From our first phone call with sales we felt completely at ease. Romina was professional, knowledgeable and very patient. We had taken our time and visited with the other builders in our subdivision but hands down what Pulte had to offer was incomparable. We were included every step of the way. Our Construction manager Ryan was an absolute dream. He addressed any concern asap and would follow up and keep us in the loop at all times. He was patient in explaining every inch of the house and is still available to answer any questions. Kudos to Pulte to for building beautiful homes and having a great reliable team. This is my 4th experience with a new build and I would have to say that it was the worst of the bunch. Much of this may the project manager’s blame but a lot of it isn't. Let’s start with the home’s backyard. About 3 months into the build process we were informed that 2ft of our (already small) 10ft yard would be taken up with a retaining wall. This ended up being 5ft of our yard. Plus, around the time that the retaining wall was completed, maybe 5-6 months into the build, they informed me that they would also be putting a railing around the Patio because they didn’t dig deep enough and the patio sat too high. Code necessitated the railing. These changes basically make our small backyard pretty much unusable and completely changed the makeup of our home. It’s like we have a giant condo. On the day of closing our home was barely cleaned. In fact, the cleaners were still in the home when I arrived and were rushing to do a cursory cleaning. They didn’t do a great job and it felt much like moving into a worksite when we did move in a day later. That’s when the real fun started. I think the workmanship suffered because they are building too many homes at once instead of taking the time to build each one correctly. Each home, even other homes with the same model and elevation is done differently. A big issue I had was that an outlet was installed in the middle of a mirror. I checked the other home across the street which is the same home and it was not installed this way. It was installed on the side of the mirror. I realize this sounds small but it isn’t. The way it was installed on my house reminds me of something from the 80’s. No modern home of decent quality does it this way. The warranty team has refused to change it. Another major issue was our gas line outside that moved in and out. The project manager recognized this when we walked through early on but never addressed it. The warranty team did their best to secure it but it still feels pretty lose compared to what it should be. The gas line. Our microwave was hastily installed a day or two before closing. It has never worked. We have been in the home over 2 months now and we still don’t have a working microwave. Instead of Pulte replacing the microwave for us, they have opted for us to work with Kitchenaid directly through the warranty to acquire a part that may or may not exist. Tbh, I don’t know if we’re ever going to have a working microwave unless we shell out the 2k to install it ourself. This isn’t nearly all of the issues we’ve encountered. The list goes on and on but these are some of the more major issues. I would just be very wary when dealing with Pulte. Besides their amazing sales rep, Romina (who has since moved on), and the friendly warranty rep, Jay, I have little good to say about the company. ... More

The sales agent was difficult to work with. He was inexperienced and often misleading especially regarding the home taxes and bond obligations . The builders financing process was a complete cluster and anything but a process. The construction team failed to complete almost the entire punch list that was provided weeks in advance of close with items remaining to date, months after close.

Overall we are happy with our home purchase. Our sales agent Amy went above and beyond to make sure all our questions were answered throughout the process. Our field manager Mike was good to work with. He made sure to address any concerns and ensure we were happy with the final product. And finally Trish with Pulte Mortgage went above and beyond to take care of our mortgage needs. Thanks, Todd and Veronica.

Overall the experience was okay. It seemed going great at first. Then our sellers agent from Pulte went to another community last minute that wasn’t communicated to us. Leading up to closing we kept getting move in dates that were not even accurate whatsoever by building manager and sellers agent. We understand nothing is solid ever but didn’t like they were giving us solid numbers/dates and it wasn’t even close to what was said. The actual closing day was memorable in a bad way. Being a first time home buyer I was hoping/expecting more than just signing a few papers and a walk out the door. We were told we were going to be able to move in July 13th after papers were signed and then the week of we were told that we won’t be able to get our keys until later on in the day after the papers were approved by New Mexico. I had to re schedule the my movers to the next day that I had to pay a re scheduling fee for. We didn’t get our keys until 4 pm. (“Your keys are ready. They’re in the drawer by the over”) which I found unprofessional. There were many things wrong with the interior of the home that we were not happy with and some things we are still not happy with. Cracked door that needed to be replaced, scratches on countertop (still Fighting to get fixed), TERRIBLE paint job inside/out, drywall work was done bad, stone work on exterior was bad, siding was a 3/5 (exposed nails, loose siding boards), some trim boards in interior of home needed to be replaced, drawers in kitchen needed to be adjusted as they were not closing properly, outlet to dryer needed to be fixed, bowing on entry wall (interior) that needed to be fixed, and the biggest one of all is the AC unit. These 2 story homes SHOULD be built with two units. One for the upstairs and one for the downstairs. Seems the builder did what was barely required to pass code but the upstairs barely cools down when AC unit is on. Since it is “technically” built to code, there’s nothing we can do about it. We understand heat rises and it’ll always be warmer upstairs but to have to dress with shorts and no shirt uncomfortable upstairs is not okay in my opinion. I recommend not buying a home with 2 levels. Building manager also was switched after the day of closing from Mike to a man who goes by “Jay”. Seemed like he tried to find every reason to not get some of these tasks fixed or resolved. For example: first day I met him I told him about exposed soffit nails and his response was “oh that’s normals. That’s going to happen over time (soffits were put in a month before moving)”.I told him it was not normal after a month of installation. He argued back and said it was, not knowing I work for an exterior siding company and when I told him he felt a little uncomfortable. Another example is he was arguing with me tooth and nails that the scratches in our upgraded black countertops were not scratches and that it was part of the grain pattern in the stone AFTER one countertop professional came and said she couldn’t polish it out because the SCRATCHES were underneath the seal. Another countertop specialist was then sent over to confirm that these are scratches and a work order will be developed to get it fixed. (As we were told since closing date that it would be fixed anyways). The one person as far as building managers out there that is true to his word and gets stuff done is a man name Ryan. He bas been straight forward and says he gets stuff done when he said he will. Great dude! Overall we do love our home truly. The design of the home and the space of the home is what we wanted. We just wish that the contractors that worked on the interior took more pride in their work because you can tell. Seems like they are rushed to throw these houses up. Luckily my wife does interior designing on the side and made this house look amazing! Mixed feelings about Pulte right now. Hopefully time will change my thoughts. ... More

The sales and financial experience with Pulte is awful! Starting from the purchase: we designed our home without knowing about other houses that fit our lifestyle better. Since moving in; we have heard nothing from our sales representative. The design center has no idea how to assist a new buyer. They are supposedly design consultants .. not sure where the consulting comes from. Do your research. They won’t help! Purchase a $700k home means nothing. Pulte finance .. do not use. Awful!! They are misleading and do not care about you as a buyer. The house .. however .. beautiful!

We are very pleased with our Pulte home. During the building process, the team faithfully called every week on Wednesday’s with an update on status so that we stayed on track for closing. Any issues that we had after closing were dealt with h promptly.
