The price of the home doesn’t reflect the low level quality of materials and craftsmanship in the home. The home has a beautiful face on it but basic everything else from the cheap doors, no locks on the door knob, the basic level stove and microwave, carpet padding, no screens for the windows and the most horrific caulking and painting of the base boards. I reached out to inquire about upgrading the low level things and I was told that it violates the warranty!?!?. You don’t know all of these things until you get in the house and live in it. Also what happened to everything is BIG in TX??? ...

Kept being told this would be one of our happiest moments, had many issues and concerns still haven’t been addressed and have moved in still waiting to get some resolution. Luv my home but overall experience was horrible and still not able to enjoy our home. Very poor communication at the very beginning, still lack of her and now. Felt so rushed and pushed and thrown to the side. Hope no one else had to or will have to experience what we did. My realtor was the only one I felt that was really here helping and supporting us. Neighborhood is wonderful so far.. wouldn’t change anything

I knew coming into this that buying a house can be stressful but it definitely could be better with the right help. When i went to see the house Ana was good, however the second i was moved to lennar mortgage the nightmare began, the loan officer Wesley he eas good at the beginning, then there was a LOT of miscommunication, changes of information and to make it worse to be honest i felt i was gaslighted towards the end, putting me in a position where i had no choice but to buy. The person that was supposed to contact me and introduce herself before closing I NEVER received such call, ...

We were really excited to buy this home for our family. This is our first home that we have ever bought. The process of applying for a loan was easy, where things began to fall apart is the lack of communication between all the different areas of the company. I felt like I was doing all the leg work. And to make matters worse, the closing of our house was moved 7 times. Sometimes we knew about it a week in advance and the last few times it was literally the day before we were to close. We moved into our home with not having a final green inspection done, (it had been done, but something ...

almost 3 months behind schedule even though all supplies were here, would tell us 2 more weeks so we checked everyday, no one was working on house. When we were told a home inspection which we were paying for could be done work in house was not finished you didn't even have a water meter here. One wall had no electricity at all, we were told it was repaired and it wasn't. So many things not taken care of from final walk thru and house was not cleaned. Not sure what ever happened to customer satisfaction but Lennar has none. Neighbors on both side's had same sort of issues. Nice homes ...

Please keep away from Lennar. They tell you one thing and then do something in the back. When questioned, they say, "oh my mistake" etc or delegate that messaging to someone else. No one really takes responsibility for the mistakes.

The Lennar purchasing experience is a never ending resubmitting of paperwork, seemed like on a daily basis. The interfacing with the utility providers appeared to have never happened. Delays on water/sewer, because the proper forms weren't filed, the CATV took a month to get installed. Electricity was the only one not causing a problem, because they already had it turned on. Even after the sale, they kept contacting us for forms they lost somehow. Professional is not in their vocabulary. The sod in the yard is the worst job I've ever seen. Careful not to injure yourself trying to walk across ...

Lennar messed up on the grass installation date that led to ALL the grass dying that Lennar had installed . I went by my verbal conversation with Kyle because I trusted him. When things went wrong he and the managers either went mute or told me to show something in written otherwise they can’t do anything. My total expenditure for this goof up is $3.5k!! Shane started telling me all about when the grass needs to be installed that Kyle or no one else mentioned when they should have. On top of that he said he won’t talk to the landscape company to see if they can give me the builder rate ...

The construction manger was/has been great. The title department was the worst!!! I have NEVER had such a horrible experienced. It’s been 4 months since my closing and last month I was looking for final/completed/signed documents in the portal (that you push so much), to find out they were not there. I had to call title to get them. Defeats the purpose of your so called portal. You have been a failure in almost every aspect of the experience. I say almost only because of Shane the construction manager.

I have been around home building my entire life and have never seen a house get built with such lack of care. There were so many things that stood out to show that one the contractor is either way to rushed. Or two they just don’t care. Walls with very little or no paint. Tile that didn’t get grouted in places. Brick work that looked like a little kid did it. List goes on and on. This is just the builder side of things. I have plenty of complaints for the entire company.

Don't Buy a House From Lennar

This review is not in regards to the location, the neighborhood, the local schools, etc... It is strictly about Lennar. I purchased a home from Lennar at the end of May 2019. My experience with Lennar before and after purchasing the home has been terrible. This company lacks communication, consistency, and quality, among other things. When we agreed to purchase the home that we liked, the closing date was originally set for early June 19. Lennar contacted us and said that the closing date could be moved up to mid-May. We agreed to that closing date. When that date finally came around, I ...

This whole experience has been terrible. Lennar employees have zero communication skills. They don’t return your phone calls, and they don’t communicate with each other until you get upset and ask to speak to their managers. When you put a work order in they don’t show up for services when they say they are or they close work orders without completing any work. The HOA fee is a joke and when we first were looking into this subdivision they told us wifi and trash were all included with our HOA fee. Well that was a complete lie. You pay separate for everything. If you move here you are stuck ...

Overall, my experience with Lennar has been extremely disappointing. As a homeowner, I trusted that I was purchasing a safe, well-built property. Instead, I am dealing with serious safety hazards, potential structural/plumbing issues, and a lack of accountability from the builder.

The only positive thing I have to say about my experience is Evelyn on the loan side. She was extremely helpful in helping me! She literally did multiple jobs, because others were not. Multiple things went wrong through the whole process. First time buying a home and it’s been nonstop headache. I haven’t even made my first mortgage payment and my fence fell and Lennar refuses to fix it. Been w/out waste service and was getting the run around and come to find out, you have to have it set up w/ HOA. Issues arise, I put tickets in. They get marked completed. Nothing‘s completed. The issues I had at my final walk-through still have not been done even though I’ve also put in more tickets and those have also been marked completed. I do not think there is insulation in parts of my house because the walls are paper thin I can hear people talking outside the vehicles on the road sound like I’m sitting in the road. I have a gas leak that has not been checked, even though I have made them aware. Also when they sent people to clean the house, they left the owners manual in the dishwasher and it ...

My tenant noticed gas leak smell at home and only resulted to finger pointing. Lennar pointing to Appliance Company and the Appliance Company pointing to plumbing and Gas Company. The Gas Company then pointing to the others. When nobody is taking ownership I expect Lennar to bring all of them together and get the issue resolved. My experience has been very painful 2 months into the purchase. Also at the purchase time I was not told that HOA is going to take trash ownership too. The entire experience was trash from start to finish. Poor communication, wasted time, mixed messages, and zero follow through. I had to chase answers, repeat myself, and deal with unnecessary confusion that should never happen in a basic transaction. The only good part of this experience was Ana. She was helpful, responsive, and actually did her job. Without Ana, this would have been a complete failure. Everyone else dropped the ball. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience

First off the experience was terrible. The only good thing is that the house is put together mostly right. Only here a month and a breaker went out already. I the buying process we had to drop 23,000 on closing costs because lennar did not cover anything. No offer or nothing to cover any of the cost on top of paying 261000 in a loan all because we did not use their loan officer or lender. We did not use their inspector either. The yard was done terrible and they only put in grass 15 feet from the back door. Our yard is at least 60 feet by 60 feet. The house was dirty when we arrived with dirt ...
