The house is very basic, for my living situation this house is OK. The workmanship seems to get the work done ,but quickly. The house is an inexpensive house and you get what you pay for. The community is very pleasant and I am one of the first to move in to my area, but I really like it so far. My biggest complaint is the entrance and exit to my community, we need a traffic light. It takes just as long to get in and out as it does to get were you want to go.

I am more than happy with the purchase of my brand new Lennar home.

First time home buyer. Did not realize everything I would have to look out for. If I had thought to check some of these things probably would not have purchased this home. No faucet in the back yard to water my grass. I feel this should be mandatory, but what do I know? All the toe kicks in the kitchen are hanging on for dear life they will all fall off eventually. Had a minor gas leak that I did not report for a few weeks because I was told the faint fas smell near the meter was NORMAL, yes Im the idiot for believing that, this I do realize. Im sure there's more that I can't remember.

I read some of the horror stories about Lennar Homes and thought that it was just people that were angry over ridiculous nonsensical things. However, I can tell you firsthand that the finish quality craftsmanship is so poor and so unchecked they have no quality service control whatsoever. The house was full of so many poor quality finishing that I had to make a list that should never have had occurred of the poor, finishing quality of the home. I have bought probably 16 homes during my life and I even worked for companies that build homes and I’ve never seen poor quality control ever people get excited when they buy a home and they look around real fast but if you look at all the baseboards all the trims around the doors, actually look at the walls in the joining of the walls to the ceiling, checking the cabinets and the quality of the fitting of the of all these moldings and cabinets and the quality of the actual finishing product. Then you will see so many poorly done finishing that you wonder how they even sell any homes I’m trying to be polite here so if you want to have pictures, I’ll send you pictures of my finished home and everything that I am making Lennar do again to make it right it is horrifying and honestly I am aghast at how poorly this homeless finished good luck. The entire process was stressful. They were "accommodating" but only after I said I would not be purchasing the agreed upon house. The closing process itself was a nightmare. I had to ask off 4 different days from work for the closing date because it was always up in the air. Living here for about a month, I still find subpar elements in the home. Flooring done incorrectly (which they "fixed" before moving in) granite countertops unfinished. Our downstairs is a cooler, while the upstairs feels like a sauna. This is the 2nd house we own, between my fiance and I, I don't recall anywhere near this experience with our 1st... Is it the worse possible scenario? It was great. Everything moves smoothly

The loan process was frustrating. They asked for paperwork the Friday before Christmas, I couldn’t get so my closing date got pushed. Then at the last minute they said they didn’t need it and set a closing date without checking with me. The title people were great and went out of their way to meet me and give me keys over the Holiday weekend. The house was not been cleaned before I moved in. Try to get things fixed is long process. It normally takes me 4-5 calls to get something resolved. It doesn’t look like a lot of pride was put into building the house. It was just put up fast and onto the next one. I get they are basic cookie cutter houses, but still… It would be nice if they would clean up the trash in the area so it doesn’t blow into the yards. Lennar is a way to go with their specials towards helping with the closing costs if you need help with that. If you don't need closing help I would try other builders. The subcontractors they use, do subpar work, no real over sight by Lennar as they have to many homes being built. The subcontractors constantly quit the job slowing down the build. I am 45 days after my house closed and still waiting for a piece of the framing to be placed and painted right. The constant back and forth with Lennar to get the painter out to do the job right is ridiculous. But overall the few annoyance is better than living in an apartment. ... More

The overall experience was on par with most mid-range builders. The one strange item and I wasn't told about this until we were getting ready to move in. Was that the window screens were not included. For an entire house of half screens is less than $300. It's very strange for a home that's almost $300,000 to not include the screens.

We got everything done súper faster and with great quality.

Decente house, need extra if you wanted cozy but overall its a good purchase

It was a good experience. The only thing that I must say is that at the end of closing process was a little confusing for the changing dates. The Lennar staff were polite and helpful and the builder's crew were great on our walking through.

