The home buying process was amazing. It went very smooth with very few problems. After we moved in we started to see many problems with craftsmanship. Walls that are not straight. Carpet tacks that we step on in bare feet. (Fixed these by tapping them down) when internet was installed the company any was told we had multiple outlets, only one was available. The plans clearly showed others. The internet people said at least we had one. Other townhouses next to mine they actually wall boarded them over. This is why I have given the company a lower score. Being in the construction field of work, I’ve heard plenty of things about Lennar and a majority of big name builders. As well as knowing other Lennar home owners. Needless to say, my expectations were not too high. I went into this whole process with caution and with plenty of questions and concerns. I was surprised at how easy it was to purchase my home even without a realtor. I had no trouble getting my questions answered promptly. Whenever any concerns came up on the few reviews I made, I was contacted by a manager that would confront the issue first hand and they quickly resolved them. First time seeing the home I was pleasantly surprised by the craftsmanship. Although there was a lot of fixes needed to be made they were small, picky things. They fixed them all with no complaints. The materials of the townhome are cheap, but at the price I paid at the time, I expected no more. Now it’s been a month or so and I’ve already contacted customer service about a couple workmanship issues that showed up. They’ve been off and on about promptly fixing issues after the purchase. After talking to another manager I’m hoping the consistency improves. Service and warranty fixes are usually the biggest complaints I seen about these new homes so I’m hoping they prove me wrong. Sales Agent Debbie was GREAT! But be shrewd in purchasing! During the purchase process I asked if they would reduce purchase price due to rising interest rates. I was told that they don't do that. HOWEVER, after I purchased the house I found out they sold the same model of house on a larger corner lot for about $30k less than my price. I also saw on their website that they are selling the same model in a future build for almost $60k less then they charged me.

You do get a lot with the new home. Fence, grass, bark, trees and shrubs. Good luck with getting timely responses and fixes to warranty issues. They could greatly improve in this area.

I guess the house is nice. A bit overpriced for the quality of the workmanship. Responsiveness post closing has been very lackluster.

Overall service was decent, price on the property is more than what it should be

The individuals we worked with were great, but the quality of some of the materials for the price paid were below expectations. Since most of this was done through subcontractors, and given the region we live in, it is understandable that this was the case. This can be very subjective though given our move from a well priced area of the country to the PNW that is heavily overpriced for, in my opinion, no real good reason.

Customer service for issues are not good.

We love our new home. Have had a few issues, but hopefully they will be resolved soon. Quick to respond, still waiting for them to be resolved.

While I appreciate the efforts of the folks we've worked with directly, there is so little quality oversight. They are building these as quickly, and as cheaply, as possible. There is an apparent lack of quality in virtually every element of the construction. A month in and we have massive cracks in the drywall, drainage issues, paint issues, door issues, electrical issues, HVAC issues...

These are slap together homes contracted with the lowest bid subcontractors. They do NOT care about quality. They want you to believe you are their priority. Once you sign. Goodluck with any warranty repair. Their contract states they have 60 days and we have been waiting double.

I think the overall quality is poor, have had to have flooring repaired three times. Now we need to have the grouting re done and have only been in the house 2 months. The tree that was planted outside our house is dead. It was in poor condition when planted.

Everyone was helpful which was great because this is my first home.

It's difficult to get the house u want if u have a house to sell Also there is entirely too much paperwork. The prices on ur homes changed almost daily, eventually pricing me out of the home I really wanted. Have been very attentive to issues needing repair

The second realtor for Lennar homes was amazing. My score would be higher if I had started with her. First impressions are everything. The first Lennar Realtor kept playing games with us and not being honest. I finally went to the head person over this area and was assigned to a realtor who would answer my questions. We love our home and very happy with it.

First disappointment is that I wasn’t made aware of the promotions going on at the time I went to visit the community. property I tried to talked them into transferring my deposit to one of the models on promotion but got denied. Moving day came, it was a hot weekend and AC wasn’t working at all. Made an emergency call to have it checked. Found the AC had faulty wiring, 2 nights without AC. BTW, filter was also filthy and customer service did replaced it but it took 6 weeks. Garage, patio and porch are still looking filthy with discoloration. Customer service agreed to washed it but we didn’t do it cuz we just moved and our personal stuff are still a mess in the garage. Anyway it may not be worthy after all. It should not have been handed down to buyer like that… Sliding screen door wheel was faulty, and master bath towel holder is short so it keeps falling. Irrigation system in the backyard was leaking. Sewer/utility caps on the driveway was not bolted down. We encountered all these issues while moving in… It’s not the best work I expected from Lennar since this is my 2nd home. Sales experience was not a great experience. The premium lot charge was not explained well and varied from lot to lot, and was never mentionend in early discussions of homes. The construction team is a whole other story. They were great from the walk throughs to a couple of repairs needed after moving in. Well organized and timely.

The townhome is a quick build, no frills, very basic shower heads and the plastic toilets lids, single paint on walls, carpet has no pad very cheap carpet, with tack strip that was not nailed down properly and walking in the house with socks my feet get picked, sloppy trim work and texture finish

The home and sales team were great. They were very helpful. My main challenge was with the Lennar mortgage where I did not get the interest rate I was originally expected due to delays and lack of response. Then when I finally agreed to buy down the rate and signed all of the contracts and paper work then I was told 2 working days prior to closing that I could not get my rate. Very disappointed that I did not get the rate that I was expecting but everything else was great.

They had us go sign papers across town during an ice storm knowing full well that it wouldn’t record because the trades had not been able get to the house to fix the blue tape issues due to the weather. The next day we were supposed to have our final walk through. I emailed them that morning at 9:00 am asking if it was going to happen at 11:00 because the weather was still bad. No response. We drove to the house to find no one there. They informed us while we were sitting out front of the house it wasn’t going to happen so our move was delayed a week. I had to reschedule the pod delivery and movers and had to pay extra fees. When we asked Lennar to cover those fees the consulted their legal dept and in the contract it says they can reschedule with reasonable notice. Apparently same day notice is reasonable, so they didn’t cover the extra costs. The fighting with them and their lack of communication ruined the excitement of being able to move into our now home. ... More

The condition at closing was as is from the walkthrough. Blue tapes were removed without item taken care off. Issues had to be repeated numerous times prior to it being taken care off even when documented. The space to the attic and in between floor was painted shut..now either a knife or something must be use to cut out in order to assess the location. At the end, Tyler had to work on resolving most of the issues on his own in order to close. Closing was pushed by a week. I have purchased Lennar homes in the past, however this house will be my last.

If you ever want to build a house with Lennar make sure to bring a realtor on your first visit. The building process is very straight forward, you get what you get with Lennar no added features other than picking your finishes. Final finished product 6.8/10
