Make sure your electrical outlets are not put in the corners where walls meet in the bathrooms. Get salesmen’s promises in writing. Don’t buy a model without speaking to an owner of one. Be prepared to be at home for “Punch lists” to be addressed.

Pulte builds a decent home but the pricing of the homes are getting out of hand. The actual development is beautiful and that's what sold us on building in this neighborhood.

To many major issues within 2 weeks after closing roof leak, 2 different granite color on island also water line crossed for filtered water connected to shower not fridge. Then had to cut hole in drywall to repair. These items should never happen in a supposedly quality home!!! I will give credit to them for getting on items for repairs thou warranty people been real good on getting repairs done. ... More

Let me start by saying the Pulte mortgage was a nightmare experience. No professionalism no communication whatsoever then you assumed it would get better once you get into the house Pulte cut corners and lot of different area lack of power outlets lack of communication with the pool I was getting nobody went and explain to me what type of pool I was getting. I thought I was getting a bigger pool lack of knowledge in maintaining the pool nobody had has still to this day explain to me anything. Just as certain areas of the house you can see Corners were cut but it is what is this you live and learn. it was not a total nightmare there are other builders that are a lot worse but all I'm saying you can see Corners were cut to save money. if you want to build a better company and take pride in your name start by having the process from beginning to end be a smooth and pleasurable experience for all communication is key when it comes to a person spending half a million dollars on a house communication is key that they get everything they think they getting. I don't care Pulte mortgage operates separately they still hold the Pulte name and they are tarnishing it,and whoever Works under the Pulte name and doesn't communicate properly to their customers. buying a home it's a long difficult expensive process. I totally dissatisfied with the pool that I received within the first week certain things in the house we're falling apart that should not happen in the first week I spoke to certain Neighbors and they said that's Pulte which is sad. Again there are other companies that are a lot worse this is not my first time buying a home but this is the reasoning why you guys get a 3-star you guys can do a lot better and offer a little bit more for the money we are paying not a lot more just a little bit more little better quality and better communication. ... The only thing i would give 5 starts to is the response and effectiveness of Customer Care Manager Chris and the Building Home Manager Loren. Anything else i would rate very poorly. The quality of the materials and home is very poor. Not withing 32 days and the brand new dryer breaks. The poor quality of the paint in the house. Not even a good welcome from the sales department. You are pretty much left alone to figure out you way around with the community. Was not given any directions or instructions as to how to get into the community with the sticker and fab was not even activated, if it wasnt for Loren we would be so lost. We have bought cheaper homes and gotten far better welcome than what we have gotten from Pulte. The quality of the materials used in the homes are very cheap. ... More

Settlement was poorly executed. We were remote and everything was last minute. No consideration for our existing plans. Once documents were deliverd and explained it went well but getting to that point was not good. Wouldn't use Pulte's settlement company again!! ... More

the contractors that were used to build our home home didn't care about the workmanship very sloppy have a large list for warranty work to be done
