Our family has purchased five Pulte homes in the past few years. Pulte has changed. Their mortgage company will tell you they will work with you on pricing but then not match a competitive bid. Construction was a disappointment from start to finish. Sub contractors did poor work and not mutch follow up by supervision. Pulte insisted on closing on a home that was not finished and very dirty. We are still trying to get warranty work done. I understand the times we are living in but that is no excuse for poor craftsmanship or Pulte saying there is nothing they can do about it. Would definitely recommend buying a Pulte home.

I find myself keeping a spreadsheet for warranty repairs, chasing when repair people don’t show, and am now sending a weekly update on what is outstanding, not scheduled, etc. I already have a full time job and don’t really need more work honestly. Accountability or your partners is critical and accountability of Pulte to manage the repairs to be done. I should not have to chase these on a daily basis between my own conference calls for work. We are home everyday working and schedule our work around folks coming and the rate of showing up is 25% then I have to chase it myself.

Really take the time to understand your design as you won't be able to make any changes down the road. They aim to please but with so much activity, it's hard to get things done right the first time out of the gate. PM was exceptional.

Great Sales person who was there throughout the process. Fantastic Project Manager who kept us informed and quickly resolved issues. Great end product (Home!)

Marc Taglieri at sales office is awesome - knowledgeable, helpful, caring, honest and most friendly. This is the second house I bought from him at this community. Justin S. is extremely helpful in overseeing the construction process, so is Jack P ,Kylie and Bradley from Warranty/customer care that absolutely took care of any issues promptly. Victoria at design center is amazing in advising our interior options. PGP Escrow officer Alyssa K was super efficient and responsive. All great people.

We purchased our Heatherton and had a great experience with the entire team at Pulte In The Place at Corkscrew. From Justin to Lester. All throughout experience was awesome, worry free and relaxed. They made our buying experience smooth as silk.

I had an amazing experience with Pulte. Despite expected Pandemic issues, the Pulte product and its people rose to the occasion! Every facet was great from the sales person, design consultant, the construction manager and the warranty contact, we had an amazing experience. The professional and the personableness is what stood out the most! Nice job Pulte!

We were remote buyers, yet the Pulte team made sure to stay in close contact with updates, pictures and important milestones/information throughout the process, including a virtual settlement to accommodate our move schedule. Aside from the lack of responsiveness, the Pulte Mortgage process was highly questionable. 1) They did their best to dissuade me from taking a VA loan [which required a VA inspection] 2) The Pulte Mortgage interest rate was somewhat higher than an independent mortgage broker [which we took] 3) The demands for details about the origin of our cash down payment verged on accusations of Money Laundering [I wrote the framework for the Money Laundering Act of 1986]. Providing them with Wells Fargo settlement disclosures on the sale of my house in Va, plus copies of personal Savings accounts, plus 1099s showing income from consulting [all well-beyond the amount of the down payment and closing costs] were apparently inadequate. 4) Closing was 4 months beyond original schedule [shortage of materials? BS!]. The value of the property had increased by nearly $200,000 and it appeared Pulte was trying to force us out of the sale to resell to another buyer at a higher price. 5) It's now been nearly 3 months after closing, and the Pulte office has yet to address all the deficiencies documented by a professional [private] inspector. 6) Would I recommend Pulte to new buyers? Love the house, but seems there was a rush to get house finalized. Finding many issues and for whatever the reason, follow up is not what I expected from the builder. Two months in and still waiting on things to be done, some since initial walk through in January

We purchased our second home unseen. We are very happy with the quality and workmanship. We were walked through the process by our salesperson who did a great job .

Beware and make sure that you are paying attention to all details from the time of signing to the day of closing. Do not let them talk to you into their overpriced options.

No prewarning about building process style. Lack of room for negotiation. Everything is a one way decision by builder. Limited material selection. Everything is an expensive upgrade. Customer service after moved in is slow. If I had more warning up front, might have approached building differently

Easy buying process Pulte agents are great. Being in the construction business for over 30 years the quality is lacking for the value paid.

Pulte's sales process was the best we experienced while looking for a new home. They were very good at providing updates throughout the construction process. While designing our home we found that options were somewhat limited and deviations that seemed simple to us were not allowed. Standard products like cabinets and appliances are good quality. Supply chain challenges, especially with appliances, have been frustrating. The closing was stressful because there were major items that were not complete. However, Pulte stands behind their product and their team was supportive in finishing the major work quickly. We continue to work with them on the punch list. Overall we like our home and believe the structure is of high quality. We appreciate the followup on issues and the followup warranty program that will continue throughout the first year of ownership. Overall the experience was positive with some moments of frustration. We really like the sales and field construction staff. They were all very focused on delivering a quality product. It is nice to finally be in our new home and we appreciate that it was finished in 9 months in this current environment. We considered a number of production builders and we believe we selected the right one. ... More

Excellent communication with all Pulte employees. Very good follow up if there is a question or issue. Excellent construction even if you are not present to supervise the build. Employees take pride in doing a good job and service to the customer.
