Sales rep and construction managers were great with communication. Finance in CO not so much (multiple handoffs, missed call, unanswered questions but no show stoppers). After closing customer care could be more responsive and and verify unconfirmed appointments. Overall very happy with process and product.

Overall a very good experience. Closing took place on time. Now awaiting completion of punch list items following move-in.

We struggled with turning on some essential utilities such as Internet, Gas, problem with dish washer. We still have major issues with sprinkler system leaks that wasted thousand of gallons of water, a front window does not shut, no hot water to our laundry machine. It is difficult to contact Pulte home warranty team. However, the house itself is pretty solid against IAn storm, just 2 of our roof ridges were blown and a few minor items outside the house.

Overall experience up through closing was fairly positive. For a production type home ,Pulte does a good job. But every new home always comes with some after-construction issues. While Pulte goes out of their way to promise that these mostly minor issues will be promptly dealt with, in reality their response to rectify these issues has been less than promised. It seems that once closing is completed they just dont care as much. It's been more than 2 months since we closed and we're still waiting to hear from them on when these issues will be resolved. We've called, emailed and texted numerous times but still no response. Buyers will be encouraged numerous times to respond to ratings requests and told that these are very important for employee ratings satisfaction evaluations. My recommendation is to tell them that once all issues are satisfactorly completed, only then will you respond. Otherwise you have no leverage ... More

Overall quality of the product is good but attention to details before close is very poor. Many issues would have been avoided if tradesmen and proj manager had performed final quality inspection. IE appliances installed but no power to them, lots of paint splatters on tile floor, no garage door opener etc. Easy items to resolve if final inspection actually performed. Lack of transparency on when we will receive appliances that were contracted is infuriating. Not asking for Pulte to improve supply chain, just tell us what you know instead of "we have no information" ... and neighbor waiting over 7 months for appliances. ... More

Your experience through out the home buying experience are directly tied in to who is your sales person and manager. Tyler and David are truly professionals.

Our Southwestern Florida Home built by Pult in is Amazingly Solid, very pleased, however we worked with them so they could close us by the end of the year knowing we had a dozen items on the Punch (Still to do list). This is where they totally dropped the ball, very unresponsive,...Very disappointing.

Still waiting 1 month later for items found after closing.

Push to get us in by year end left some items unfinished or rushed.

Our new house is our "forever" home in Babcock Ranch, FL, and we wanted it to be as perfect as possible. The finishing work on the house is sub-par. The interior paint is sub-par - dirt in the finished paint. The "skip coat" finish just doesn't look good. There is grout all over the new tile floor (even after they had someone come in 2 or 3 times to clean it). The windows are off square, making it difficult to hang blinds. Also, the day we officially closed on the house and expected to spend our first night in our house we found that the sewage line had never been hooked up to the street. This left us feeling very distraught, angry, and depressed that we couldn't spend our first night in our new house. It was "inhabitable" with no toilet or water usage. All in all the experience was good. This is a second, eventual retirement snowbird home. The communication was ok but I did not push. Closed in June and will not return to the home until this winter. Can’t speak on workmanship because we have yet to spend a day there. Construction managers were very knowledgeable, sales rep was great

Overall we’re happy with our home. The process ended up taking 4 months longer than they told us it would when we signed the contract but it was during the Covid supply chain period so I’m guessing most of it was out of their control. They were good about providing updates along the way and being responsive. When it came time to close, as with most new builds I think, there were quite a few things that weren’t up to par. We made the mistake of closing anyway instead of forcing them to fix them first and now we’re 6 weeks into being here and most things still haven’t been fixed. Our AC didn’t work for the first week we lived here (and we have an infant and live in Florida). The master shower doors didn’t line up or have a seal at the bottom so water just flowed onto the floor. Some cabinets in our upgraded kitchen still had raw, unfinished edges. One cabinet had a hole in the front where a screw had gone too far. A lot of stuff like that. And then there were 25 other minor things on top of that. Overall nice constructions although a little shoddy on some things (crown molding, paint, pavers, etc.) also, some of materials used are of the lowest quality (switches, outlet plugs, bath fixtures). Warranty department is also slow to respond and requires multiple phone calls/ emails to get a response (if they respond at all).

