In this crazy time with supply issues and home prices continuing to rise, we feel we got a great house in a new community. I think building with this builder, although we knew supply issues were a concern, they were able to keep the construction going and delays were minimal. Happy with the process. Erick our project manager answered all our questions and listened to our concerns.

They work fine, that is only small details which easily they can fix.

This home delivery experience was not good. The project manager was in a rush to change his job and he did not care about the situation of the property at the time of closing. So, we need to deal with the warranty teams to fix what was not ready at time of closing.

When purchasing a new home, Pulte was at the top of the list due to competitive pricing and variety of models. I graded 3/5 stars for the quality of the home since we closed on a home that was not fully completed (missing tile installations, grout not fully completed, dishwasher not properly installed) and 3/5 for responsiveness to issues because it took a month before Pulte scheduled workers to fix these outstanding issues. We closed on the home at year end hoping Pulte would be able to fix all these things quickly, but it has taken time to get workers scheduled to do these items (almost a month later). For the majority of the work, it is good quality. It all depends on the local contractors that are being hired to do the work. Our 3rd party inspector said Pulte did a solid B rating for our home during the predrywall inspection (it's difficult to be graded as "A"), and at final walkthrough it was the final touches that was missing (such as filling in marks in drywall and paint correction). Also, one of the bathrooms is completely unusable due to a water pressure issue since the water does not run in the shower and toilet fills up slowly. The trustworthiness of the Sales Rep and Field Manager we worked with were amazing during the building process. Field Manager would send frequent weekly updates and answer questions in a quick manner (sometimes minutes after text is sent) and the Sales Rep would help resolve any other outstanding questions (such as HOA contacts). If I were asked if I recommended Pulte to others, I would say "yes" but don't expect perfection and know that you'll likely have to wait for fixes to be completed. ... More

the quality and finishes is not good for what it costs

We were pushed to close on time even thought the morning of closing the house wasn’t 100% complete. We were not in a rush and we’re happy to wait until the house was completed. They were still tiling the backsplash and had several other loose ends to wrap up. The majority of the obvious work was completed but it took weeks to finally get a cleaner in there to finish everything up. After we occupancy we had a major water backup issue. The drain line was clogged with construction debris and caused water to flood the downstairs bathroom from the toilet. The emergency response team for the warranty was amazing. They had a plumber and a water remediation team out within hours. I was happy with the concern and urgency they displayed. I do feel like it’s a problem that could have been easily avoided. I feel like everyone was rushed at the end in order to get us to close before the house was ready and people got sloppy. I’m sure it’s common for the main drain line to get clogged. They could have avoided a bad experience and big mess if they had just tested it. The house design is beautiful. However the construction workers are somewhat sloppy, careless, and needed closer construction manager supervision. After delivery, we found so many construction errors that could have been detected and corrected prior to closing. I do not want to mention error details but the list is long. The good thing is that the post closing construction manager is on top of our requests. He has been able to correct several of the mistakes. But the saga continues… All other aspects of the buying process went very well.

Need to follow up more to get things done

Everything was great except for the fact that we have not yet received our appliances we purchased through Pulte. Also, no one has communicated when we might be getting them. We have reached out multiple times but have been ignored. This is not how this should be handled. I expected more from a large company like Pulte.

Overall good experience. There are good points and not so good points with new builds as there are with established homes. Pulte is very responsive to the customer issues. Field Manager Joe took care of us and Adam is super with our warranty calls.

The house had a lot of issues before closing, some of then were supposed to get fixed and they never completed them, we had to submit a second request.

The home buying experience was great - but now that I’m in my new home- huge disappointment- light fixtures have detached from ceiling and I haven’t gotten a response from Warranty people in a week— worse yet roaches were in my residence after carpet was placed- I thought issue would be resolved—- I have an infestation- probably due to a dumpster overflowing with trash next door that has been a hazard for over a month— HELP!

Over all , it's alright, but needs to concentrate more on finishing touches.

Not really one of the best builders around. People on the company not really customer service focus “think more and company than customers. Field manager “tony” hreat worker and person.

Are garage door was painted the wrong color I told pulte about it and nothing was done.

Everyone that we directly worked with was great. We love our house location, style, and layout. However, I feel like for the price we paid, the quality does not match. It seems like corners were cut to put cheaper material in where just doing it right the first time would have been better. When you find beer bottles in your home during the construction process you really question who is actually building your home. I think for the price point, Pulte could have done better subcontracting trades.

Having had a Pulte home built 21 years ago, we decided to purchase another Pulte home.

My experience was good, only I lacked that at the time of showing the property in this case the model house to emphasize what the house does not bring, such as improvements, in this case, better floors, the dashboard, the metal, and wooden handrails, improved walls. I understood that the house was delivered as it was taught to us and when I received it I was disappointed that what I had seen and bought was not what they were giving me and all because the sellers were not clear at the time of showing the property.

This home building experience was different than my previous two. It seemed that Pulte was more concerned with meeting deadlines than making sure the homeowner was happy. We have submitted several repair request that could have been avoided if the closing date wasn't the number one priority. Overall we are happy to be in our home but extremely dissatisfied with the process.

Pulte quality and finish is very lacking . Internal finishes not great . Brickwork on driveways and porches are like armature brick layers . Painting & drywall could really use a more neat finishers . Overall I will rate the home @6out of 10 .

I wish they would not rush closing and complete homes on time fully. Many items left unfinished and rushed through

overall was a good 3xperience, had to pay a ridiculous amount of money to postpone my closing due to contingency home contract fall apart, also the workmanship is not as good as other builders at least on the finishes and some structural, responsiveness to the issues I have is not good, still have issues and warranty request was put over a month now and nothing done

I'm extremely dissatisfied with the on-site builder manager, Ryan. Despite multiple attempts to contact him over several days, he didn't answer my calls. When I finally managed to reach him via message, I was shocked to hear him say that he's not a handyman and can't visit my house. All I wanted was for him to stop by and take a look at an issue with one of my equipment. Unfortunately, the problem remains unresolved due to the lack of concern from anyone.