We thought we were working with a reputable company but soon realized our sales representative Kristy at new Braunfels was the ONLY GOOD THING about our experience at lennar. Our construction manager Trey couldn’t have been more passive and untrustworthy, he was here bc it gave him a paycheck not because he wanted to deliver a quality home. The sub contractors you guys allow to work on the homes I’m baffled. I do no construction but have already fixed all the cosmetic issues your contractors left behind and Trey refused to have them come back and fix, one example of many the masonry guys left mortar all over our driveway/porch which dried and never got scrapped up so now we have dry mortar all over our driveway (Trey specifically said while we were on our way to closing that the power was guys were coming to get it up not to worry. Well that didn’t happen) . We’ve talked to all the neighbors and everybody has a story on how terrible their experience was with lennar as the builder of their home. The only reason we stayed was because Kristy went above and beyond 8 month pregnant, coming in early to clean up after the terrible cleaners had already supposedly cleaned. Scrapping paint off the floors herself. If it wasnt for Kristy fighting for us and trying to correct lennar mistakes the best she could we would’ve walked away no matter the fact that our started home had already sold and we wouldve been homes less for the time being. ... Too many negative things to list them all. Constant delays and lies. Quality is so bad I would never buy a Lennar home again.

Once we moved in it was warranty claims after warranty claims that take months to get repair and yet it still hasn’t been done.

Love my home and the quality is fantastic, I had one issue with a light and they came out and fixes it the same week, I can't say enough about how much I love my home.

This was my 2nd home purchase and it was definitely way worse then my 1st. My main issue was the sales representative from lennar. With how poor the service was it was like they didn't want me to buy a house.

We bought our home during Thanksgiving week, and we couldn’t be happier we were able to get the Christmas tree up quickly for a wonderful Christmas in our new home. Our overall experience was great, especially with every answer that we had. Mission del lago is a good neighborhood and neighbors are very welcoming. We’re happy we chose Lennar.

Overall the experience was terrible. Our Lennar salesman never answered her phone. Always rude when we finally got ahold of her she had no idea what was going on. House looks like it was built by a toddler. No attention to details, paint everywhere on outlet covers, my brand new carpet, windows all have paint on them. House was suppose to be cleaned before closing that was never done. Nobody answers the phone to get anything taken care of.

Lennar uses unskilled contractors and cheap materials, contractors and subcontractors don’t know what they’re doing and have this “I don’t care” attitude. Getting anything done or fixed or repaired is extremely difficult and have to resort to escalating to Lennar Head Office. Construction managers and customer service reps all make big promise, trying to get you to close sooner. As soon as you Close on your house, game over, Lennar won’t touch or repair anything. Lennar needs to learn to treat their customers with respect. It’s very difficult dealing with Lennar. I hope that Lennar, some day will learn from their competitors D-R Horton - their home sites are clean and tidy, D-R H uses good materials and their contractors do a better job. Go to any Lennar construction home site and it looks like it was hit by a hurricane. Lennar doesn’t even have security at their new communities, homes are often targeted by thieves who break in and steal from new homes or simply walk into any open homes and steal brand new materials. This has been brought up to Lennar locally and no one does anything about security. All they need to do is , have a security guard or a camera that won’t allow people with pickup trucks to drive into the new community after 8PM or at least take a picture of their license plate. Nobody should be driving into the community and roaming around at night and late at night , might night and past midnight. I guess Lennar upper management don’t care that thieves steal material and appliances from homesites, I’m sure it’s cheaper to hire a guard for 8 hrs at night at $10 per hr but Lennar won’t do it. Lennar used to have cameras with lights on poles in new communities with signs “no trespassing, video surveillance etc””. Lennar has removed all of that. It doesn’t make sense. ... More

Homes are not accessible to people with disabilities as I was initially told. Had no opportunity to have a shower installed instead of the tub. Made the request but was denied.

The only positive experience that we had was with our Lennar realtor, Brandon. That's the only good thing that I have to say about the whole experience.

We couldn’t move in for 30 days after closing because the sod wasn’t installed and we have dogs. Both yards were a giant mud pit, and the lack of sod almost caused the house not to close. Then when we needed to access the plumbing clean out, they had buried it in the dirt and sod and came in with a backhoe and ripped it all out. It has yet to be replaced. The house has flooded 3 times now when using the washing machine, dishwasher doesn’t work due to incorrect wiring. There’s a huge gap in between the floor and backdoor where cold air blows in constantly. Numerous other issues and we have only been in this brand new house for 2 weeks. After talking to neighbors, we are coming to expect many other issues to arrive in the near future. Disappointing to say the least. ... More

I had a pretty good experience. I understood delays and all. I did turn down my first home choice because of workmanship. I am pleased with my second choice. Disappointed the designed changed a little. I've had a couple of service calls for minor fixes. All were done in a timely manner. Overall very pleased with my home, sales consultant, loan officer, lennar representatives all together. I would purchase again. Thank you.
