagged. Has taken 3 weeks and counting to fix issues reported to them.

Lennar offered great designs, indeed beautiful houses, but not really impressed with details. From cleanliness to items not ready @ delivery, to customer support, many items were left unplug, uninstalled, open access to controls, lack of explanation on upgrades, the list is long. In my experience, there was lack of communication, customers deserve RESPECT for our commitment to our biggest investments of our lives, please DO BETTER for future home owners. Despite all complaints, I still love Tavola and my home elevation.

The office people are all very pleasant, very helpful. The quality of work done on my house is poor. The sloppiness of the painters, lack of caulk, paint on the floor, chunks on the light switches, grit all over the tub, shower doesn't drain. My windows and walls and door frame is crooked. Some flooring has already been replaced as well. I've had issues with the water, electric and gas, just to name a few. I've had new homes built in the past, all I had were nail pops after a year....I've had all these issues within a months time. I'm working with a pleasant girl in the office, and she has been helping me make appointments and getting people out to repair the issues, which is frustrating. It took 5 people and 3 hours to flag the visual issues on my first walk through. I love the size and layout of my home, it's just sad that it's not a happy, joyful experience that I expected in moving into my new home. ... More

Our walkway was left messy and I was told the developers supposed to fix it. I have sent several emails to get someone to fix our walkway, still no one is taking responsibility for it. A new community walkway shouldn’t be looking a mess.

If you are buying a home from Lennar, just know that there might be better options and more expensive. I like the house, the only thing right now is that we’ve asked to come and repair a couple of issues and we haven’t gotten a response back… it’s been about two months since we put the request and nothing.

Interested in selling but lennar buil quality is poor

For the money you pay for these homes and for YOUR home, they are poorly made. They use the cheapest material and do the poorest way out. As was told by someone whom helps build the community, they have a curtain amount of money per house. Whenever the money for that house is out, then that’s how the house stays. Also, they are in a pinch in every house building because they need to move on to the next house. It is sad that these builders and big names-rip innocent people off. Don’t get me wrong, we love our home because it’s our home. But the walk through definitely is so opposite than when you move in. The walk through is in a day, a hour or two max. Not daily. So the home owner doesn’t get to see the issues within the house. Once you are in and bring up the issues with less than a month to less than 3 months, the manager/warranty manager doesn’t want to admit fault. Does not want to see the issues. Plain and simple, does not take criticism well. You have to practically fight for what is right. Then you have people within the construction team come out and they tell you they are going to fix the issue and they see the problem. Just to walk outside and then we get a call from the warranty manager- we can do this (of course- the lazy way out) but cannot do this. This is the warranty managers answer to everything. When it comes to the construction of your home and the workers, it’s like Buyers Beware! Again, we love our home and all the people that made it possible, but the construction and the managers are a complete joke! They take nothing serious. Just want the laziest way out. Don’t waste their time because our time and concerns fall short to their liking! Excuses after excuses!! So much problems with the house.

Next house I buy I will de looking for Lennar.

The experience buying the house always has some difficulties however when the requirements are fulfilled completely the journey should be smooth specially when the responses are not accurate it will create some delay and confusion. I also have to say that Larry was very helpful when complication were present. Overall it was ok but could be better.

I am a Senior and this is my first new constructed home always bought and remodeled. The buying and completion of the sale for me being a senior was extremely difficult and so very confusing. So many many people emailing and requesting verifications and do's and dont's my head was spinning. Also some mistakes on their end when items were summitted and kept requesting same items finally I discovered why... someone at Lennar set me up to different portals for submission and they were not checking other portal. Sorry I like the old fashion way because I am not savvy on technology and the whole process was a nightmare. I had to have my children help me on most of it AND after all that the closing online ???? which was easy for certain but just did not have the WOW factor of going in person to sign and walk out with the key. It was actually blah. All the staff at Lennar were great and very nice but I did struggle for the first time in my life buying a property. With that said ....I see that with a new house the workmanship is lacking and also the details of purchasing a listed 389,000 home leaves so much for the owner to then supply the little details one would expect. Like cabinet pulls.....towel racks and rings....fans especially for those of us in Houston Texas area....gutters where a must need...also the trim throughout the home...really ??? cheap painted regular boards. I know with economy and especially since pandemic I am certain builders I guess have issues keeping the cost down...but with Lennar being a major builder owning everything from home building to the mortgage lender and everything in between sorry I am just disappointed at least for some of these things should be included. Also when a buyer does a walk thru and then workers come in to do the issues for goodness sakes they like when building the house come in and do their responsibility but do not respect the home so they bump or dent or damage other parts of the house in their process of working in your brand new home. Then you move in and see the dirty hand prints and the knocks that were made while they were in the house because this is just a job with thousands of others waiting to be worked on as well. But this is MY HOME I signed up to pay dearly for the rest of my life and I have waited a lifetime to be able to have....Lastly for goodness sakes why why why do builders use the cheapest white paint that is like powder and can not be cleaned ? I know it is the cost but has anyone asked if they would like to upgrade the paint as the buyer expense. I had to pay close to 3000 to just get the walls painted (not closets or utility room) before I ever moved in because the walls were so fragile and the fear if they are touched in anyway BOOM you have issues. Just roll in the cost of quality durable paint the first go round when house is built. I know at this price point your buyers would absolutely appreciate and willing to pay the upcharge for the better paint that Lennar would use and that would even be a FANTASTIC selling point ESPECIALLY if Lennar got out front first to offer. I have spoken .....as well as my own children that have purchased new homes and yes they were Lennar....How awful and terrible contractors paint is and impossible to keep clean and damage free even without children in ln the home. They all within just a few years of constantly touching up opted to have everything whole house inside repainted. Sorry but I feel you want my honest response ...so that is what I have given. There are so many details I love about the home...the floorplan inside and out...that mine did come with a sprinkler system...the fabulous use of space as well as most of the finishes and the community I purchased. Love the home! But the process wasn’t all that great. No one told me the area didn’t have lights/gas so my closing was pushed back 4 months because of it. My Loan officer was GREAT!

The process could have been better… Looks like shortcuts were taken with some issues… A week of being in the home we had no heat, the garage door needed to be repainted, and brick was coming off the house. Nonetheless, all issues were handled immediately. Our cable was cut twice by the trades building behind the house. The closing was streamlined and efficient.

We love our home, it’s great. We are old, retired and are very technologically challenged. That was our problem .I’m sure others would not have the same issues. When supplying required information to Lennar we were ask to provide that by computer formats we didn’t know or understand. We informed all of this and were told help would be given. Some was, but we perceived to be a problem to them instead. Much time was wasted and we became very frustrated. The process of buying a new home became very unpleasant. I’m sure others more savvy would fair much better than us.
