Cannot reccomend Pulte homes enough, from start to finish the process was world class and we LOVE our new home!!!!

Most recently your contractors were plugged into my electric to use it as they worked on the new build next to me. I discovered that in 7/5 when I was outside. We closed 2 months early on the house, which was a mess and the internet was not working and I still don’t have the pool heater working. My pool company/cleaners said the heater is not holding pressure? that has to be addressed and we were just able to move into the house 6/20 bc we were not expecting to close early and we have jobs and so on and I had a June water bill of 235$ with no one living in the home. Which leads me to believe my outdoor water spout was being utilized for the new construction next door as well. With all of the rain the pool company had not been putting water into the pool so I’m not sure why my first water bill would be 235 and yes we paid 135 bill as deposit to water company separately. Apparently this goes on and neighbors that I spoke to about it said it goes on all the time. But it’s stealing, which is a crime so I’m not sure how it can just go on. I had other experiences along the way, some were good and some not great. To be expected. Good home, but they could include a better cabinets, handles and appliances for a half million home.

Our experience with all Pulte employees has been great. The salesperson, the interior designer, the construction manager, and the warranty service coordinator have provided excellent service. They were friendly, responsive and effective.

We have been building homes since 1985 and Pulte has been a pleasure to work with and by far the most stress free! Pulte not only delivers a quality product but they stand behind it!

I can’t even begin to waist anymore energy on Pulte, worst experience ever. Don’t even consider using Pulte. I am so disappointed in everything especially looking back at all the red flags. I’m embarrassed.

This was our first new construction and overall, it went very smoothly. Our construction manager, Sarah, and quality manager, Angel, were great -- very responsive and highly professional in caring for our home every step of the way. Wish we'd had the opportunity to create a little more customization in the build, however; ended up doing some thing that would have been a lot more efficient and inexpensive had we been able to choose them in the design phase, Quality of materials is good. Biggest complaint is the landscaping -- scruffy plantings and pine straw for ground cover look horribly cheap and hardly a good compliment to the overall home. Planning to tear it out as soon as the HOA will allow. Would have been better to give us an allowance or closing credit and choose our own plantings. ... More

I love the home, but the purchase and move-in was torture. Many things were a problem. It's been a month and most are fixed but some are still pending. Even so, I hear that other builders are worse. So, in comparison they might still be one of the top builders.

First off, the people that work for this company are great. The responses I get and the customer service have been wonderful. That said, if I could do it all over again, I would purchase from Lennar or DR Horton and save 60 thousand dollars. The home is of the same quality as the other builders in my neighborhood but you pay for the Pulte name. Here are just some of the issues I had upon moving in. AC duct work in the attic was never hooked up to the vents in some areas. I’m missing insulation in some parts of the attic. The built in stove was never wired in and I had no way to turn it on for 2 weeks. The refrigerator water line was never connected prior to closing. I am missing an exterior electrical outlet by my front door. Several cabinets are damaged. The weather stripping around the front door and garage entry door is missing in places and I can see sunlight coming through. These are just some of the issues. Like I said at the beginning, the Pulte team is great and as a former DR Horton owner I appreciate good customer service. The overall home product is no better than the other builders and you are only paying for the name and the reputation Pulte had years ago as a premier builder. ... More

We love our new Pulte home and the road we took to get here! It was a great trip, from our first visit to a model (just to look around) where we met our rock star sales rep, Christine, to the quality build and the interaction with our awesome project manager Blake, to a smooth closing day, and finally move in and the great service provided by our warranty super hero Alex!! We are so glad we selected Pulte for our move to Babcock Ranch!

