The day I met the builder was when I felt like I really was purchasing a home. The finance team was wonderful as well. However I’m in my home now and it’s going on 60 days and I’m yet still waiting for things to be done in my home which communication has stopped on.

Bad customer service and inspections issues without answers from builder.

Nothing special, just some basic build quality.

Erick is very knowledgeable company should use more upgrade materials in their homes. Ok

The home buying/building process was easy. It does take a long time and expect delays. Make sure you note any issues with the home as early on as possible but don't expect it to be fixed quickly. I'm still waiting 7 weeks after move in for issues noted during construction.

Fine details and finishes needs lots of improvement. For the price you paid, the finishing on the house was poorly done. Makes you worry about things underneath the surface that is not visible to the eye.

Can be a 1000 times better communication is the key to success

Pulte builder sells itself as one step above the other builders. I've worked with 3 builders in the last 8 years and Pulte is barely as good as the other builders. I've found that their people only care about one thing: Reviews. I didn't appreciate how many times they mentioned it. Due to covid circumstances, our house closing was delayed by a total of 5 months, which I don't hold them accountable to. It's what it is. The house itself is well built, nothing special compared to meritage homes for example. Some of the materials used and insulation, wasn't as good as meritage's for example. Things were not smooth since start and then issues with construction, delay in the closing and now going through the issues that I'm seeing in the house that were noted at the time of closing and here after 2 month still not fully taken care. And seeing the how much least bother the Pulte group is in resolving these issues. I would recommend to buy some older house instead.

Contacting the office and emailing the person and not getting reply. On a almost 3 weeks long issue

Wondering if they are doing quality control, kitchen cabinets have a lot of dents, tears and almost no door handle are straight! Cabinets installed in the wrong direction, holes made on the bottom of the cabinet and when reported, poorly patched it and made new holes thinking this is acceptable! Mirror in bathrooms looks used and have chips! Wood stairs have visible nails everywhere and some coming out and cutting your feet! Spindles are not properly fixed, promising date for completion, nobody shows up or call and then no follow up are made, and answer to messages or emails look optional, I don’t have all day so I’ll stop here!!!! ... We didn't build. We purchased an inventory home being used as a model home for 1 year and closed in less than 4 weeks (around Christmas). During the celebration meeting, I pointed out issues such as dirty/stained grout, repainting needs, whole/gap in cabinet, broken sliding door handle, sloppy work in the master bath and other areas, as well as overall wear and tear issues given that the home was used as a model. While the issues were minor and fixable, I felt that I shouldn't have had to point them out - Pulte should've caught them and fixed them prior to the celebration meeting because poor workmanship erodes trust, which is the biggest challenge builders have now. While most issues that we identified were resolved by closing, we are now dealing with other poor quality of workmanship issues that we've noticed now that we are in the home (leaky faucets due to misplacement; electrical issues, etc..), which somehow weren't noticed (or addressed?) during the time the home was used as a model. One particular area of concern is that we/our neighbors have faulty drainage issues that creates water saturation in our properties, which the neighbors indicated they have been trying to resolve with Pulte for 6+ months, so I'm concerned about the timeline in getting issues resolved. What I noticed and what several neighbors have mentioned, is that homeowners have to keep following up to get their issues resolved - I'm sure supply chain backlogs due to the pandemic may have impacted this, but don't know how much. I'm scheduled to have the first round of issues resolved within the next couple of weeks, 3 weeks after I first brought them up and followed up, so I would be lying if I said I wasn't concerned. While Pulte planned on nice homes and materials, the inferior workmanship of several trades standing out in the homes and the following up service is also poor and unsatisfactory!

Where do I begin? Pulte and specifically, its staff is stretched thin on local construction coordinators/managers. That, along with just very little oversight caused lack of quality control during our build process. I was basically their QC person each time I visited my home during the construction process. The homes in this neighborhood range from $600K+, but the quality of workmanship and materials is that of a house less than half that price. Pulte communicates one message prior to closing, but once you've closed, they don't communicate the same way. Furthermore, their Warranty folks appear to be inundated so its rare to get a response or any action on any items you've submitted. All in all, a below average experience for the price paid. This sentiment is shared by multiple people who live in the neighborhood. I don't plan on moving anytime soon, but when I do, I will 110% avoid buying a Pulte home or recommending a Pulte home to anyone else. ... More

Builder should hire subcontractors that will put more attention to details and final completion before handing over the property.

Not quick response to construction issues before or after the closing.

The builder promised everything would be clean and ready to go when I moved in. I had to call back after my move in date to have everything cleaned. They did not have my keys at the signing. There are gaps letting bugs in under my exterior doors. Warranty company told me to have the brand new house fumigated for bus because they were “already there when I moved in” even though they claimed they fumigated before I moved in and they were suppose to clean before I moved in.

In the beginning they were attentive to ant little problems but since moving in they tend to ignore you and things do not get done. To rate them as excellent would not be telling the truth.

I had to switch lots because the front elevation of my original home was drastically changed and would no longer allow access for my physically handicapped family members. There was no communication from Pulte about the change, I discovered it during my initial walk through, after construction had begun. The new lot was a compromise on my part, as it did not have the same benefits as the original, but I decided to go with it. Switching lots slightly delayed my closing date, but I was mostly able to transfer everything over from the original contract. Upon closing, the tiles in my bathrooms had to be ripped out and replaced because they were wrong and I spent the first few days in my new home allowing access to tilers. I have a laundry list of items that will need to be addressed through the warranty. Everything from crummy paint jobs to crooked installations. While many things do look nice, there are also a great many details that look like they were lazily slapped together. One reason I chose my new lot was because it had no rear neighbors. I was told the area behind the home would remain green and lush with trees and grass. Less than one month after closing, my HOA fees went up $30/month because they “forgot” to add insurance to the monthly assessments. Less than 2 months after I moved in, the green area, newly planted trees, and quiet bike path behind my home were ripped out to make way for a parking lot. The beautiful, natural view I was promised would never change is now a dirt pile awaiting ugly asphalt and concrete, to be filled with strangers’ cars, not 10 feet away from my driveway. There has been no communication from Pulte about the change, I have been trying to get information from them on how/why this decision was made, and how/why Pulte feels they can change an agreement after they’ve taken our money. Not to mention they’ve been working on this parking lot for almost two weeks, and the heavy equipment being used has been shaking and rattling my home to the point that pictures have fallen off the walls and items are being shaken off of shelves. I am angry and frustrated with Pulte for one instance after another of pulling the rug out from under their customers. The ladies who work in the sales office have been as kind and helpful as possible, but they can only do so much. Pulte needs to step up and treat their customers with integrity and honesty, and keep their word instead of changing the terms after a contract is signed. ... More

Me and my fiancé had a very difficult time with our mortgage consultant and I highly recommended that you check in regularly because communication was not good at all in my experience. The house is great although we’ve had a hard time getting people to fix little things that’s in the warranty

The quality of the workmanship and the materials used are very poor. After 3 months of owning the house, I am still waiting to fix 5 issues. They don’t care, they don’t return your calls or messages.

Workmanship is worst I have seen. Never seen brand new homes with this many issues with my past builders

Since I moved I have home issues but Mr King came 1 time after that I summit my request nothing was done. Also dumpster truck company started to work at 5 am this is unacceptable because we have kids and dogs sleeping at this time. and others words super intendents only sleeping in the trucks all day. Contractors block streets and do what they want . my next review is going to google.

Still waiting for things to be fix.
