The team at Pulte group was customer oriented. Keeping us informed of the progress of building our new home. Their warranty give an extra piece of mind.

For what we paid…we are shocked at how many problems we have. A punch list is expected, but you’re only as good as your subs. And they are terrible. House was filthy upon moving in…walls/pillars visibly not straight…many windows had scrape marks on the trims…paint all over our wood floors which also had quite a few dings (and this was a very expensive upgrade)…pocket doors scraping the jambs (both of which have visible damage)…many broken roof tiles, etc. The list is too long, and many of these things should have been caught by our super (who we like very much) if he had only spent a few minutes to look. We were told that the cleaning crew (after we complained how dirty it was) they use is terrible by our super. He has told his bosses this, but they continue to use them. And that says a lot… The house is beautiful, and we love the neighborhood…but very disappointed in the quality. ... More

Our new home build with Pulte was a really good experience. We are very happy with our Pulte home purchase. Our project managers were very responsive, easy to work with, and cared about our satisfaction. There have been a few after-move-in issues that have also been responded to timely. We have one exception. Our appliance package doesn't all match. Our contract read Whirlpool appliances. We have a Kitchen-Aid refrigerator that doesn't match the other appliances. We brought this to Putle's attention well before closing. Our project manager and warranty manager have both submitted requests for resolutions. But we/they have not heard back in now eight weeks. Two weeks ago, I spoke with a sales team member who said they would check into this issue and be in touch. To date, we have not heard back from sales either. I have even offered to purchase the correct model refrigerator from a local big box store, transport it home, and install it with reimbursement approval. ... More

The Villa is very nice. and generally happy with it. However, attention to detail for a $500K+ Home is very lacking. Found many areas of poor workmanship: Cable wire boxes not connected to the wall, light switches not level, missed paint spots, paint spatters on tile floors, sink stoppers hard to operate, m is wired electrical outlet, door hinges with paint and glue on them, door frame casing not properly aligned and many more items. Pulte was responsive to our issues but they should not have happened in the first place. Check everything you can prior to or during pre-close walk through. The quality of the home met expectations....some of the normal details that need attention will need to be addressed on the next visit to the home.

It was an easy process.

Quality of work was very solid. Communication, not so much. We had 3 different construction managers. The last one was excellent, but prior to that, unless we asked what was going on, we got very little communication.

We lived in Illinois and loved Florida. We found a development that Pulte was building in South West Florida. The process took place in the middle of Covid and Supply Chain issues. Everyone on the Pulte team were all professionals. Throughout the process from the initial signing, design center, construction process, closing and post warranty work the Pulte team kept us updated on the progress and kept us informed. At closing the house was thoroughly cleaned and the construction manager had the majority of items completed from the punch list items before our walkthrough. We received exceptional service from Pulte from start to finish, and beyond. There were no gimmicks in the initial contract phase, choosing our building plan and options/upgrades was a breeze, and we were kept apprised weekly of the build process. The service and contact far exceeded our expectations. The fit and finish of the build is very nice, and Pulte staff was readily available from the final walk-through and closing. We not only feel we chose an amazing builder but we also made some new friends at the company along the way, which is a nice bonus!

We are so happy with our Pulti home! Derek and Angel were super responsive. Every question was answered quickly, every concern addressed right away. The construction site was kept clean. There were a few concerns we had (AC vent not centered in hallway) and Angel had the trades on site to address within days. When we asked something via text or email it was responded to with in 24 hours. Even when the questions were about mail delivery or community issues like water Presure- I was given and honest and respectful answer. Post closing We still see Angel and he asks how ever is. He even emailed me the paint colors so I could get touch up paint. We are so pleased with our home and would recommend Pulti as the best builder!!! ... More

The sales person Hannah did a good job keeping us up to date with the build including tons of photos since we were out of state buyers. The construction manager returned all my calls and answered all our questions which made the process less stressful. The only issues were timing which thanks to Ian and supply chains were understandably beyond Pulte's control. Our closing team was very good about fixing last minute issues including making a few last minute changes that saved me a lot of time and effort when I moved in and was very much appreciated.

From the buying experience to the closing and the time thereafter I am more than happy with Pulte. I would recommend the company to my best friends.

Pulte did provide what was contracted and overall we are satisfied with the finished product, even though it was over 2 months late., However some , "fit and finish" and punch list items remain unresolved after over 30days. Text, emails, person-to-person contact with the "Construction Sup" have resolved only some minor issues. But remaining issues : Missing expansion joints on Concrete garage floor, excessive gaps and leaks shower door are still remain unresolved .

Being out-of-state buyers, the Pulte people we dealt with were friendly, knowledgeable and great communicators. They helped to guide our decisions in the features of our new home. They explained everything that was going on with the process and kept us informed in a timely manner as construction progress through Zoom and virtual tours. During the final walk-through Colton clearly explained the features and operation of our home. The Pulte Homeowner Guide was especially helpful. Our construction manager Ashley was very helpful and professional. Our realtor even mentioned that our house was the neatest and most prepared new home walk through he has done. Pulte's warranty team responded quickly to fixing 2 out of the 3 issues we found with the new house in the first 30 days which we very much appreciated. We are enjoying our new home.

It is good to have your own real estate agent with you who is knowledgeable in new home builds with Pulte. The builder does not have your best interests in mind in many cases, so it is very helpful to have a impartial experienced advocate. It also is important to know that when you do your structural meeting with the sales team that they will hide a lot of things from you. There are many options they won't show you and they will mislead you based on what they have been told to push. You should ask to review all available options even though it takes longer. Ask questions about the options. If you wish something could be done, ask what option would make that happen. Hopefully your sales person won't lie and say something can only be done at the design meeting when it has to be done during the structural meeting because once you lock in the structural contract, it cannot be changed--no matter what. Also, be aware that if you want anything other than the default pool, you need to separately schedule a pool design meeting. I love the fact that Pulti has dozens of inspections from start to finish. I wish the buyers could have more than two home inspections. The tile company really needs to do a better quality control of each step when doing floors. Most floor jobs cover a large area and to get each step correct is critical.

Make sure you print out all contracts and sign off any changes . When you purchase kitchen appliances you want the stainless steel to match !

Overall experience was good, I’m just not use to the slow Florida construction schedule.

The construction mgr. was OUTSTANDING and made the experience positive despite the negatives. This individual is DIAMOND for Pulte. The finish work (trim, paint, hardware, cabinetry finish) is poor and very disappointing. Response time is fair; the design center and closing depts of Pulte was an awful experience. I would start those depts completely over. Inadequate time for the design review; Communication on available options (hurricane proof windows) was very disappointing that we could have had them without a massive delay; the non-HP sliding doors are poor quality and no one in Pulte will accommodate us on a change. I wrote directly to Pulte corporate office and they never responded, simply referred my inquiry to the local sales office. ... More

We love our home but the trades all did a haphazard job in the house and lacked really finishing the job. Some walls not painted in closets, wrong color grout/caulk, crooked lights, drywall issues, etc. Be ready to GC your follow up work and expect lots of no shows

they had me wait to purchase the house for 2 weeks so they could raise the price and i paid an extra 15,000. The club still is not quite done, pickle ball is ready but it is hot and the beaches are not safe and we have no pool yet.
