No Oven On Move In?

Moved into my house with a gas oven but my house was built for electric. Construction manager k ew about it during my walk and guaranteed it wld be replaced by move in day.....didn't happen. My realtor and I called every number for Lennar we could find to get the situation resolved before Christmas dinner. Took three days to finally get it. Customer service was horrible. Can't believe that happened. Manager knew about my issue and stilll went on vacation with his family k owing I had no oven. Ridiculous

My experience with purchasing this home has been nothing but frustrating. Their communication amongst the different departments need a lot of work. Be very diligent with who you work with,. Their underwriting department has “dropped the ball” and seems to be very disorganized. I Have been in my home for almost two months but have not been able to enjoy it because there are constant issues almost every week. Never meet sales associate, never had the immensities explain to me, was never told how to acquire the amenities. now at the closing the notary spent more time with me than Lennar’sl closing agent. The notary had no answers for any of my questions. When lennar’s closing agent finally arrived she could not answer questions that I had , probably into a bigger hurry to go to lunch. Now the house well prepared but lacked attention to the small details therefore I rate the house a 3.5 out a 5

Working with Title was a nightmare. Also after I signed to buy while waiting it’s like I didn’t exist to the company no updates on the house nothing.

The homebuying experience was poor. Sales staff were dodgy about answering questions and not very transparent about the homebuying process. It was a sellers market and this was an apportunity for builders to show what kind of seller they were going to be and they showed it. They quoted us a close date of March (i think to entice me to buy the house), We actually closed at the end of June after delay after delay. I understand it was a pandemic but this was ridiculous. Forced to close on a home that wasn't complete

Sadly, our experience with Lennar was not a good one. We have purchased many homes over the years, including a few new builds. The issues: 1. Late. The home was "completed" over 3 months late. 2. Forced to close. Lennar forced us to close on our house on a certain date (5/31) to meet their quarterly figures. They even told me the same. Long story short, I was told several times that an irrigation system would be provided since that was part of what Lennar promised upon the original sales pitch. Multiple people assured me this would be ok and they would take care of it. Then 3 weeks before closing I’m told I wouldn’t be getting it….. Me and my friends are great fan of Lennar! But by buying experience was terrible!! I completely understand that pandemic has changed everyone's lives but shouldn't have impacted the buying experience. The sales team was rude, mortgage team was impatient and construction manager was contactless! Just that we need a house to stay close to friends, we have continued with the purchase if not would have quit.

Lennar knows it’s brand and knows it will get customers. Therefore, the have no care or put little value in the customers during the buying stage. With the Exception of Steve, the construction site manager and Lisa, the warranty manager. First, with Lennar, they screwed us over in the home pricing. They waited until the price went up to notify us that an option we had requested could be put in. Could’ve done better with home materials

The builder could’ve done better with materials used to build the homes. Lennar at Woodcreek has slabs on the back of their homes but the Chamberlin community across the bridge does not even though the prices of the home were exactly the same. Lennar, build the street like $200k homes instead of $330k homes. If you look at other builders in the community, they’ve put in effort in providing the best stones and bricks. Lennar doesn’t care as long as they get their money. I’m disgusted and will be selling soon. Won’t be dealing with Lennar again. Unless they fix their mistake . 1 star ...

The build of the house is amazing. The construction manager and employees are awesome. The realtor we were in contact with from Lennar was so helpful. Our lender with Lennar was awful. Communication didn’t exist with her. Would no recommend using Lennar lender to anyone.
