Our sales rep Karina was super helpful and respectful she was there to answer any of our questions that we had. The title guys were also very nice and helpful the walk through goat of our home was a horrible experience being first time home buyer Scott the one who led the buyer walk was pushy punching the home himself instead of attending our needs and concerns on the home. But Karina was there to ease our minds and help us get through that obstacle to continue with the purchasing process. Big shout out to Karina.

Absolutely horrible experience all the way from the looking at the home to closing. Zero communication within the company, everything is compartmentalized. Straight up will lie to your face. Use FOMO tactics to get anything done. God forbid you call them out on the workmanship and they have to make repairs. Just easier to pay someone else after the process to get your home to where you want to be.
Lennar responded:
Hi Harrison, we thank you for your feedback and review. We want to apologize for the sub par communication and we will be informing our division leaders about this to help improve. -Lennar Customer Care

I was told that I didn’t need a realtor and that the process would be easy. But has a first time home buyer, there were things that was not explain to me. Such as, when first looking at homes, I was shown 3 different floor plans. Only one floor plan was explained on what came with the home “the package”. When shown the next two home nothin was explained, so I assumed all homes came with blinds, full sod, and irrigation. Additionally, my home concierge was hard to get a hold to and didn’t respond at times with my questions. Furthermore, my loan officer was asked by me to go over fees and the ...

So far so good. The price is fair according to today's prices. Good experience: Fast costumer care, all my requests have been responded quick and kindly. Not so good experience: We have been waiting for the sod to be installed for 2 months now. Bad experience: Having only one hose bib at the front of the house and having to install a second one for the backyard. A lot of time and money spent for something that the Builder would had done very cheap and fast. No

My wife and I are new to San Antonio and our salesman Jarrett was very helpful and made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. Jarrett was professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. He told us about the advantages of using Lennar financing versus other financial institutions such as no out of pocket expenses and lower interest rates. He also told us about military disability discounts which was a big selling point for us. Kim was our loan officer and she was also very helpful and available to answer any questions or concerns we may have had. Brenda was our person in the escrow ...

The only caveat are costly utilities

Lennar offers affordable homes and make buying a smooth and secure process. They have been responsive on repairs and make the process of reporting problems easy with quick turnaround. The only real complaint I have is the cost of utilities in New Braunfels. As I transferred utilities under my name as reqyi by Lennar after closing & not occupying the home until one month later I received a water bill of $422.20 and a gas bill of $215. Lennar put sod & 2 trees on the property and ignored the drought watering rules of watering on Thursdays only and set the timer for 7 days a week, twice ...

I want to say first how nice and responsive Amy and Stephen were that is who we dealt with most. They represent the company well. The problem I had is how much we were lied to. When we first walked in to view the house it was 281k and we were advertised a 4.25% interest rate. In a short 2 months it went up to 306k and 5.65%. We messed up and agreed. We got ripped off. Never again will I recommend to anyone or myself purchase a lennar product. I’m paying more for home owners insurance because I refuse to give Lennar any more of my hard earned money. We got taken advantage of. Some things still ...

The finance part of the process was for stressful. Loan officers sending me emails on a friday evening requested me to get documnets that was need from companies closed on weekends within 24hrs. I also had to reach out to them every time for an update on my application and see what/if any other documents were needed. Other than that the process was okay. The quality of the home is good for first time homebuyer and the price.

Build Quality is a 2/10, and that’s being generous. They cut corners and use the cheapest options available. Communication is often short and their staff will not give you a concrete answer about any issues. The contractors leave out a lot of trash, food, and building materials, and when it blows into your yard or property area, they do not care and do not clean it up. The sod/grass they gave our entire community was dead upon arrival and it took them over a month to deliver it when it was supposed to be delivered 5-12 days after closing. Our home was not cleaned prior to our arrival; it had ...

Having 2nd thoughts

The initial part of the home buying process was okay. It was until the inspection and after closing that the nightmares started to kick in. First, for starters, any real estate professional could see the gap between the foundation and the garage door. It seems like because I was out of town during the closing they just looked over the gap in hopes I wouldn’t say anything. I had to put in a claim for Lennar to come out and fix the issue that should have been fixed prior to closing. Second, there’s overgrowth of bushes and shrubs outside my property line. I reach out to Lennar regarding ...

Unfortunately we are still waiting for the original punch list to be completed well after a month of us closing on our home. Many items that needed to be addressed were never completed. The new home on the day of closing was filthy inside and the driveway was very muddy.

I have had the worst experience ever. My home was not even ready to move into when I moved it. It has still yet to be cleaned. There is still blue tape on on damaged of my house that were never repaired even after multiple phone calls. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER LENNAR HOME. I will do my time living in this house and can’t wait to sell it and move. There is nails sticking out of the all where my kids play. After repeatedly asking even in my blue tape walk for it to be taken care it wasn’t. That is insane! Adam the gentleman that helped me through the financing is great!

I’ve lost tons of sleep, the experience was to say the least was heart wrenching at times, you forget this is a business first for them and a home buying experience for you second in their eyes. You’ll want to leave and forget everyone associated with the process and then you’ll wake up one day with an email saying you’re clear to close and it’ll all be worth it and you’ll thank everyone evolved. Well maybe everyone…lol My advice, be good to yourself. Compared to what you’ve gone through in your life to get to this point consider this a walk in the park. Strap in and enjoy the ride, ...

- Hard to find the right person to explain the detailed T&C in the contract documents. - No one tells the whole flow, and the progress. Many Lennar internal teams like Lennar Insurance, Lennar Title, Lennar Mortgage, are not talking to each other. As a buyer, I have to explain and reach out each one for any supports needed. - After the closing, not sure when and how can the buyer get the full set of official documents including the registered deed. - The construction team did the sod installation before the mutual agreed date without notice, resulting the huge extra costs and longer time ...

I recently bought a home with Lennar what started a smooth process quickly went sour.. As expected the lender needed a lot of information and documentation which was fine but as time went on they kept going back and fourth on what they needed even asking for forms that were not available and disregarding the documents I sent that had the information they were looking for although a long process and poor expectations being set I understand it’s a lot to work with but could have been made easier and more coordinated. When I finally closed on the hike after changing the expected move in date ...
