My wife and I recently closed on our custom dream home with Pulte. This was our 3rd time doing a closing transaction and it was BY FAR the easiest, most informative, and smooth process. We have had a couple cosmetic and Warrenty repairs since moving in but the Warrenty representative has been so responsive, thoughtful, and easy to work with making the whole process as seamless as possible. We love our home and our builder and can’t wait to raise our family in our beautiful home!

As far as the building of the house had no problems at all. All done in a very timely fashion. After the build, slow to get punch out and touch ups done. 8 weeks in and still waiting on service. So be patient. Getting a small mortgage through Pulte seemed to give me the most aggravation. All in all , after everything is said and done, we're happy customers

A new house may sound nice, but do your research. While my wife and I thought we were getting the best deal at the time I think we rushed into the decision. The 4 months prior to closing became nothing short of making you think you made the worst investment of your life. We went with Pulte because of the experience and quality we believed we were getting. Our appraisal came in at the cost of the house (even though the appraiser had to go back 1 year to find those comps), but measured smaller than the builder put in our contract. There were several issues with the Pulte Rep and getting us answers or providing bi-laws for the association and Master Association. We found cracked tiles, rebar sticking out of the wall, off centered studs behind the walls, cracked cabinets, and damaged floor boards under the carpet upon closing...just to name just a few things. While we fought tooth and nail to get things replaced before we signed our name on the dotted line; Pulte went as far as a threatening letter to say that we would pay them per day we did not close even though the house was not of quality they promised. While Pulte has a warranty typically you have to go through the process to get things done (which can be a long drawn out process) and we wanted it done before we moved in. The closing itself was a breeze and we are quite happy now that we are all moved in. If I were to do it again, as nice as the house is...I wouldn't build with Pulte because it was not the quality we expected and it was not the experience we were promised. ... More

We have built several homes, but never from a distance. Initial contact and questions were handled. Decisions made by Pulte during construction were questionable and we were never consulted. Now decisions and construction quality are "our problems". We understand getting the best price, and Pulte did good with that, however the cost in attention to detail is higher than we would have liked. Still happy with the design, but we will be "fixing" our NEW home for some time to come.

Overall satisfaction is good. Getting trade contractors back to resolve issues taking much longer than expected

Building process was good. The 30 day warranty is Not Great and disappointing especially for what I paid for it. It’s a who is responsible?!! Or you accepted! This is not right

From sales to sold and beyond, Pulte and the friendly professionals we encountered went above and beyond. Extremely well built home.

Poor site drainage/site engineering planning, unresponsive to post move in problems in first 30 days (example: electrical plug for kitchen range protrudes from wall so drawer on said range will not fully close, so was told to call Whirlpool and builder totally shrugged off repair for owner to deal with) we moved in on 13.Agosto.2020 and the more than 3 foot high weeds behind home are still uncut. 2 frikkin months. Email replies state give the landscaping company a little time after rain to cut lawns. This is a homesite design flaw that is unsightly and massively below expectations. If we wanted deep weeds and field grass we would have bought a farm. The HOA fees we pay should address this problem by correctly remediating drainage problem (standing water over 5 inches in back yard during a heavier steady rain) and also having landscaping maintenance company with adequate equipment to keep home site clean and classy looking. May hire outside contractor cut weeds and bill to HOA. Some of the inner fixtures are of lower quality (garage entry handle falls off forcing one to go outside, re enter home through front door and then close garage entry door). Interior wal finish is of VERY LOW quality, i.e. a sloppy thin skimcoat was smaered on sheetrock and drywall seams are apparant after a month. In model home walls are proper and seamless. Not sure if this endemic to our developement or company wide but this is not a first class build. Knowing what we now know, would we have a home built with Pulte? I think not. Having expected better build quality than I would have had with WCI or Lennar, I was surprised that obvious quality problems were not remedied before the final walk-through. An obviously mis-cut tile was missed by the construction team, so there was a visible gap between the tile and kitchen cabinet. There were also scratches on most of the windows in the house. Given how much I paid for hurricane-proof windows, that was disappointing and rather upsetting.

Pulte hit a home run here. They built my 4 bed + den/3.1 bath in just four months. I visited almost daily to check out the progress. The worksite was always kept exceptionally clean. Whenever I had questions about the construction/methods, my site manager was very quick to reply, setting my mind at ease. I've heard horror stories about other builders, so, I'm glad Pulte was at the helm here. If I built in the future, I would not hesitate to build with Pulte!

They deliver what they promise. Transparent process ... they not hide any information, everything share in the beginning and they stick to it. They gave my home before the promised date. They construction quality of house is very good. Their customer care (any issue post closing) is very responsive.

The Pulte Team is amazing - we love our new home and the whole team process that Pulte has put together is “Awesome”...including the following services: Sales, finance, insurance and amazing customer service team. We used them all and they are top quality.

With Pulte you get what you pay for - no surprises (plus or minus). Actually the fact that Pulte was able to get the job done on a normal schedule in the midst of a Pandemic is noteworthy. There was a little bit of correction needed in workmanship, but it was minor. This was the third Pulte new house we have purchased during a 23 year period, as our retirement needs changed, each with the same satisfactory result.

We purchased our home from a state 3000 miles away and it was one of the easiest homes we have built. During the sales process in selecting options Lance & Abby were professional, knowledgeable and very patient with our questions and concerns. They took the time to sent photos and information for us to feel comfortable with our selections. During the construction process Patrick took extra care in walking us through, via phone and video chats to walk through every detail of our home during the construction process. We were very impressed with quality and care taken to prepare our home for our walk through prior to closing. There were a few minor finishing issues we encountered during our walk through however, they are being resolved in a timely manner and Ryan has been very responsive to our needs in working around our schedule. Our new Pulte home is beautiful! The design options to choose from were plentiful. We are pleased with the Pulte staff; from the sale office, to the field manager, to the builders. Highly recommend.

We loved our experience!

The home plan, site and space is awesome. We have had several kinks. While all responded too, I’d say it’s because too many contractors are involved.

There is a long list of things that I am very pleased with, but I am sure the minor things that could have been better are more beneficial for any firm. Here is my list of changes I would make: - The grass was laid haphazardly and there are holes and empty patches all over the yard. - Our shower door does not close all the way and allows water to leak out - The grout was not sealed and displays each and every drop of water or dirt stain instantly and permanently.

I purchased our Home in December 2019. The builder has been on schedule and professional. Even during the Covid-19 they pulled through and delivered a quality home for us! I will definitely refer them to my Canadian Friends to buy from them.

I had a great home buying experience with Pulte Homes from start to finish and even post-sale. I highly recommend Pulte Homes. The quality of home is amazing as well.
