Our experience with pulte mortgage was anything but pleasant. Our loan processor was always difficult to reach and constantly misplaced documents during the process. The last week of closing they were completely non existent and added much more stress to the process than was needed. Our loan processor would never reply back to our calls and emails.

My wife and I were very excited for this purchase. After giving our initial deposit to reserve our property is when the issues started to happen. The first issue was Pulte Homes asking us to get pre-approved for the loan through their lender. I walked into this deal with a pre-approval letter from my own lender (which happens to be my employer). Per our sales rep, upper management didn't care if I had a pre-approval from my lender they needed me to get one from Pulte. After doing so the process through Pulte Lending was very laughable. I structured my own loan through my own lender (plus my lender gave me certain incentives since I am employed by them). For starters the processor and underwriter conditioned for unnecessary documents/information. So rebutting those conditions was a treat. Second, when my own lender was giving me a rate .5% lower, Pulte's LO stated he was going to fight "to get me a better rate". Turns out he was able to match the rate BUT using the 8k cash to close provided from Pulte to buy down the rate....yea nice try! At that point I chose to just lock my rate with my lender and move forward. The closing portion of our home was a nightmare! Our celebration walkthrough was a nightmare. Our dates got moved around several times (which I understood due to inspections), what got to me is that NO ONE BOTHERED to communicate this to us. We were scheduled to close Friday June 25th...on my way up to get my keys my loan officer tells me that she was just notified by the sales rep that the final inspection from the city had not been completed.....it was scheduled for that prior Wednesday. So you mean to tell me that Pulte knew 3 DAYS in advance about the final inspection missing and they failed to tell us? Afterwards it was a series of daily calls and txt to get this deal done. In the mist of all this the foreman in charge of the build assured us that our home would have a "deep clean" since there was paint and drywall splatter all over the place. The day we moved in , our house was still a complete mess AND we found out master bedroom closet door unhinged! Rather than dealing with more excused I just paid a 3rd party to get these issues fixed for me. ... More

Very bad experience buying my first house, there are already 4 repairs in less than 2 months, 2 water leaks, washing machine, and clogged drain, I want someone to contact me I no longer feel safe I want them to do a general inspection

Pulte sales department was great, they had answers for all our questions so we always knew what was the next step and how to be ready for it.

Our sales rep and construction manager for our home from contract signing, during construction, and final walkthrough were very professsional, patient, and understanding of our eagerness were responsive and answered our questions. We love our now finished home, it is everything we wished it to be.

The financial side and Josh, the celebration walk worker have been great.

We have been delighted with the whole process from beginning to end. We are thrilled with our new home.

The customer service experience was great during the home buying process. Once you've closed and moved in, it's a different story. Prior to moving in, I hired a home inspector to perform an inspection. There were a handful of findings that were claimed to be fixed. The field manager was going to send an email with the pictures showing (roof, attic,) the findings on the home inspection have been fixed. We occupied the property in May. I sent a follow-up email to the field manager and I am yet to receive a response. I understand they are busy but it's almost two months, and yet no response. Since we moved in the AC has stopped working for a couple of days, starting to see cracks on different walls (inside and outside) throughout the house. ... More

This is our 2nd home that we purchased from a builder. The first one was from brookfield, and had ZERO issues with them. And they where way more modern with all the minor things in the home, white cabinets weren’t upgrades... they where included, the minor accents and door knobs where way more modern then the ones pulte has to offer. There are sooooo many obvious problems with pulte home, we moved in and right away noticed the craftsmanship and detail to work is wayyyyy off. They cut a lot of corners and nobody from pulte was overseeing the contracted work that they hired to build our home. Broken roof pieces , leak stains on California room, cracks in our cement, very noticeable cabinet mistakes. Screws have been punctured all the way through the roofing and noticeable on the overhang by garage. One of restroom tub has a constant drip. Our sprinkler system was not working properly. And this is only 1 month into living at our home.can’t wait to see what 1 year has to offer. And let’s just say... I’m documenting EVERYTHING, just in case it has to go through the court system. Another thing is the PULTE mortgage was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! They didn’t have there stuff together, they asked for same paperwork 4-5x and the representative would talk down. Even after signing the same paper 4-5x they still sent a request to sign the same paper 3 wks after living at home. Overall they where not organized. BUYER BEWARE!! Like the warranty, but did not like the small details missed like toilet paper holder in master bath, the noisy air fan in master bath that won't stop pinging all through the night, missed paint areas, the dishwasher not operating correctly (no one has contacted me back yet), the fact that this supposed to be a smart home and it had no 220 plug in the laundry room and only 2 cat 5/6 outlets in the entire home (this will cost me money to correct), and I do not like no HOA due to the various people (non owners) allowed to move in here via different rental services (had I thought that through I would not have purchased here) ... Pulte put us thru a lot stress, by demanding dead lines on situations that were beyond our control. Promises on the home were not kept, The communication between your departments like your lending department and sales office was extremely poor. I was told that concrete was going to be placed on the Side of the home, and later denied.

Pulte as a builder was great to work with. The site manager ensured all my concerns were addressed in a timely manner. Vanessa, our agent with Pulte provided top notch service and was a tremendous asset throughout the process.

Had much higher expectations for Pulte. As much as we love our house there are so many flaws in the construction.

Flexible selections for your upgrades.

Brand new home and already experiencing leaks in sink, cracks, paint coming out. Also, boundary vinyl wall was supposedly changed for a dent and that hasn’t changed even after a promise to change.

Ron our Builder, Vanessa our Sales consultant and Colleen at the Design Center were the best part of the lengthy process. They were all so helpful, knowledgeable and helpful. Ron made sure we’re knew everything about our new home from inside and out. Vanessa was our first point of contact and one of the most helpful people through out the build. Anytime we had a question she was always there to help or find answers. Colleen at the design center made picking and choosing our home furnished so easy and without pressure. You think you know what you want until you get there. She answered so many questions, listened to my concerns and didn’t make me feel pressured to upgrade anything we didn’t want. The financing with pulte wasn’t my favorite and the title paperwork at the end felt rushed. Tesla has been an annoying process but other than that; it was overall positive. ... More

Still waiting for repairs, master bathroom mirror, fan switch in the master and family room and very unhappy with the baseboards there a 1/2” to 1” gaps from the door frames throughout the home. Some areas they did correctly but for the most part it looks terrible
