Pulte Homes Reviews in Fort Myers, FL

We have been closed and in our home for almost 50 days and have yet to receive shower glass and missing a grate in our room housing our AHU. We were originally told it will take 25 days to receive the glass and have received no real update. We have no idea when we will receive this glass. We were under the assumption when buying a new build home, that home would be complete.

Please have somebody in a higher position yo review my problems. Tried for weeks to get someone

Pulte is clearly a quantity, not quality type company. Our home in Wild Blue was a JOKE. Justin forced us to close without mirrors or glass in the bathrooms. The entire house is full of nicks in the walls, unfinished trim work, paint on everything (not just the walls). It is the epitome of sloppy. Getting someone to care once you’ve closed - nearly impossible, unless you make your way up the chain to superiors. Justin must have mentioned his “survey” ten times insisting he didn’t want to lose his #1 spot. While Justin is a nice guy, the only reason he is #1 is because he asks you to do the survey well in advance of completion of your home, before the home is complete and before buyers can take a good look. Despite being in the position for a significant amount of time, Justin apparently forgot that we were to do a quality walk-thru before and after we closed. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN which lead us to the most frustrating, gut-wrenching, disappointing feeling after we closed. We had to BEG them to take care of some of the sloppy workmanship, even our doorbell was on crooked. Not once did Pulte offer any apologies or compensation for our troubles. They truly do not care. Building a home in this crazy home environment is not easy. Having a great Construction Manager makes a huge difference. He made sure everything was to our liking. If something wasn’t done correct, he made sure it was fixed.

My experience in getting this home built has been excellent. Patrick G, who was the field manager was unbelievable! He was very professional, thorough and responsive. He really answered all the question I had related and not related to the house.

The construction experience was very good. However the closing became an issue 14 hours before actual due to Alyssa not being current with paper work. Then at closing she left our IDs in the copy machine and we had to drive an hour back to retrieve them.

Our site superintendent Javier was great to work with. Any issues we had were taken care of promptly and professionally

Our construction manager made the difference. He was excellent. Our 30 day follow up has been on time and they have just about got everything complete that needed repaired or replaced. So far so good.

We weren't real pleased with our sales person, wasn't thorough with pre-construction options, and lacked follow up. Luckily we were already in the area and could follow construction, otherwise we would have had no idea. We had two constructions managers, Jordan and Justin, who were both terrific, responsive and stayed on top of the construction, communicated well, hit all their time lines with updates, meetings and closing. After closing your handed off for punch list items, big disappointment at this point with communication and follow through.

My whole experience from start to finish dealing with Pulte was fantastic. Cathy was my sales person she was very thorough very honest and made the transition easy.Justin was the point man at my house on the construction side he was fabulous very responsive very respectful. I would highly recommend buying a home from Pulte.

All companies are only as good as their people. Our experience with the Pulte team of people was superb. From Steven in Sales, Laura in Design and Dylan as our Project Manager, we couldn’t have asked for better people to deal with in the process. Dylan was amazing. He truly manages the project and checks the work and get the jobs done correctly, all with an excellent demeanor. Any company out there would be lucky to have this guy on their team. We would see him on site in the neighborhood checking his various projects morning and night every day of the week it seemed. Great job to all.

Sales staff are great to work with. Good follow-up / communication. However, build quality when it comes to the minor details could improve. It's the little things that can make/break ones opinion.

First I will say that our project manager was GREAT! He was very responsive and kept us informed along the way. He always responded to emails and texts from me even though I know he was super busy. We were able to close with only a few minor issues, but my problem is that we should not have to close until everything is done and addressed. Pulte schedules the closing and has no problem pushing it back if they have issues or delays with material, but YOU cannot change closing or else you will be charged. Even if you are moving from out of state and have a scheduling conflict. The next issue I have is once you close, the challenge is now getting your “punch list” items fixed. Great communication & updates during the building process due to LeeRoy’s efforts, he was super to keep us informed since we were in another state miles away from the home being built. He sent pictures, emailed, & called us, always answered our questions & took pride in his job. Kirby, with the mortgage staff, was also very helpful, kind, & efficient. She was quick to respond & her assistance was very much appreciated! Kevin has also been wonderful since moving in to address any concerns we may have. He takes care of issues promptly & efficiently & has been super helpful!

Overall experience even with the COVID circumstances delays etc. It was not bad.

Our Pulte Sales Rep (Lisa) was simply a pleasure to work with. She sent us weekly pictures of construction progress since we lived out-of-state. She also tracked issues my wife and I spotted in the pics. Overall, she helped us a lot since first meeting her in 2019. My wife and I are very happy with our Pulte home selection. During the build, Dustin was the Construction Manager. He was also very responsive to questions, making it a pleasure to communicate. We wanted to duplicate a design feature seen in the sample home requiring some movement of the existing wiring. It got done! Additionally, we wanted some ceiling outlets reinforced to hold fans in the Lanai. That also got completed. Finally, the dishwasher was delayed and arrived at the last minute. Dustin and another Construction Manager (Dylan) installed it themselves - did the wiring, connected the drains and water source. Works perfectly! I’ve researched communities across Florida and Pulte continually remained at the top. Consistently building in the best communities with high customer service and high quality homes.

Our construction managers have been very helpful since we do not live in our new home yet and are in another state. When there have been issues or deliveries they have been very helpful to us.

Home has way too many problems, poor workmanship, it was incomplete when delivered to me they have a long list to fix and complete. I will update with how well they do delivering me the home I was promised and if it is corrected, as I am still hoping for integrity and that this is an isolated situation and not their new normal.

We are extremely satisfied with our Pulte home. Initially we were going to build in another community with a different builder. However several issues came up and discussions with other homeowners led us to cancel that build. We then chose Pulte. Every single Pulte person that we had contact with over the course of the build was courteous and responsive to our questions. The materials and craftsmanship in every room is of the highest quality. Home quality is very poor in relation to the price we paid. Attention to detail is missing. Many minor issues that should have been discovered and taken care of prior to our move in. On site construction manager was not a good communicator or properly inspected home for delivery. Only bright thing is we have a very attentive customer service rep who is working thru our issues,

Lots of issues with this new build, and very slow response to fixing the issues. Thought the Pulte brand would signify high quality and dependability. Not seeing that so far.

The home buying process was easy our salesperson Melissa was amazing and always helpful. The after build process with George in charge is very comforting
