I would not recommend this builder. They were terrible to work with prior to closing, poor communication, continued to provide every excuse as to why the property was not completed within the timelines given, extended out our closing dates as the house did not inspect in time. Any issues found during the walkthrough were to be addressed within 14 days after closing. We are over a month out, and warranty issues have still not been completed. In addition, we have experienced window leaks, and poor craftsmanship throughout the home - obvious they rushed completion and did as little as needed, without care for the buyer. My home buying experience with LGI Homes was great from my first interaction until closing and beyond. My sales rep, Nick, was phenomenal. He guided me through the process, kept me informed all the time and made my home-buying experience hassle free and joyful. His professionalism and personable interactions every step of the way made me feel as if I was "his only client". And, after closing, he has continued to provide unparalleled customer service. Along with Ryan, another amazing sales rep, they truly understand the importance of "after purchase" service. My construction manager, Mike, was also amazing. He has been top notch even after the sale and closing on the home days, weeks and even months after the completion of our home. We had a small issue on communication after closing but they took accountability and fixed it immediately. That's great customer service! I bought the Guadalupe plan here at Ghost Hollow Estates. Beautiful home and great price, but the workmanship needs work. The house seemed to have been built in a rush and we were left with a lot of cosmetic issues. We are still waiting for them to get fixed and it’s been over a month. Only one major issue, our water heater pipe broke, but that was replaced fairly quickly. Other than that, quiet community and friendly people. Overall decent experience, but beware... you will have tons of cosmetics issues!

Everyone involved met and exceeded our expectations. Our questions were answered. Our concerns were addressed. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about LGI's quality in both our new home, and their staff. Wonderful experience! Thank you so much!

The buying experience was great. I wish LGI homes offered some customization to the buyers. That would have been nice to put my touch on the house. But overall the finishes are good. Responsiveness to work orders could be better. I have reached out a couple times and would like some communication even if they received the work order and acknowledging it.

I liked the LGI interaction and management during the process to acquire the house.

The fact that the subcontractors such as the roofing company are complete garbage. No way should shingles come off a brand new house in a 50 mph wind storm and LGI’s customer service regarding the issue is lacking.

I kept going back and forth with FHA and VA, VA and FHA. I finally stuck with VA. They were very patient with me and they got it done. I couldn't be more pleased. This is my 2nd LGI home.

Poor workmanship on all cabinet drawers. Heating vents not properly installed. Broken sewer pipe under house. Slow leak at water meter.

Great to work with up to the closing. Excellent communication, Their preferred lender was quite competitive regarding interest rates and actually better than most on closing costs. After four weeks, the house seems solid. The only constructive feedback I have is that there hasn't been any real follow up regarding our satisfaction. There were a few "punch-list" items that were discovered during the final walk-thru which were supposed to be closed within two weeks but I had to do some chasing via my real estate agent to have them addressed. I suppose that is expected as I'm sure their quite busy. But, overall, they're good to work with and they ultimately take care of issues. ... More

Over all it was exceptional, great customer service. Very good follow up and closing. Appreciated

Not a good experience.

The excitement of buying a new home goes away once you move in and notice all the details where workers just were careless. Some people think we just should be glad we got a home. I don't think like that. I should just be glad my roof is not leaking.
