How a gas leak, plumbing issues (shower not draining) electrical issues got past “inspection” is beyond me! Simple things as installing doors properly for the safety of their home buyers is clearly not a value no integrity behind their name! I’ve been here 1 month and have yet to actually feel comfortable in this home! DONT BUY IF YOU DO HIRE AND PAY FOR YOUR OWN INSPECTION!!!

I must of dealt with 8 different employees when I had a real estate agent. I did all the work of the agent. Talking to 8 different people is not only confusing it was hard to hold anyone accountable for the mistakes.

The only good part of of this process was from the loan and title personally our home concierge Jose terrible terrible terrible all you guys did was take advantage of a young military family thinking we were stupid cause our age and cause we were officially here in San Antonio yet as well as his boss who called and blamed us for the problems we had in our home because we hired a third party inspector and her word i quote “ Lennar is a faster moving company then anyone else so with you hire a third party inspector it pro longs if and cause the issues you are having” basically because they ...

The process of buying the home was not a smooth purchase at all. Our Lennar rep put us in a bind even though we had brought up the issues in advance. The construction crew left a mess on the exterior so I was having to pick up paneling boards and other materials that were left behind. I wear braces on both legs so struggled to bend over to pick up heavy paneling. They did not level out the top soil before putting the sod down and we had asked for this. We were told a cleaning crew would clean the interior but on the day we finally got our keys, the house was still dirty. Paint and glue stains ...

Good afternoon. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear you had to pick up after the construction crew and the difficulties that this caused. I have shared your review with the customer care team. We hope that moving forward we can offer you a better Homeowner experience. Sincerely, Lennar Corporate Customer Care

1. We expected Lennar would install top soil and follow SAWS guidelines when planting it, as Paul Canyon is served by SAWS. Instead, in less than 48 hours, our grass died although we watered it following SAWS rules. 2. Lennar sales representative sold us the house assuring us that the sod would be planted to the fence and later we found out that was not the case. She either misinformed us or plainly lied.

Lennar responded:
Good afternoon, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are sorry to hear we did not meet your expectations regarding the sod. Avoid this place like the plague. The only smooth thing about the buying process was dealing with the finance/mortage department (the people who take your money. Go figure.) It is also usually a dump as they don’t make the contractors clean up after themselves. It was pretty bad before enough residents complained to force their hand. This developer has been a headache from the start. I started the initial paperwork on Thursday 01/18/24 around roughly 9pm. My walkthrough was then scheduled for Friday 01/26. I contacted a 3rd party inspector on 01/20 to complete an inspection on 1/26 a few ...

Lennar responded:
Hi Ky, we are sorry about the frustrations that you have experienced with the inspections and the walkthroughs. We are also sorry about the lack of sod in your home 7 week post close. We are going to pass on this information to our senior leaders to help drive improvement. Zero communication. Lack of care in blue tape walkthroughs, unprofessional staff (ESPECIALLY at the Lennar regional level), shoddy craftsmanship. I can especially observe this watching all of the other houses get built around me in Guadalupe Heights in Seguin. Trash getting blown all around, builders trying to steal packages off my front porch, dirt and debris in the road. I will always tell people to avoid Lennar at all costs. Cutting corners should be Lennar’s slogan.

Lennar responded:
Hi, thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are sorry to hear about the issues you have experienced with your own home, as well as the ongoing construction in Guadalupe Heights. The Customer Care team will follow-up with the local leadership to make them aware of these concerns.

When I came to Lennar I was looking for the home of my dreams a second home and I got stuck in a home that according to the Lennar seller was just an option and he force me to start the application and during the process he was going to help me to get in to the home I was looking, of course that never happened the guy really didn’t care . Due to my circumstances I accept to keep the home ,during home inspection I realize the cheap material that was used for the construction I’m afraid about a bad wind or rain I don’t think it will resist a storm . Terrible overall experience. The salesman, salesman’s supervisor, concierge, Construction Foreman all were horrible. The lack of follow through and returning calls was unacceptable. The title company returned half of my calls until I closed then stopped returning my calls. Ken, who did the warranty walk through and sign off was great. I’m a seasoned investor and not a first time home buyer which is what they are used to dealing with. They prey on the ignorance of the buyer and don’t put the buyer first.

Terrible experience, first time home buyer. Our realtor was shocked and surprised, a lot of first for her. Weeks with out any info or communication, to then have these abrupt request. This and this needed within 48 hours. Every step of the way was a hassle and a pain. Even closing was a hassle. Home is great but the buying process was horrible. To the point that gave me second thoughts of purchasing.

I was really excited to buy my first ever home but after the experience I’ve had with LENNAR I would have chosen differently. The experience I had with the mortgage team started off very rough and I experienced very poor communication and errors with the loan officer. I wanted to get a new home expecting that I would not have many issues however since moving in, that’s all I’ve had. Not to mention the cleanliness of the home upon move in was just unacceptable. I have spent days on my hands and knees scrubbing floors clean and covering many holes where caulking was missing to avoid pests. I ...

Sales person was great and responsive. Quality of work was poor, responsiveness from construction team was poor. After closing for over 6 weeks we have not had sod on our yard. We financed through Lennar and they later sold the loan to a different company. Shortly after the loan was sold, my wife and I both experienced identity theft, where we both had letters stating that credit cards were applied for by us that we were not aware of. We are very careful with not sharing private information and have not applied for credit cards in over 5 years. Some credit cards were approved and had ...

Being a first time home buyer, I wasn’t familiar with the process of purchasing a home. The information required was understandable since it’s a large purchase however it was time consuming and extremely detailed. Once that was complete I thought the worst part is over. I was wrong. One week prior to signing my papers I was told it needed to be extended, I understood. The second part, I was told that the home I was purchasing (which was completed except for minor details) was inspected and it was valued at about 13K more that I was paying. I was told I needed to pay that difference. At this ...

The price of the home doesn’t reflect the low level quality of materials and craftsmanship in the home. The home has a beautiful face on it but basic everything else from the cheap doors, no locks on the door knob, the basic level stove and microwave, carpet padding, no screens for the windows and the most horrific caulking and painting of the base boards. I reached out to inquire about upgrading the low level things and I was told that it violates the warranty!?!?. You don’t know all of these things until you get in the house and live in it. Also what happened to everything is BIG in TX??? ...

Kept being told this would be one of our happiest moments, had many issues and concerns still haven’t been addressed and have moved in still waiting to get some resolution. Luv my home but overall experience was horrible and still not able to enjoy our home. Very poor communication at the very beginning, still lack of her and now. Felt so rushed and pushed and thrown to the side. Hope no one else had to or will have to experience what we did. My realtor was the only one I felt that was really here helping and supporting us. Neighborhood is wonderful so far.. wouldn’t change anything

I knew coming into this that buying a house can be stressful but it definitely could be better with the right help. When i went to see the house Ana was good, however the second i was moved to lennar mortgage the nightmare began, the loan officer Wesley he eas good at the beginning, then there was a LOT of miscommunication, changes of information and to make it worse to be honest i felt i was gaslighted towards the end, putting me in a position where i had no choice but to buy. We were really excited to buy this home for our family. This is our first home that we have ever bought. The process of applying for a loan was easy, where things began to fall apart is the lack of communication between all the different areas of the company. I felt like I was doing all the leg work. And to make matters worse, the closing of our house was moved 7 times. Sometimes we knew about it a week in advance and the last few times it was literally the day before we were to close. We moved into our home with not having a final green inspection done, (it had been done, but something ...
