The construction mgr. was OUTSTANDING and made the experience positive despite the negatives. This individual is DIAMOND for Pulte. The finish work (trim, paint, hardware, cabinetry finish) is poor and very disappointing. Response time is fair; the design center and closing depts of Pulte was an awful experience. I would start those depts completely over. Inadequate time for the design review; Communication on available options (hurricane proof windows) was very disappointing that we could have had them without a massive delay; the non-HP sliding doors are poor quality and no one in Pulte ...

Several minor finishing issues throughout

Rough finishes, no quarter round , guest bathroom clumsily designed for door opening, front door entrance had dried concrete or stucco difficult to remove, door hinges had paint. Nothing large but most minor size issues.

We had an amazing salesperson in Gita and the last two months of our build, the project manager David was phenomenal. Initially the responsiveness to issues were slow. That changed immediately when David took the responsibility of our property. Since moving in, there are minor issues we have discovered, and I am happy to say that 90% of these have been addressed. We planned on making this our forever home, therefore finding a builder with a respected reputation to quality was important. We believe we nailed it with Pulte. We would absolutely recommend Pulte to our family and friends.

Make sure you have everything complete and to you standards before you move it. Once you get your keys it take weeks/months to get what should have been complete/fixed done.

We have been closed and in our home for almost 50 days and have yet to receive shower glass and missing a grate in our room housing our AHU. We were originally told it will take 25 days to receive the glass and have received no real update. We have no idea when we will receive this glass. We were under the assumption when buying a new build home, that home would be complete.

Overall our buying experience was good from our sales agent Melissa and Luisa our customer service care representative! Due to several delays and supply issues, our building time frame was heavily impacted, Communication could have been a little better. Very Disappointing was the lack of workmanship and attention to detail regarding structural walls, sparkling, painting, door frames and outlets when we moved in. No prewarning about building process style. Lack of room for negotiation. Everything is a one way decision by builder. Limited material selection. Everything is an expensive upgrade. Customer service after moved in is slow. If I had more warning up front, might have approached building differently

This is the second home I purchased from Pulte , the first home everything went smoothly everything was in place and it was well built . The design center was informative and helped picking and choosing design products . The new purchase was a little different , the home seems to be well built, but we have a problem the design center . When picking finishes and appliances there was a problem . When picking the appliances , we were not informed by the design sales person that the refrigerator that we had pick did not fit in the opening . The refrigerator should have been cabinet height ...

Pulte requires that you buy appliances through them. The washer and dryer were installed and no consideration was given to the installation of a countertop being placed over them. There is not sufficient ductwork, gas line and plumbing to allow working on the appliances. Pulte has yet to respond.

Nice looking house but quality was very disapppointing. We built with Centex in Bridgetown when they were independent and there was no comparison in quality. . Some of the stuff we experienced was really poor quality and should have been caught before we moved in. Doors were unsafe, window frame was damaged and cheaply fixed. Panel doors didn’t close. Etc,etc.

As of right now my 30 day to do list is still not completed from the contractor I was scheduled mid December and had very little work completed between the two days. Now rescheduled for January 22. Don’t know why I get pushed back a later date. Just completed it PULTE and I will give you all five stars. Rich has been awesome....

This is my third Pulte home. I would have liked to have seen more flexibility with choices and changes. For example, we wanted to make a change to the tile on top of our spa, after the home was started, and we were told no. The pool company was willing to make the change since it was started....but Pulte sales said no. Pulte needs to be more flexible and offer some higher quality upgrades.

Thoroughly inspect home prior to closing. Have any issues addressed during the building process and before closing. Even though there is a warranty, it is much easier to have any visible issues corrected before moving in to your new home rather than afterwards. Think the quality of the finish work needs to be improved and work of contractors monitored more closely (especially tile contractors, drywall contractors, and finish (trim, paint) and held to a higher standard.

We have built several homes, but never from a distance. Initial contact and questions were handled. Decisions made by Pulte during construction were questionable and we were never consulted. Now decisions and construction quality are "our problems". We understand getting the best price, and Pulte did good with that, however the cost in attention to detail is higher than we would have liked. Still happy with the design, but we will be "fixing" our NEW home for some time to come.

We reported a dying tree 2 weeks after we closed and the Pulte Customer Service manager refused to address the issue first saying it was recovering from its cigar cut ( it was not) and then said it was our problem and the HoAs problem. He basically told me he would no longer answer any email regarding this issue. The landscaping company found out about the issue, and their manager came out the same day, looked at the tree and agreed it was bad, and had it replaced a few days later.

When contacting customer care manager or office I’m always left feeling that I’m not important to them. Too much reliance on email communication and cell phone contacts should be mandatory. The basic tone is we’re here to help with issues but you’ll just have to wait until we get back with you and not how you would like (call) but how we like (email) especially when explicitly asking for a phone call when email is ineffective due to needing to discuss issue further.

Our new home has many minor quality details that have required and continue to require attention. We have a great warranty representative that stays on top of our issues and keeps us informed. It seems as though the home was finished quickly by subcontractors without the attention to detail that I am accustomed to. In comparison, when we finished our new primary home in another state the contractor walked us through the finished product and pointed out the quality of fit and finish.