Our only complaint in the process was dealing with Pulte mortgage. Tifani the person who collected all of our financial info seemed to drop the ball often. It was the most stressful experience! The day before our closing she told us we needed a piece of information or we couldn’t close! Her words were “you have a yellow light right now”. In the meantime our realtor checked into it and we were already cleared to close. We felt like we were always scrambling to get one more piece of information!

Design studio experience was very stressful. Two things. One. some options that were available were not discussed. Second, it would have been a much better experience with the design center to have at least 24 hrs. to change some decisions. or add some options.

The builder, his construction manager and his warranty team were very responsive to any issues that arose during the building of our house. Unfortunately, we had some subcontractors whose work was well below average, specifically the painter and whomever installed the duct work. The painter left many drips imbedded in our grout and the baseboards are a mess. Three ducts in our house contained styrofoam that prevented the fans from working properly. 30 days after closing and our kitchen cabinets still need trim work that should of been installed at closing. I love the home, but the purchase and move-in was torture. Many things were a problem. It's been a month and most are fixed but some are still pending. Even so, I hear that other builders are worse. So, in comparison they might still be one of the top builders.

Over all a poor experience. It started with the sales consultant who is less than forthcoming in regards to the contract we got to point where we were going over everything and she said I’ll just email the rest. It’s a standard contract included in the contract without any discussion appliances and window coverings what we should’ve done, sat there until it was done, and everything was clear. Construction manager was very attentive and helpful. However, the final product had that fell off within a week and was missing a plug in the kitchen required carrying out the brand new tile which is still not replaced and we closed on 3/1 The closing people wanted to rush the closing and my wife had medical issue that we had to postpone it for week and it was like the end of the walk we’re not showing up for walk-through. Did they bend over and change it to customer service for me I would not recommend or buy another Pulte home. ... More

We purchased a spec home so we will Half to upgrade appliances as we go, they were the low end KitchenAid. The final closing could’ve been a lot more organized as far as utility hook ups ,trash containers delivered ,code for the gate. All this took time, and I feel it should have taken place at the time of closing and receiving your keys. Steve. and Jose, the two foreman communicated well with us.They’re very best to get the punchlist taken care of before Taking possession. Some items did not get done due to parts availability, etc., it will be taken care through the warranty department. The process of purchasing a Pulte home was fairly easy. The process outlined in the Pulte videos was not followed at all. The walk final through went great, but the amount of re-work required is unacceptable. Pulte needs to do it right the first time.

House could have been cleaned up inside and in garage prior to move in. House number fell off and I had to glue back on

During the building process, communication was inconsistent with our project manager. We would have to bring up items several times before they were corrected, and some were not corrected. The last week of building was chaos and items were still being completed the day of closing. I know it is difficult to find quality sub-contractors and that is the biggest complaint. Detail work is poor. Each sub that would come in would damage something the previous sub did and we have a lot of bumps and bruises that are still not fixed after being in the house for more than a month. Ultimately we are happy to be in our house and we know we will love it, but for the price, there should be MUCH better attention to detail. ... More

Tyler, the sales rep was wonderful. He helped us figure out the home options we would like and is very good at his job. The home was completed in a timely manner, and the overall workmanship was very good. Everything was going well until the end of the build. There were SEVERAL issues at our final walkthrough, and this was addressed with the project manager BUT nothing was fixed or corrected. We were assured by the project manager that everything would be taken care of, but when we moved in, the garage door opener didn’t work, the garbage disposal didn’t work, the ice maker did not work, the oven and microwave didn’t work, the painters did a terrible job( painting over switch plates, floors, tile, clumps of paint in places,etc), tile still needs to be acid washed, and framing in some rooms needs to be corrected. We didn’t expect things to be perfect, but we didn’t realize it would be this bad. Angel, a Pulte representative, is helping us now with all the corrections necessary. ... More
