Our family has purchased five Pulte homes in the past few years. Pulte has changed. Their mortgage company will tell you they will work with you on pricing but then not match a competitive bid. Construction was a disappointment from start to finish. Sub contractors did poor work and not mutch follow up by supervision. Pulte insisted on closing on a home that was not finished and very dirty. We are still trying to get warranty work done. I understand the times we are living in but that is no excuse for poor craftsmanship or Pulte saying there is nothing they can do about it. Poor site drainage/site engineering planning, unresponsive to post move in problems in first 30 days (example: electrical plug for kitchen range protrudes from wall so drawer on said range will not fully close, so was told to call Whirlpool and builder totally shrugged off repair for owner to deal with) we moved in on 13.Agosto.2020 and the more than 3 foot high weeds behind home are still uncut. 2 frikkin months. From the beginning we felt as if we were getting a raw deal. When we came to pick out the lot and house we were on a time crunch and had only two days to make a decision. The sales team was nice and they drove us around to look at lots and the property. We got back to the office where we chose a lot and chose a style of home and chose all the structural choices. Buyer beware! Think twice before buying a Pulte home!

The standard home they sell as advertised, is NOT what anyone would settle for. EVERYTHING to do with this house has a ridiculous upgrade price; both structurally and decorative selections, even the lower end of the upgrades are way over priced. Most of the items you pay extra for should definitely be standard on a new build in Florida. The subcontractors they use are bad and they are poorly supervised. Quality of craftsmanship inside POOR. Very Sound structure.

Pulte builds a SOLID structure. The quality of the inside craftsmanship is more like I’m moving into a remodeled home. Or let me put it this way, when I buy a new car I expect a NEW CAR, without a scratch on it. Or I bought my home based on the Model home. Pulte would never sell homes based on the craftsmanship of my home. The paint job is horrible, clumps of paint, heavy brush strokes, uneven walls, the baseboards (not wood but MDF Cardboard) are grainy, spray painted the dirt on the floor onto the baseboards. The home was not completed, had a gigantic list of cosmetic issues that weren't small. Very poor quality build, Pulte as a whole can care less about customer service. I would never recommend a Pulte home to anyone that I know and I would never consider purchasing a Pulte home in the future in any capacity. My advice.. Run....
