I will never do business with Pulte again. The Company only cares about the bottom line and they know that once they’ve got you in a contract they have the upper hand, so they will take advantage of that. If you’re considering buying a new home, stay away from Pulte. There are plenty of other builders who will offer you the same warranty they do, but they will treat you like a customer, not prey.

The build quality and finish is below expectations. I never expected this from pulte and will not recommend friends to buy a home built by them. A new home doesn’t look new it looks like construction team was tried to complete this project asap.

A lot of things pasted inspection in my house and was not complete. My refrigerator is damage. I still don’t have my light fixtures. No head on my pipe out back. Door installed incorrectly and still not fixed. Touch up paint do not match on the outside. I really expected better.

With Pulte, I never felt like a valued customer. The construction was several months delayed which made the home several ten thousand dollars more expensive. But, of course, they found reasons why everything was delayed. However, no one could explain why only my home was delayed and not the others on the same street. However, eventually, Pulte named the house completed. However, Pulte seems to have its own definition of 'quality.' Bad finishes

We did a walkthrough of the house even though it was not complete. The house was far from complete; we came up with 4 pages of items to be fixed. Not minor issues but major ones. We flew from NJ to FL to be disappointed with the house. Construction manager kept giving excuses as to why it was not complete.

Increase in the value of the property overnight, even with our verbal acceptance the day before, we were forced to accept the new price. Lack of support at closing when the appraisal established a lower value than the contracted value. Delay in responding to warranty calls, and always directing us to resolve directly with the manufacturers, not giving us any support with this. No action by the construction company to solve the problem that everyone in the condominium is facing with high water bills.

It was a long and painful experience. The last part of the completion was awful to say the least. We didn't like the way we were treated by some members of the construction team.

The home was delivered to me very dirty, windows improperly installed. The tracks of the sliding glass doors were so filthy, it took me six hours to clean. The frame of one slider was bent and still is bent.

I have very bad experience with Pulte . Before closing 3 days , we walk through house and we founded so many things which are not properly installed . This is my second home purchase with Pulte and almost might be my last. It was a true headache from the beginning with the sales center and lack or attention to detail and communication. The saving grace was the field managers who actually communicated very well and helped along the way. If I was to purchase again and saw the same sales team I dealt with I would leave. Pulte Homes has had a good reputation, but unfortunately I am very disappointed in the entire buying/building process. 1. Pulte sales told me the property is not in a flood zoom but actually it is. Two weeks before the closing I was told a flood insurance is required because it is in a flood zoom. 2. The house was built with three car garages but with a narrowed drive way only allowing to access two. Make sure the mortgage lender, field manager and closing agent are in communication. Ours was a case of poor communication. Spend hours during walk through to make sure the faucets and electrical components work; check proper installation of sliding doors; run sprinklers, check sewage pipes are intact otherwise sewage will flow out on the lawn. Check if tiles especially the backsplashes are properly laid out. Ours was sticking out from the wall and could not be fixed other than breaking the wall. I would buy from the sales rep 100 times over and the the site manger is great too. Warranty team is poor, talk a great game but poor delivery.

We do not have any issues with our sales consultant. The issue is in the quality of the materials used and the workmanship. We are also having a difficult time in getting Pulte to respond to repairs that are required. I would recommend that you tour a completed home prior to committing and do not use the models as your guide for materials and workmanship.
