In the midst of the virus, we understood there would be delays and we were in no rush. We expected a home that was move in ready and that we would find few issues. We were very disappointed to find a lack of professional craftmanship, lack of attention to detail and low quality of materials used (paint, windows, cabinets). The home was far from acceptable when they scheduled the final walkthrough and we delayed the closing. After the rushed closing, we had the entire inside of the home repainted because the flat paint could not be touched without leaving marks. After more than a month, we ...

The overall experience I got from Pulte were not good. Sales representative were fine with all my questions and requests. But when it gets to see the quality of work and material you get from Pulte not as what they advertising. I have found many things that are not worked as professional. They are not responsive to the issues I found around the house and reporting them. Overall I was expecting to get good quality of build and material when I am paying a good money for it.

Quality Build Issues and Nonresponsiveness

This is our third new home build and the worst. Pulte is building too many homes too fast. Supply chain issues and worker shortage has led to many build quality issues and subpar work by their subcontractors. Field Manager does not keep promises that were made for items to be fixed so that we would close on home. We have had build quality issues throughout and it has been many months since we closed with nothing being addressed.

Not a "quality home" as advertised. When you ask something to be done after closing, they will kick the bucket around. Be really careful with Pulte Mortgage.

Started off really well. Toward closing Pulte sales got very short and non communicative. Pulte finance said that everything was good and then pulled out 3 wks before closing. Not very helpful

We we able to purchase a spec home, we were able to see it from the framing stage and on. The framing seemed completed with quality. However once drywall went on and the end stages of the house started coming together is where I had to monitor the house closely. There is absolutely no pride in anyone’s work anymore. Thank god I was able to walk the home on a daily basis. The superintendent was good to work with, but there was so many cosmetic issues. repairs that were completed, were actually worse in some cases. It was stressful trying to catch everything. Sales person Charmaine was great. Not so much after that. All of the people I have dealt with say they will help and please rate us with high marks yet they don’t follow thru with items unless you bug them to no end. Our plumbing totally backed up after 3 days. That should have been an indication what we were In for. Iam sure now they will be even less responsive.

Kitchen cabinet paint job wipes off with water. The wood is bleeding through as are the repairs done either on site or the factory before we took ownership. Drywall finish is shabby, with several lines throughout with drag marks visibly present along with bad patch jobs. Continue to have missing trim in the master bathroom, glass for both showers were a week and three weeks late and installed after closing. I could write a book about all my frustrations with my new home and working with Pulte field staff. In short, they have promised us a lot and delivered on very little. Lots of items remained to be fixed or completed at closing, and after 40 days not much as been fixed. The only way to get things done is to send angry emails. Paint was spilled by the painters on the brand new carpet, and the tile on the kitchen backsplash is crooked. My Pulte field manager really doesn't care about fixing any of it. Staff as nice as long as you do exactly what they say. The quality of the paint on the inside is below one star. The designs of the homes are beautiful, but the workmanship is fair at best. Tiles are unevenly placed. Did I mention paint? The plants they put in the front yard our dollar store Quality and they put trees right next to your house. It’s kind of disappointing given how much you pay.

I would tell future customers that pulte does not care about thier homebuyers and that they will continuously talk about thier reputation but have no interest in fulfilling that reputation. The house looks beautiful but truly should bot have been a pain for a home buyer to have to make so many complaints or work orders for what should be a walk in ready home.

It is impossible to get a response whether it is via the portal, in the office or the 1800 number. The friendly service received during the sales process (although not always efficient) leaves a lot to be desired once the keys are handed over. We have not moved in, 60 days after signing, and there are multiple issues that Pulte is leaving unresolved. Completely frustrated. Highly recommend to plan ample time between inspection, items getting addressed and final signature. This is our 2nd time building with Pulte Homes. The first time back in 2008 was SUPERIOR and this time was less then stellar. We had a great time designing the home and hoped it would be like our last. Upon delivery we were shocked at the low quality of our home and the errors that have been overlooked. Broken promises

We had high hopes. Workmanship is subpar Paid extra insulation in walls and roof which was not completed. Construction manager stated he thought we would not find out. Irrigation flooding front yard. Back wall falling down. It feels like we are living in a remodel in a brand new home. Pulte mortagage unresponsive and fees are astronomical. Pulte design center is the worst. They don’t know what included or what extra options. The price for options is ridiculous. We are heartbroken with experience, we had high hopes.

Holes still needing repaired. But all we were told was when do you want painters? Did our walk through and marked up a lot of cosmetic items, holes, missing items. Come to closing and sign our paperwork to be told the painters are still there. Oh and we haven't scheduled cleaners. Painters used all types of finishes on all walls, trim is half painted, sometimes even changing from flat to semi gloss to flat again on the same board. We have been here over a month in our new home and we can’t fully move in because of all the issues with this home drywall fixes, paint on our new $28,000 floors, electrical, plumbing, concrete, painting. The on-site crews were very attentive to resolving issues before closing. After the closing, however, has been a total disappointment...zero contact confirming issues to be addressed. No emails, texts, etc. from customer support. Issues with low quality garage door panels with obvious manufacturing defects then blaming winds. Extremely disappointed in customer service after the home closing.

It’s was not the kind of experience we were looking for. House had multiple issues before closing. We closed on the house. The project manager promised us to repair all those issues before closing but didn’t happen. After closing when I asked when he will repair those issue, he told me to call customer care and he doesn’t work at this location anymore. I had to get in contact with regional manger to get the ball rolling.
