Waiting for Follow up

Covid 19 impacted our walk thru and moving in process. There's been no work or follow up in the 2+ months we've been in the house. No 7 day check in, no 30 day follow up and there are 3-4 issues that need addressing. We were told 2 months ago that things will be addressed when Pulte resumes that program. Still waiting-no communication/updates. Frustrating.

Rigid Build Process, Even When Builder Can Save Money.

In an overt effort to mass produce moderate-quality homes, the builder is absolutely rigid in making changes that would save them costs of materials yet they are overtly willing to guide you toward upgrades with 600% markup margins. The only smart move with builders such as this is to purchase the home at near base price, do diligent homework on acquiring upgrade estimates outside of closing and then decide how to proceed with the builder. For us, those moves were an as-build base kitchen, base carpet, base tiles, base paints and no structural wire upgrades. Builder wanted nearly $200k for ...

Once you close you are on your own

A number of issues came up after I closed. At first the construction manager took care of the immediate corrections. i.e breaker replacements, electrical door panel, switches malfunctioning among other numerous items. Then on the weekend following my move, I was left with no outlets working in the kitchen and the gas stove not operating because it had no power to ignite the burners. The construction manager turned me over to customer service on a Thursday only to be told that an electrician would not be available until Monday. I told the agent that was not acceptable but I was totally ...

We have not had a great experience this time around. It’s our second pulte home. So many problems and very difficult to get things fixed in a timely fashion. Our last Pulte home was better quality. This time it feels slapped together.

Do not go through Pulte Mortgage, it’s been a nightmare from the start. Also, the home was completed and closed yet the kitchen cabinet door was not installed and a month in has not arrived, There are scratches all over the cabinets and poor quality installation.

I have been in my home for a little over a month. Obviously I am going to find imperfections, but there are far too many things that pop up that just show laziness. Holes in drywall, nicks and dents in drywall, grout splattered and stuck to tiles/walls, chipped grout, cracked paint in almost every ceiling corner. I've had the project manager/customer service come out to inspect some of the issues, said they would have it taken care of in a couple weeks. it's been over 3 weeks and there is still no update.

I chose Pulte because I knew I was going to use some upgrade materials. Bottom line the contractors are fair to mid. I would not recommend a Pulte home over any other reliable builder.

I am very upset at what happened at closing. Up to this point had a great experience with everyone that we had encountered. WE did the walkthrough and labeled A LOT of things with blue tape. Supervisor asked us not to take the survey until he had a chance to fix the things that were tagged. Went to sign paperwork and came back to check on the status of the repairs. Nothing had been worked on but all of the tape was off. Called our realtor and she called the supervisor who told her that he was in the house while repairs were made, and it clearly was not. He also told her that the rest ...

The home we bought was to be completed between Jan. and April with Feb as their goal. We closed June 12th. The interior of our brand new home was really dirty. We found shoddy workmanship everywhere we looked. There are holes in cabinets that expose the insulation. A week before our close we were at the property and heard a bulldozer hit our AC Unit. It knocked it off it's foundation and slammed it against the house. It was dented all over. We called and complained and we were told they would take care of everything. All they did was replace the dented exterior. The unit turns on with a ...

Sloppy work/ poor craftsmanship. It feels and looks very rushed. There are holes in walls that we are finding in random places that were missed during walk through, globs of paint everywhere on the walls even after pointing out and fixing over 50 during walk through, uneven cabinets etc. They also have an awful warranty. Flooring isn't even covered! We have only been in our home 2 months and the floor is already coming up and they are saying it’s not covered under warranty.

Pulte needs to step up their game for quality control on the use of their sub-contractors. It seemed at the tail end of the build they incurred all kinds of inferior quality workmanship and follow-up. Very disappointed. They did their best to fix the issues, but it was a head ache getting there.

First of all, thank you so much for Salesperson Josh, he is really helpful and make you understand end to end process. Because of him I want to give 5 stars but after I move in couple of issues noticed. Especially electricity, it continuously trips power, and I was stayed 10 days without electricity in Master bedroom. Still issue exist but no one cares after reported issue.

Pulte asked me many times throughout the building process if I thought I was getting a quality home. I would tell them that I can’t possibly know that yet. Now that I’ve moved in; yeah, if this is Pulte quality, cosmetically it’s pretty awful. Can’t say too much about the functionality of everything as I’ve only lived here a month, but the price of the home is not consistent with the quality. It’s disappointing finding new issues on a daily basis.

We were rushed into our new home without many things being completed first. We have had various issues with the finishing stages of the home and the exterior of the home. Paint was not and is not completed to match colors, holes in cabinets, cracked cabinets, dents on facia of appliances, stucco cracks on most exterior walls, and many other little things that add up to a move in ready home, which this was not. They are fixing things as we go but that's not good business practices if you want to continue business. Would be nice to pay for a home that is move in ready, cleaned, not construction ...

We had a great experience with construction manager till the point of closing of our new home. There were few issues which were supposed to be fixed within the month after closing. But later the construction manager backed away and told us to go via Customer Service. Incompetence is an understatement for their customer service department. They aren't communicative and sounds like they want to finish our call in a rush. We get work orders but nobody shows up on the designated day and subsequently our work order get pushed out.

Paint is of poor quality and very thin. Finish work is lazy and lacks detail required of finish work, trim is done with 45s in some places and just pressed against each other in others, house was super dirty when we got keys, the ac filters were so clogged it was making a whistling sound because the air was going around the filter. Counter top was cracked they tried to say it was a fissure and then changed the definition through out to fit their benefit. The house was lazily went through with touch up paint that ended up on cabinets and other places that it shouldn’t been on. A substance ...

While we love our new home there are shortcomings. The delivery was rushed and felt as if there were numerous items either damaged, not working, or missing or unfinished. We moved in almost two months ago and only one item of several has been addressed. We still don’t have cold running water, but the vast majority are damaged or cosmetic items. While the price you pay is subjective I feel we paid a large premium for a sub par product in the end with slow service after the sale. There are only so many excuses of trades not being available and supply chain issues which is why we rated the ...

During the final walk thru we found problem with, cabinets, flooring, tile and roofing. Numerous work orders were put in but either trade people did not show up or they did not attempt to fix the problems. When you pay 1/2 million for a home we would expect quality workmanship. I believe builders are pressured to get homes built. Our Project Manager tried the best of his ability, but if the Contractors don’t Care then there is not a whole lot he can do on his own.

We have cosmetic flaws, some more unsatisfactory small pea size pit and chipped wood exposed on exterior surfaces the of the cabinets; to minor blemishes, cracks in paint at joints or filled in cracks to conceal, but visible; to a huge crack in the bottom shelf of the wall cabinet likely caused by installation of the under cabinet lights. These have been reported on their Customer Service website, but have yet to be resolved. The cosmetic blemishes can be overlooked, but the cracked cabinet makes the whole gourmet kitchen upgrade unsatisfied and we feel we overpaid. Its been 6 weeks since ...