What a horrible experience dealing with Pulte and its representatives as a whole. Between Tim, Andrew, Cindi, Kathy, Josh, Bryan - You all took away what was supposed to be an exiting chapter in my wife and my lives. We were not in a rush to close. YOU rushed this closing because all you care about it the all mighty dollar. It started with the Mortgage company. ZERO communication until Fridays at 6pm to tell us lies and make us think we would not get the house and little to no explanation. We didn't get final approval until a day before closing. This alone cost us $5721 in additional rent because we couldn't give our 60 day notice in time. You should compensate us for that. We would also get "change orders" multiple times via email. No call to explain what or why, but we were expected to sign them so you could keep the process moving forward. You lied on the advertising about the home stating the lanai would be caged in. That cost me $1478.68 to have completed (You gave me $500 off the price of the house) You changed the seller concession so many times i don't even remember what it ended up being, but i promise you it wasn't the amount we agreed on when you accepted our offer. Lets get to the final walk through before closing. Damaged cabinets, damaged microwave, chipped tiles, holes in walls, scratches in the glass. Your attention to detail is unacceptable and we were told we were too picky. You didn't even send someone out to replace the damaged cabinets. They were mailed to our house and I installed them. The power washing company was supposed to have already been there the day prior. They didn't show up until after we closed and then wanted to use our water to do it when it should have been done when the water was in your name. We were told we would have paint for every color interior and exterior only to find out the painter in the area took them and tried extorting us to get the paint. On the day of closing, when we arrived home for the first time, we were greeted with wet paint on doors, the cleaning crew spreading dirt and dirty water through out our new home. (Made them stop and leave) No internet and no solution to get it working. My wife and I had to go on a scavenger hunt to find the garage door openers and manuals for all the appliances. It's a shame you don't care about the people who help contribute to your 15.6 Billion in revenue almost 3 Billion in profit! Congrats! ... More

Over all a poor experience. It started with the sales consultant who is less than forthcoming in regards to the contract we got to point where we were going over everything and she said I’ll just email the rest. It’s a standard contract included in the contract without any discussion appliances and window coverings what we should’ve done, sat there until it was done, and everything was clear. Construction manager was very attentive and helpful. However, the final product had that fell off within a week and was missing a plug in the kitchen required carrying out the brand new tile which is still not replaced and we closed on 3/1 The closing people wanted to rush the closing and my wife had medical issue that we had to postpone it for week and it was like the end of the walk we’re not showing up for walk-through. Did they bend over and change it to customer service for me I would not recommend or buy another Pulte home. ... More

Fabio our construction manager at Northridge in Babcock Ranch consistently exceeded our customer service expectations. From our telephone introduction to final walk through his professionalism, follow up and communication defined exemplary customer service. Well done Fabio!

Love the Ashby model. Love our view on the eagle preserve of Northridge. Once we closed the follow-up on issues was poor. The Pulte people are nice and well-meaning, but they are obviously pushed to move on to the next house.

Very pleased with our Ashby model. All went well as presented. Can’t thank our Pulte representative Fabio enough for a perfect translation into our new home and Dan’s follow up topped it all off!

We weren’t familiar with Pulte homes or with large building companies although we had 10 houses built for us over the years, so we “took a chance.” Happily, the promises made were promises kept. We were kept informed from framing to finish. We moved in right in the middle of promised date range, and the house is beautiful.

Poor quality of vendors used, and warranty process falls on the homeowner to turn into the general contractor to handle the vendors for repairs.

The homes are built so fast that there is limited quality assurance: heat pump not wired correctly, sewer line blocked by construction debris, lawn sprinkler control faulty, paint and drywall residue on floor tile, seal around front door has a gap that sunshine can be seen through and the list goes on.

Hard to get responses from our construction manager as well as our customer service rep after we closed. Miscommunication caused us to not have the proper elevation package we asked for. Had major issues with our AC and dryer as well as minor issues with our dishwasher and street drainage system. Our sales rep Christine was great and very responsive, but getting help fixing these issues from the rest of the team was difficult, took a long time, and we only received responses and action by constantly following up and complaining.

This is our second Pulte build the first one was great. The second one left us least impressed between water issues and drywall splitting and the lack of care when finishing the home. We spent a lot of money to have a beautiful home and as we walk through the home everyday it just feels like everything was rushed and issues were overlooked.

The builder was great. The face to face meetings were very informative and helpful. Wes, our construction manager and Christine our Sales consultant were outstanding!

My overall experience was good. I am sure just like every other builder issues come up. I was not a fan of our construction manager as nothing seemed to get done until we closed and I started dealing with the Warranty manage. Dan has been amazing and I cant say enough about the help he has been. He truly cares and tries to resolve everything as soon as possible.

it's been a good experience - all the way from shopping, through purchase. some minor issues but being handled very well.

We have built 2 houses with Pulte in the last 2 years and the experience is great. Tanner, Sarah & David were great to work with. I highly recommend Pulte as your builder!
