We have been in the house 6 weeks and still cannot get things fixed that should have been fixed before closing.

We have had numerous problems and a terrible response to getting issues fixed. 1. Our AC went out the first week due to poor electrical work 2. Our fence is flapping in the wind 3. Our grass was never rolled out and patches are missing 4. Metal debris all in the yard 5. Gutters were not installed and the rain washed away some of our landscaping that has yet to be fixed

The home was supposed to be fully wired for alarm service only two windows out of six were properly wired. Workmanship and quality of product wasn’t up to par. Low grade windows only the bottom tilts in for for cleaning. And the windows had a lot of silicone around the frame Leaking out very sloppy work . From the paint to the caulking and seals very hastily done and not properly done . The workers spilled glue on the floor still trying to get that all off. Garage floor has chunks of cement not smoothed out properly. garage door has a 15 inch dent on the bottom panel and I didn’t discover ...

Some delays or changes in material were expected due to pandemic. However, there is clear evidence of laziness and negligence throughout the home. And Lennar's policy seems to be just paint/caulk over it and hope no one notices. Very little effort in lining up trim and moulding, windows installed off center and non-level, bumps forming in vinyl floor due to improper installation, sheetrock bulging/bowing in multiple areas (best they would do to fix it is shave it down and re-texture), exterior mortar all over bricks/driveway because they wouldn't clean up after themselves, paint stains on all ...

Meh they are mediocre builders at best you can definitely tell where tasks have been rushed, also they will blatantly lie to your face than rather look up and get the correct information you seek, just to make a sale.

Lennar builds homes very quickly and is more than willing to put out fires for the time they are required after the build than to do a quality job and hold their contractors to a higher standard. These homes could be so beautiful as they do use quality materials but everything is so rushed and sloppy. We were also pushed into using a "trusted" lender which was a nightmare. The numbers were wrong several times to the point that the mobile notary that was at our house in a different state refused to notarize the closing paperwork. Our sales agent from Lennar was nice but made promises the ...

I will not be recommending lennar to anyone. The experience of buying a new hour was ruined by Leeca and John B. I was appalled at the way they treated and talked to me throughout the whole process. It was bad. My realtor is not even taking clients to lennar anymore.

The house is nice, but since I’ve been in my home I have had to replace tankless heater, washer is not working well, a lot of calking is cracking, the tile is very cheap and cracking throughout the house. For the price the house is valued at , it should not be valued over 300k. The sod in the yard was put down poorly and the garage door is already messed up. Not too happy with all the things wrong but I am happy I have property and will most likely sell in a few years not what I was expecting at all.

If I could do it all over, I would have gone with a different builder. The quality of the home is not good. I continue to find issues and warranty reps are not helpful. I was told one thing during my walk and now I am being told something different as far as what is covered.

Extremely disappointed with Lennar’s so-called “warranty”

  • Jose L.

I am beyond frustrated with Lennar. Every time I submit a warranty request, they find a new excuse to deny coverage. I’ve been told repeatedly that the issues I report would be covered—but only in other states, not mine. How does that make any sense? A national builder should offer consistent service, but instead, Lennar hides behind technicalities and loopholes to avoid doing the right thing. They make empty promises just to close the sale, but once you’re in your home and problems arise, you’re on your own. Their warranty is nothing but a sales tactic—absolutely useless when you actually ...

The house was left extremely dirty between my final walkthrough and closing. There were many corrections that need to be made even after pointing them out at the walkthrough. The house seems to be very cheaply made. I have lived in the house for a month and my fence is already falling apart. For a brand new build you would expect a higher quality product. The Lennar team also schedules all of your appointments before checking your availability which is extremely frustrating and leads to longer wait times.

Lennar is a very basic home builder whose quality comes in on the lower end for workmanship and materials. They invest heavily in "quality control" and "customer care" that is mostly a facade. That money would be better directed at increasing the quality of labor and adding a few basics like towel bars and shower curtain rods that they cut corners on. If they would adopt a "done right the first time" they would not need an entire multi-level team of "quality control" and "customer care" reps who are little more than dispatchers taught to placate homeowners with words but deliver little in ...

I will not be buying another house from Lennar - ever again. The entire house buying process was stressful, which is to be expected, but our loan officer, Sandra, seemed to be especially quite incompetent. Throughout the process, there were various hiccups and even errors made in numbers. We did not trust Sandra at all and thankfully things were caught because we reviewed everything multiple times. Had a bad experience with the sales guy. Felt like a military recruiter - made promises that I would get certain things included in the house and on the papers I had to sign, he purposefully left that out. Told me I had nothing in writing which was very sketchy. Talked to some neighbors and at least 4 others had a similar experience. I really did not want to give him the commission on this sale but I had to get the house. The finance team was also a nightmare. More times than I can count I was asked for docs that were supposedly due the next day and they would be sent to me at midnight (or ...

I didn’t care for the experience Lennar had to offer, from loan approval to buying. You guys talk a big talk to get us in, but I didn’t care for the final product, I’m not one to complain because I know how to fix anything. But truly Lennar if I could say sux, I would but I just can’t. Anyhoo, I will not recommend anyone to go through this experience said to say, I mean just ask my wife she has it all written down, all of Lennar’s mistakes

The sales manager was very hostile to me and showed zero human feeling to any challenges that the buyer has. His goal was just to get the property sold at the end of the month to preserve his bonus. This is the most inhuman treatment I have ever had from a seller of a home and I expected Lennar to do better.

Lennar representative explained everything as common and normal where poor quality of workmanship and bad materials were pointed. His name is Kurt. For example when I pointed a standing water he, said it is normal for drainage. There was a gap in the main door and frame and Kurt said he will block with the bubble gum he was chewing. This is not acceptable and he is very rude and disrespected to us.

The home buying process was a nightmare from having a processor who had been only been working for 2 weeks in his position to a lender who had only been working in hers for a month. Closing day I still didn’t know my closing costs, I’ve now been in my home a month. I’ve run into SEVERAL issues from a faulty breaker box, to a improperly installed garage door just to name a few. I’ve put in SEVERAL repair requests and not one of the items have been completed. I'll say the sales member for Lennar was probably the best employee Lennar has. He was always returning calls and finding solutions for us if we had an issue. On the other hand, the builder was not. The builder/CM was always giving some excuse and or promising something and not coming through. We have since closing, realized how much he missed in the building process as well as didn't do something he said he would before close. Have heard rumors that he's just average in terms of CM and was not the best one on this development. I can certainly attest to that at this point.

If I could turn back the hands of times I would have never bought a home with this builder. My salesman David was to sum it up the worst if you get him run immediately. Tiffany my loan officer tried to get me to close on a house I wouldn't be able to take possession of just so they wouldn't have to redo paperwork. It's been a month my front lawn has fallen into the street my cabinet fronts are falling off, I have standing water in yard and they never relaid the sod so now its mud and weeds and they stripped it from the edges so the grass doesn't even meet the sidewalk. We had issues with the salesperson reaching out and coordinating with our realtor. He did keep us up to date on the progress of our house, which was nice. Upon coming in we had power pulled during the final walkthrough and the construction manager told us it was the electrical company’s fault. Turns out it was his fault for not paying to have the post replaced after it was hit by their landscaper. Got straight lied too and the electrical company informed us he called when it happened but never submitted payment to them for a replacement. Then called the night before panicking because it ...
