The entire experience was unpleasant. We have also had several big water leak problems. The warranty may cover the problems but does not cover lost wages or other expenses due to the issues. Highly recommend better quality control. They build them so fast that they miss a lot of things.

Overall, service was great. The lender, salesman, and superintendent was very responsive. We did have issues getting keys. I also wish Lennar would install some basics into the house, even if I had to pay for it a bit more. For example a garage door opener or shower doors. The workmanship was not great, but was fixed for closing and I didn’t like the video walks.

It’s kind of a long story but they basically stole money from me. They have been completely dishonest. Lied and kept giving me the run around. I am currently in the process of filing an official complaint with the Texas real estate commission. This is my second lennar home. My first home I purchased in Jarrell Texas was a very positive experience. The San Antonio location needs a serious overhaul. All of the reviews are negative and it’s always about them basically stealing money from people. I may look into trying to contact all the negative reviews and try and start a small class action ...

Very bad communication and lengthy warranty claims

I got sold a pretty affordable home. I had to put in a warranty claim to fix the floors and it’s been almost two months as of writing this review and it’s still not done. I’ve attempted to get a hold of people from Lennar all the way up to the CEO and have had little to no communication. They closed the warranty ticket over a month ago while I’m still waiting on a flooring company to come and rip out all the LVP flooring and replace it. I will never suggest someone buy a Lennar home at this point and highly discourage doing so if you can help it. No one has reached out to attempt to make ...

Great home for the price

The house is really nice. You can tell some of the contractors just rushed the job and do not take pride in work. For the cost though it is worth it. For example, where the driveway meets the garage door is not level, there is spilled concrete in the driveway and near the garage door. Door hinges and screws are painted rather then be tape off when painted. All little things though.

This is my 2nd Lennar home and it does not measure up to my previous experience. I paid more for my current home and received less perks. The construction was also rushed and I have been experiencing problems. Granted the Customer Service team is quick to reply, I am just not excited when I find additional issues to report.

I wasn’t told that only primer was painted on the walls therefore I would need to paint the whole inside of the house. The house didn’t come with towel racks in the bathroom. The house floors were not clean. I had questions during closing but couldn’t ask any because they made me do my closing online and by law the lady couldn’t answer any questions. They put a mandatory tree in the backyard which only goes out 10ft. If this tree grows big the roots are going to mess up the foundation. Also, the grass they put down was already dead leaving several people with brown grass.

I purchased this property as a single-family investment for long-term leasing. My buying experience with Lennar was good overall. Generally, there was someone at each step of the way to ask questions of and keep me informed as to what task I had to attend to next. My biggest complaint would be the length of time it took to lay the sod and put in the trees on the property. Their target was to have the sod and trees in "seven to ten days after closing". Instead it took them three weeks from closing which meant I was delayed that long in being able to show the property to prospective tenants. ...

The home is great, but having to deal with the HOA is a pain in the butt. I do not like feeling like a prisoner in my own home, not being able to do simple things without getting permission. Lennar collects a vast volume of totally confidential information, much more than is necessary for me to be proven as a responsible buyer and payer. I do not believe this information is stored in a suitably secure manner. I worry about my identity being stolen by others or shared with others I do not want it shared with by Lennar. We sign waaaaay too many documents giving Lennar the right to own our lives. I do not trust Lennar!!!!!! Most of the staff we dealt with are great.

I was verbally promised backyard grass and 3 trees upon moving in to my new Lennar build (as incentive). It’s been 4 weeks since move in and I have 2 trees and no grass in the backyard. Lennar will do the bare minimum for you as a customer because they only care about moving you in fast! Be careful.

About a year ago I started looking at Lennar. The homes seemed affordable. I submitted an online request and they called me at least two months later. I went in person to look at a model and I was able to talk with someone. They were very responsive and the process moved quickly. The loan officer and loan process was also great! The craftsmanship is not quality. The floors were dirty, we had to ask for them to be cleaned again. The lady came to clean and she cleaned about 1/4 of the issues I presented and just left. You get what you pay for. We have had several warranty issues ...

There was workers on the house after closing, the carpet on one of the bedrooms had stain that never was clean up properly, the electric company took long time to respond for eléctricas issues. Del hoyos did a good job.
